1) you know that's a lie. I'm sure youre an addict like the rest of us. You say you you won't watch, but you'll be there. 2) How exciting would a Brooks/Dechambeau final pairing. Think of the headlines - "Brain vs Brawn", "Science vs Strength", "Jocks vs Dweebs". We might see the first fist fight in Masters history. We might see Bryson intentionally play slow to get in Brooks' head. They're both top flight golfers and their personalities could not be more clashing. I think outside of seeing Tiger there it would be one of the most fun final pairings to watch.

Sounds like I might have to watch out for another of these 2 for 50 deals, thats not a bad price for a new ball.

I've found that when playing in the summer months down here in central FL that the specific grip itself is not the biggest issue. My hands sweat no matter what and so as long as the grip isn't slick I'm going to have a similar grip quality. The best thing I've found is keeping a small hand towel with me and giving my hands a good wipe before shots. That and constantly cycling gloves, i might play 4 - 5 gloves per round cycling after ever shot or 2.

Has anyone had an opportunity to swing the new PX HZRDUS smoke yellow in comparison to the yellow, smoke, or evenflow white? Currently have the evenflow white in my Rogue having swapped that out from a HZRDUS yellow and looking for any info about the feel/launch/spin differences between them. Thanks!

I agree with a lot of the comments on here already that this is a good loose guideline to within a few hundred yards in either direction. The one that kills me is when yardages are essentially artificially inflated through long par 3s. Theres a number of courses here in the Orlando area that will play low 6k's but all 4 par 3's are close to 200 yards.

Ya as others have stated seems like his issue. If you're not hitting into him then it's really all in his head and at that point he should either let you come up and join or play through. Some people cant be helped i guess.

Just my 2c but having played a bunch of different balls from Pro-V1/V1x, Chrome soft/x, a whole vice trial pack, TP5, B330, Z-star. Without doing a full fitting in a bay to look at ball speed, launch angle, and spin rate differences it really boils down to feel. At my skill level I can't honestly tell you if one of those balls spun any more or less or which ones carried further or ballooned less than any of the others but I can tell you which ones I liked and didn't care for. For me it just boiled down to what feels pretty good, does what I expect, and wont cause me to spend 10 minutes looking for it in the trees because a weekend round is slow enough already.

Can't say I've ever been distracted by a glossy crown. It sounds like one of those things that marketing departments come up with to tell convince you that theirs is better but has no actual benefit.

How many different shafts did you try with the M6 and how much a difference from shaft to shaft did you see in your own feel/consistency?

With the amount of prerelease info that comes out with regards to USGA certification and such I would think if something were coming soon we'd know about it by now. That and considering the new irons Ping has dropped I wouldn't be surprised if it was going to be a while before a new blade release. So it boils down to whats your time frame on new irons?

Thanks for this write up, I love my 850's still but with the upgrades they've made since then it seems like it could be worth giving these the comparison test.

You gotta figure Brooks is at least going to get a shot at them and if he likes them more he'll play em. His club choice when he starts the new season will be telling as to whether he thinks they're a viable upgrade since Mizuno can't contractually force him into the newest equipment.

Looks to me like an i500 competitor. Wonder if they're hollow or loaded with a new speed foam competitor. Could also see this being an extension of the TS moniker into irons.

Do you notice any difference in the grip or feel of the club with the sensors attached? And is it possible to leave the phone in the cart and just update between shots or does your phone have to be that close to the sensor? Thanks hope you're enjoying the system.
