We have an order in for a Mustang Mach E. We live in SoCal and have solar panels on the house, so with gas prices it makes a ton of sense for us. I agree with @Shankster, I am looking forward to self charging cars!

F1 has recharge under braking and Formula E is a bit more advanced, being all electric. Not sure how that would relate to braking under normal driving speeds but I trust there will be some processes worth waiting for in the next 5 to 10 maybe?

The strongest point, I think, by the both of you!

  2. All of the above! Great hat tips and product rec too, thanks dudes!

I'll add some fine grit brought my NDMC purples back to life after starting to fade.(discontinued so no regrip option) Worked the upper rubber while wet with soap and lower cord after dried. Brand new!  Now they've some new team colors so purple is back in new form.

For Tour Velvet guys that like the noticeable tack, here's to you.....Got this link in email recently.....

    https://store.golfpride.com/store/grips/prod4941966/tour-velvet-tour-tack?utm_source=nl&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=tourtack&utm_content=email_reminder&elqTrackId=f0a6e97455e342bb92e7e9e2d48969e6&elq=afc990270cd14567aa005df555cfdfdb&elqaid=666&elqat=1&elqCampaignId=551

  3. Stop putting in the hole on practice green. Get your speed and break read dialed. Find a flat putt from big toe to big toe, little toe to little toe. Lag putt back to your bag or where you left your wedges or the fringe towards your cart. My course is faster on practice green then on course and with more break. Get out of your head and onto improving by looking at what's next. Have you ever walked and tripped a bit and tripped again after(while not inebriated)? Because you subconsciously thought of your next step and not the the one way back that you stumbled on. Hang out in the clubhouse until you can tee off alone in between slow groups. I carry two balls and drop to re-hit when I really want a miracle shot to work(mostly crazy fades). You are a miracle, believe in your next stroke. I haven't two putted in 3 weeks, haven't played in four weeks, when I go out Friday I know I haven't missed a putt since July though putting is not any concern for me.(my apologies) Feel free to criticize, I'm on meds for that too! Please create a routine and stick it everytime. I take longer lining up recently but don't hold up the game due to makes and tap ins. Also have you bellied a ball with a wedge leading edge? It creates great roll, direction, and speed control. The leading edge of a hovering 60° will make a pro of you, at least a quasi-pro mid single digit am!

Edit for I flipped a coin to post. I'm brain damaged...

  4. Good luck man, I subscribed and will check in some times. Glad your gettin' into it full swing! 120 to 100 is easy, I  think (never started at >120. 115 to 105 to 95 is easier. 95 to 85 is where I spent the most money in my healthy addiction but learned the most 150yds and more like 50 yds in and the tv short game shots. 85 to 75 must be harder b/c I'm not yet consistent. 71 was my best ever after 4 under through 9. That ish is stressful!

Most important, upholding etiquette and respect for the hallowed grounds. Fill your ddivots please and for the god of love, repair your pitchmarks and 1 or 2 more that some douchelords left behind! Bonus karma for learning how to fix them properly. That should be required to know if one's fit for golf before being fitted for golf gear! Tip the beer cart girl-beer cart girls rule-, have an occasional lunch in the clubhouse, and always thank the grounds crew you come across "for all what y'all do"!

  5. Congrats to Brickshire for the win!

      AZMasters for the runner up!

And the 4 tied at for third at -16, good luck on the tie breaker!!!

I finished at 33rd with -9, more disappointed in a few picks than my standing. And we all probably could have been a couple more under if not for the closing putts on 18! (lol?)

Thanks MGS for making it happen!

If returning or exchanging isn't an option, I could never imagine buying anything online.

Sizing isn't a Linksoul problem. I wear Small in adidas shirts, medium in Under Armour, small or medium in Nike depending on the cut.

Don't even get me started on shoes as sizes can vary from product line to product line in the same brand.

Therefore, I never buy anything clothing or shoe related online unless I know that I could easily return or exchange at no cost to me.

You took a risk and it didn't work out. That's not their fault

Thanks, what size are you in Linksoul then?

Must just be but I do not get the same stop on my chips with the Tour X as I do with my BXS, I would say driver was longer and the ball does jump off the club but I'm to used to that one bite and stop that 5 more yards isn't that important.

Have you played a Srixon vs the BXS? A 24ct box for $65 dropped today only Z Star and XV, no Diamond. Srix and Golfballs . com emails and the box design (not color) and descriptions say they are '22 models. I'm now leaning also gettin' some Maxflis after this thread though, anybody say Pro or X are updated and properly evolved Revolutions???

That’s the downside of many of the box stores that don’t have a “tour fitting” offering like PGASS or 2ndswing does. You maybe find a competent fitter who understands the swing and the numbers and can explain them to the customer. There are some guys like that because they are supplementing their demo day income during the off-season.

For a place like club champion it’s going to be hit or miss as well. Wherever one goes finding out who the fitter is and getting reviews on that person is best. CC isn’t biased towards a brand or two in my experience of them and reading other reviews. They are biased towards upcharge shafts but they will stay with stock offerings if requested.

Imo indoor fittings aren’t ideal especially for irons. You don’t get a feel for how the club interacts with the turf and if it’s right for your swing or not. It takes a really good fitter to see your swing, understands what it’s doing and how it interacts with the turf. Ian explained that to @Golfspy_CG2when he did his iron fitting there. It’s why assuming a GI is good for high handicaps or slow swing speeds. Even the v sole on the srixons could be good or bad for a digger.

My recommendation would be to find an outdoor fitter or wait for the demo day season to start then go to one of those. However if looking to buy sooner and indoor is the only option then look for a fitter that has really good reviews.

It's worth the effort to find a fitter / builder that wants you to have the best fit equipment your shellin' out for! I would find someone at a club.   https://www.mizunousa.com/us/store-locator?region=Golf

It's worth a trip if necessary, with another person even, plan accordingly to make the best of it! Even for a small fee if not purchasing, you deserve full attention and feedback.....find it!     Be Well/Stay Safe/Stay Happy!!!

Can't really judge clubs by how they look anymore.   The new hollow body foam filled heads are now game improvement type clubs due to how they can move weight around.

Yeah but Mizuno didn't pay for the plastic surgery. No injections here or with Ping.

. What do you love about golf? Golf is the most difficult sport in the world and I love being outdoors.

I'm certain that other sports professionals would have valid disagreement. I respect that it's my hardest sport endeavor I've attempted since trying to hit a two foot breaking ball in my youth but still, the hardest? Maybe as a static sport?

I do Love being outdoors and find my own personal golfer Happiness in Your personal enjoyment of this aspect and the fact that we get rounds with younger and much older alike while sharing the environment while not so much sharing any score range. Golf Is Grand!!!

Beyond Payne Stewart, one I have admired(since B4 '99 in a damp uphill on my CRT), nobody else has died specifically for the game, or have been paralyzed. I do note that You've said hardest and Not most dangerous. Though if You are one of these guys, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Formula_One_fatalities . You may find risk in the equation of hard...

Now if we had grip changers every 4 to 9 holes(depending on course length), the game may become more difficult in terms of professional time?

  11. There is a course with a cliff on one of the bases in San Antonio. It was my first taste of Texas golf for a flatland fL boy. There is a cliff at the turn before a wild uphiller, I mean stories worth of terrain. My Pops was retired Airman. That was b4 TPC in Bastrop with opposing 9s, another in Bastrop w/ a few river holes, and all the glorious terrain found all over Texas. It's been 2 decades, my apologies for absence of names  and to myself for not living in Texas. Say Hi to Salt Lick Grill at Grissmill and the Pappas Bros.!!!

Anyone try the Steadfast shafts?  small U.S. company in Missouri.

The only mention I have found for Steadfast shafts here, I want this community perspective! I too would like to hear any review or speculative opinion. Should this get it's own thread? Very Low Torque intrigued me, highly informative / convincing site too. Here is an answer to a question in their FAQ: "What makes Steadfast Shafts perform so well? What's technology? We start with premium carbon fiber that costs 10 times more than what our competitors use. This premium material (and some proprietary manufacturing processes we can’t share) allow us to create finely tuned, superlight, and effectively “spineless” shafts with less than 1 degree of torque (twisting) that deliver the most distance and accuracy for YOUR swing (fast, medium or slow)…and you get these performance gains regardless of how you adjust your driver."

    "We offer a 30-DAY SATISFACTION / FLEX GUARANTEE"....."We offer a 3-YEAR PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE".....

"And we offer a LIFETIME PRODUCT GUARANTEE: If your shaft ever breaks, we will replace it for you at no charge and with no questions asked."

i put one in the cart but am hesitant to purchase. At $99 with w/ adapter and grip installed, is this too god to be true? Sounds like a "Unicorn" for sure and with little financial risk.
Anybody think this is an introductory price and will go up once a good word gets out?
    Steadfastgolf DOT Com .....VERY INTERESTING!!!

We believe everyone should able to benefit from -- and afford -- the performance gains that come from playing premium golf shafts.

  13.  Have You heard of or signed up for Golfgrade? I'm unsure where I picked up this site or started receiving their emails. I thought from another web subscription as in when I select to receive contact from affiliated sponsors. It is def not from Golf Pass, Now, or the Golf Channel family. The premise is sign up and get selected to test from a wide array of golf products. The latest was sign up for testing Omni products and their own Graphene laced shafts and gain 20yds over major OEMs, any person registering to test will receive a sleeve of ProV1s. I signed up and just today received a call confirming my registration, email, home address and requesting card information for shipping. nI politely declined and was then offered to test any number of woods or hybrids, solely for feedback purposes b/c you know they really want my two cents on these revolutionary clubheads and especially this proprietary graphene laced in-house shaft. Great! I am special and only need to put a $193.00 hold on my card, per club, while I test. Completely refundable if and when I choose to return the (limited release, completely underground) equipment. I dig the concept of testing through the masses who will eventually make or break your gear though feel comfortable at this time having passed on the "opportunity" to shell out money in providing a time consuming diagnostic for any company. What do You think? Imagine the blank white sleeves of balls marked with poker card symbols attached to a postage due ticket and a please return them if you haven't hit a tree or cart path note. Have You partaken in testing with this company? Is this a golf company or a research company? Investigation has not proven either way in limited, w/out social media, searches. So I ask from us here about Golf Grade and if putting holds on cards is proper for testing?

NBCSports golf gold package isn’t bad. But I don’t know if you’ll get euro tour.

Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

A bit late but here goes..... You can stream Sky Sports Golf.  IF you use a VPN and have an Android device you can check out Live net tv. Go through their site as there are many imitators in the Play Store. It's on V4.7, May the Google be with you!

  15. Hi all! New account, been around since '13. I plan to be more active than previous. I've read most things daily, including comments though I've found most things stated. I appreciate all of the time and effort of MGS and the community and hope that my perspective may be of use or value. I am overcoming a tech phobia and have not done much in this social media landscape so You Guide Me!

How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score?

I've played 10yrs over the last 30. Once seriously and now twice.. My handicap is that I enjoy the sport... or 11ish.

What do you love about golf?

My father gave me golf as a child until we couldn't afford it. He gave me my second set at 21 and it saved my life.

What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies?

Since I tried to introduce golf to a neighbors son in '12 I found MGS while researching. He didn't care for golf but I fell back in Love with playing. I knowingly know no other Spies.

Where are you from? What is your home course?  Recently from Orlando. Home course: Winter Park 9(WPCC or WP9).  Practice range/course: Forest Lake.

What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? As another stated...Weather and Weather. More beneficial is going out as a single it is easy to find times alone to experiment or play two balls or to be able to link up with a wide variety of golfers and skill levels. It keeps it interesting and mostly course dependent on who or what kind of day you want. We get to have it all. BEWARE the Intimidators...(not referencing Daytona race fans here)...not so far though perhaps few between, but we do have them!

What do you do for a living? Currently studying online. Have been a cook, server, restaurant mgr. Installer for telecom, DC power plants, Epoxy flooring concrete prep / chemical mixer. I've been a helper since preschool and  working since the third grade (outside of school and baseball.

How’d you pick your user name? I was, like my current irons, "Made in Japan"... my Mother(oka-san) is Japanese and my (USAF Retired) Father is White American...like the cheese at Subway!.....I wrote that myself. (*-*)

    HAPPY "US" OPEN WEEKEND Y'ALL!!!
