  1. Welcome to the forum @chadmariage! We love photos around here so feel free to throw some in of your current setup and as others have said, when that LAB arrives! The green with white Accra is the setup I would go with as well!
  2. Think it would have to be Titleist for me. The T series irons look great and performed so well for testers last year. I’ve already got a Scotty putter which has performed really well for me and the TSi3 which again is a solid performer (when I can hit it )
  3. Good morning all and happy St. Patty’s day! Getting back into the swing of the regular routine today, feels good to be back home. From waking up at the resort to walking in our front door yesterday, it was a full 12 hours. All travel was smooth, though, which was great. Have plenty of laundry and unpacking to do today, and also have the coaches meeting/player draft for Little League AAA today. It is our oldest son’s first year playing and I’ll be helping as an assistant coach. Hope everyone has a great day and happy birthday to your daughter, @Josh Parker!
  4. Good morning fellow spies from another sunny and breezy Cancun day. No check in yesterday as I was trying to be mobile free the majority of the day. Currently set up on the beach and will move to the pool later today. Have also avoided significant sunburn but I’ll tell you what. SPF 50 doesn’t work the same in Mexico as it does in Wisconsin We are here till Saturday morning then flying back home. We do miss the kiddos, who have been having a good with with the grandparents. Hope everyone has a great Thursday!
  5. My friend told me a hat is a good idea, so I listened.
  6. Good morning all from sunny Cancun! Had some issues getting checked into rooms yesterday which was really frustrating, but not going to let it dictate the week. Our travel agent is working on communicating with the resort. Essentially we didn’t get into our rooms until 6:30pm when we were supposed to at 3pm. Then the other couple traveling with us was given a two double bed room instead of one king, which I realize isn’t a huge deal but was icing on the cake yesterday lol. Should be a beautiful day and I got only slightly sunburned on my shoulders yesterday. I’m either white or red, there’s no in between haha. Extra sunscreen and some shade mixed in today. Starting things off with mimosas!
  7. Good guess but further south! Cancun!
  8. Mandatory beach check in. @Cfhandyman the prescription worked for my friend. Margaritas are unlimited and flowing like a river
  9. Big thanks to @GolfSpy_BNG for subbing for me in week 1! I have no doubt he will be giving myself and @MC3157 a boost into the next round!
  10. Goooooood morning fellow spies! Up before the sun to head to the airport for Cancun! Flight departs at 6:15. I am in desperate need of caffeine and have Oppenheimer and Full Swing downloaded to my phone for flight entertainment on the way there and back. Will check in occasionally this week as I can. Looking forward to a week off work and some margaritas!
  11. Good morning all! Daylight savings time is upon us which means 6am dew sweeper rounds and evening 9s are almost upon us here in Wisconsin and I can’t wait. Last day before heading down to Mexico so finishing packing and then heading to Milwaukee this evening to fly out early tomorrow. Stopped in at Golf Galaxy yesterday and hit the Ai Smoke TD, Qi10 LS and Darkspeed LS and all I can say is holy smokes what a year for drivers. Fast ball speeds, forgiving, and long. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!
  12. Those are the exact three I hit as well. Darkspeed LS felt the best for me by far, but also had the most trouble keeping it from going left. It just felt FAST as heck. I think I clocked one 151 ball speed, only got to hit about 7 with it. Qi10 LS felt good and like I said really stable, performed about the same as the Darkspeed but didn’t want to miss left as much. Got a couple that were 290s total. Ai Smoke TD was really, really good. There were a few where I missed and thought “that’s gonna suck” and still got upper 250s on distance and in play. Best ball of the day was a 260s carry and 296 total distance. One thing I can say for sure is ALL three of these clubs felt more forgiving on misses and seemed to generate better ball speeds than my TSi3, which to me is saying something for LS heads. Definitely has me wanting to upgrade
  13. Just hit the Qi 10 LS at Golf Galaxy and man, a very good feeling driver and stable head. Much improved over Stealth line IMO. Hit a few that reached 150 ball speed and 290s total distance with spin in the 1900-2100 range. I can see why you guys are liking them so much!
  14. This is great advice from some very clearly wise doctors. I'll take this prescription with me to Mexico on Monday! ........I mean....my friend will!
  15. Fantastic looking iron. PING absolutely killed their iron releases this year, best looking across the board IMO. Eagerly awaiting the PING demo day at my course so I can try these, as well as the Blueprint S
  16. Aww come on, @Kenny B! We need the good booze to stay warm!
  17. Good morning fellow spies and TGIF! Last day of work and it should be a short-ish one before my 9 day break from work begins! Kids are feeling better, which is a great relief as it would be really hard to leave for our trip if they were sick and not feeling well. We will head down to Milwaukee Sunday late afternoon/early evening and then fly out of the airport there at 6:15 am for Mexico! I really like the MKE airport as it is smaller by a large margin than O'Hare in Chicago and just less hustle and bustle. Direct flight as well which is fantastic. I have been holding off on watching Oppenheimer for the flight, so my in air entertainment is set as well. We will be in Cancun Monday - Saturday, flying out mid morning that day and getting back to Wisconsin mid afternoon. Weather looks FANTASTIC currently as well, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Back home weather will be nice, too, which will be good for the grandparents with being able to do things outdoors with the boys while we are gone after school. Hope everyone has a great day today!
  18. @Cfhandyman do these prescriptions come in the form of a margarita glass? Asking for a friend....
  19. I have a Cobra Ultralight Pro Cart bag and it has been fantastic. Lots of storage, giant insulated pocket, and very durable material. Also won't break the budget as I believe you can get them for around $175. I bought my wife a C130 off eBay last year and again, it is a fantastic bag with some great features. If you're looking for a premium bag, Ghost Golf has a fantastic product in the Anyday stand bag. On par with Vessel in terms of quality, but at a premium price point. However, I do feel with bags in that realm you get what you pay for. Not everyone is after that type of bag, though. I also previously had a Callaway Org 14 cart bag which was a great bag as well. I would say between the C130 and Ogio, you really can't go wrong. Both are bags I had looked at in the past.
  20. Got it, now I see where you're coming from with the statement. Yes, I agree with you that there will be folks out there who will take a computer generated result as "what they should be playing." I think the people that would fall most victim to that would be those that don't fully understand the process of how different shaft and head combinations can provide different outcomes, mostly newer or inexperienced golfers. Heck, I used to be in that camp when I first started out and before I really started getting into a deep dive on the forum.
  21. In agreement with the above posts. I think it could be a decent starting point, especially for wedges where companies are coming up with tons of different grind/bounce combinations, but ultimately you have to get the club in your hands and see how it feels with your swing. Even more so with a shaft, IMO, as different profiles can feel so different. You also cannot discredit the eye and knowledge of a fitter. There are so many demo days at courses anymore where you don't necessarily even need to pay for a fitting, unless you're really inclined to do so with a company like Titleist. But I know at my course, there's a TM, Callaway and PING demo day where they have tons of shaft and head options for RH and LH golfers.
