Are you playing golf during the coronavirus outbreak?
TWshoot67 replied to StrokerAce's topic in The 19th Hole
most course are closed in my area, so no playing. Philadelphia, Pa. enforcing people to stay in home. Unless your job is hospital, foodstore, gas essential workers only outside of home, so NO GOLF! -
Any reason why this is still open if the testers have been chosen? Might want to lock this up, or just watch a bunch of late entries.

congrats to the lucky chosen ones. can't wait for the future here.

So I see others have noticed that YAHOO is out of the Golf fantasy biz. Are we going to try having groups anywhere else or just ,,,,,,, BAGGING it this 2018 seaon?

Never seen any of my Over 50 Bettinardi's ever have a problem with finish or denting and chipping like that pic. I'd have to really see it in person but it looks like it took quite a bump along the top line for it too have a finish chip off and leave a ding. Something like another club banging into top line with some type of force. Unlike a forged iron where they are clanging together while walking 18 holes for years at a time clubs get those dings, and yes sometimes the chrome finish can get screwed up. But I haven't seen that with any of my Bettinardi's at all and I've owned easily 50 or more over the last 20 years. I'd take some pics and call or write Bettinardi and talk to them and see what they have to say. They might just help you out.

The last two weeks 32, and 33 killed my chances ion group 5. I was #1 for summer and #1 overall in group 5 only to plummet down to like 9th and 3rd. I just kept having the wrong player at the wrong day. Had all good players for most part shooting low rounds but when I had player A on Thursday he should have been Friday and so on... Only Chance now is to get real lucky to win overall group 5 which actually means squat in the big scheme of things. Back when yahoo first started this I use to be good at picking being in to 99%. Now I'm lucky to break into top 90%

OK. Gotcha. So much for thinking I was getting better at this ...lol

Here's what I get from Yahoo Group 5: for each Segment: ( Are all these wrong that I've been following this year?) Winter: Spring: Summer:

I picked the shoot67 because its my lowest score ever in golf for 18 holes. It was over 20 years ago and I doubt I'd ever score that low again but one can aspire too. The TW are my initials so thats where I came up with the twshoot67 name. Now that I've been on almost every golf forum known to exist I have just kept it going for the last say 19/20 years. I can't believe I've been on this internet thing for almost 20 years, wow! I just have a passion for golf like how when I was younger ( when I actually could play) for ice hockey. Love to see Ariya go low on Sunday!

Premium PROFIT if they sell, and they will (lot's a guys trying to buy that extra 0.5mph ball speed you get with these irons...) lol. I bet Callaway can make about 200.00 on each club they sell or more. That's a heck of a profit. We all know the saying " there's a sucker born every minute ". What I really want to see is how many staffers will bag these and for how long?

I'm 53 years old and have been playing the Aldila RIP Tour in my Cobra S3 Pro forged irons since the RIP Tours came into existence. I have to say they are fantastic. Before those I was playing the True Temper Black Gold R300, before that Project X Satin 5.5's. The feel is fantastic and no more elbow issues or bent tips like my steel iron shafts would have happen every now and again. The materials now are so good that everyone can play graphite in irons if they really wanted. Graphite is not nearly the same as when my Pop bought graphite shafts 15 years ago.
