  1. They offer the workouts for free weights OR bands. If there are exercises that make you feel uncomfortable they offer alternative exercises. They have videos on how to do every exercise in their library.
  2. PXG - I play the Gen 3 XP irons and absolutely love them! I have tried Pings, Hogans, Titleist, Callaway and nothing compares for me to PXG for forgiveness, distance and accuracy. My woods are PXG also, all in XP. Everything was fitted at a fitting and it was worth every penny. I liked the look for years and it has paid off on the course for me. I have no plans of changing out any of these clubs in the near future!
  3. Check out the Fit for Golf app. I did several of different workouts for different times of the year or different abilities
  4. I prefer the silence of nature. I have no problem if someone wants to play tunes, my problem is when I am 4 holes away and I feel like I am in a concert. Just no respectful to the people around them. Quick story - playing a round a group behind us is playing music real loud. Guy in one cart is hollering to another guy (who is playing the music) if he picked up his club. My partner is attempting to tee off. Each time he addressed the ball, the first guy screams to the music guy if he picked up his club. After 4x, my partner steps back and shouts at music guy, asking if he picked up other guys club. Finally got an answer, however music continued to play loudly. Oh well, more important things to get upset about!
  5. Check out Rose and Fire. They have some very nice ones. I have three wood covers and a putter cover. All different or you can get sets. They run discounts and grab bag sales regularly. Let us know what you think
  6. I used Shot Scope for two years and was not satisfied with it at all. The watch band would come off during swings and tracking putts was not good. Unless you verified how many putts it took the distance was WAY OFF! Got Arccos for free when I had a set of PING irons. Upgraded to the pocket sensor and it works incredible! Can't say enough good things about the system. Only complaint is if I use my Apple watch as the sensor my watch can only make 16 holes. That's because my watch is an older version, so that is my fault, not the systems. What's great is I can use my watch, the pocket sensor or my phone to record my rounds. The "shots gained" readouts are awesome and very understated on how much you can learn from the assessments. As with anything, everyone can find good or bad in any system. I made the decision of trying the Arccos after my disappointment with Shot Scope after reading the reviews. Then you either move in a different direction or give something a try. Me personally.....I am very happy with the Arccos system!
  7. Tuesday and Thursday practices are committed to ZEN golf. I start Tuesdays with SuperSpeed training, then work on my mechanics in slow motion drills (1 min swing). Then I break down my swing to different steps to verify I am in the positions I want to be in. Thursdays are similar, just no SuperSpeed training. I will hit balls on Fridays
  8. I recently got the C130s and love it. Plenty of storage. Great when I go to the range and don’t have to worry about bag tipping over. Have used it on my push cart and a riding cart. Love it!
  9. Was fit for my previous Driver (Callaway Epic w/ Project X stiff shaft) at a local golf shop. I was happy with it but I just never got comfortable with it. That was summer of 2019. This spring due to the Covid I tried the TRU-FIT here at MGS. It was suggested the Cobra Speed Zone 9.5 w/ Tensei Blue stiff shaft. I ordered it and went to the driving range. Had my own side by side test between the two drivers. I could not believe how the comfort and trust I had in the Cobra as compared to the Callaway. Distance, dispersion and control were amazing. Next morning I played my home course and played two balls off the tee, switching back and forth between which one I hit first. Again the Cobra won hands down. More fairways and better control (draws and fades on demand). I put the Callaway in the closet and made the Cobra my gamer. Season is winding down here in Northern NY and I cannot be happier that I went with the Cobra. My playing partners aren't very happy. Took me off the email list for weekend schedule because I have been taking their money every time I played. Thanks MGS for whatever hand you had with the TRU-FIT. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a new Driver.
  10. Good points! Never thought of it that way. Thanks for the input
  11. So not that long ago there was an article about Taylor Made taking over as the NEW #1 equipment company. Just want to throw my 2 cents in. The golf course I work at hosted a fitting session for Taylor Made and Calloway. Taylor Made sold close to $22000 worth of equipment. Call away comes in a week later and all they did was fittings. Did not close a single deal with anyone! No pricing, No nothing. Just told folks what they suggest. Gave the Golf Director the information and then left. When asked if they sold anything they told the pro that was his job. 5 hours of work and not a single sale. Kinda missing the boat if you ask me. A name only goes so far. What’s your opinions??
  12. I agree with the fitting suggestion. When dropping $450 plus you don’t want to guess it is the best fit. I tried 5 different drivers with different shaft to find what works best for me and what felt best. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
