  1. Best start of a round in recent years, -3 on the front and then a beauty +6 on the back

I have shot even par several times, but never under par on 18. A couple years ago I was -4 with two to go and doubled both of them to shoot even again. Moral of the story......sh!t happens. Still a good round.

Well I just broke into the - column with a 68 on my home course in lousy conditions. It was like 40* and wind blowing approximately 20-30 mph. Probably one of the best ball striking days ever. I've have several under par rounds when I was younger, but tis was my first since my big operation. 1st under par round with Left knee replacement. Very excited about the 2012 season!

  2. I went on the Kaenon website and it looks like the Hard Core large is my size. One question though is it not available in white frame? The lens though I'm not so sure about. right now in my Bolle's are supposedly specifically for Golf and reading the greens, but I have very very sensitive eyes to sunlight, so I'm not sure if I'd need the darker lens or the amber colored lens. It looks like the only frame color choice is either Black or Tobacco is that correct? I'd have to try them out before I'd throw down over 200.00, but if the lenses are as good as your saying it may just be worth it.How is this material when it comes to the minor scratches, all these companies say they are scratch resistant but is there actually a lens thats scratch proof? Who knows maybe I can get my eyes checked and get prescription lenses? OH well I'll guess I'll have to wait until I get some extra funds, but I truly like the hardcore style!
  3. I think I like the pair called " The Hardcore" but knowing me they probably don't fit my face correctly. Also the price is definitely out of my price range. I wear the Bolle' Vigilante's and paid approx. 70.00 with 3 different lenses and they fit great. But I really like the looks of the Hardcore! Nice review Matt.
  4. I voted OTHER. Reason being is I'll stick with a certain OEM for particular clubs, ie... Woods, Irons,Wedges,Putters. This year I actually went back to a older set of Cobra mb's for irons still using my Callaway FT-9 TA for driver and woods are my TM HFS 3 & 5 woods. Still trying to find a rescue that I like? And when it comes to wedges I've been using Titleist Vokeys for I can't even remember now it's been so long. Putters I can use almost anything but I prefer a Anser style head and I'm actually demoing 3 right now to see what stays in the bag. I have my Nike Method from last season, I tried my old Bettinardi BB1 Tour Exempt, and a Byron Morgan 007. So that's why I chose other because I just do so much equipment ho'ing that when I find some thing new that works better or I play better with thats what I use..... then again I like the comfort of knowing I can go back to my backups which I know work, if that makes any sense?
  5. Didn't these TV/Monitors Staff Bags come out a few years ago as a couple players were using them for their advertisers/sponsors? Maybe JD just doesn't want to miss the latest episode of "Dog The Bounty Hunter" while playing his round of golf? Or maybe is was CMTV?

  18. I mark my ball with 5 dots. Thats 5 on each side! 10 total. I get grief from some of my playing partners but one thing is for sure my ball never gets confused with any other players on the course. Plus when you mark both sides you usually can identify without having to lift ball when say it's in deeper rough. I always though marking both sides was the norm but i have friends who just don't seem to care about how or why they mark their ball! Colors vary, sometime blue, red, green what evver mood I guess! Gamer New ball maybe we'll see.....
  19. who's snooping on a Spy?

  21. I'm a 46 yr.Old Union Plumber. Have been plumbing since I was 10 years old working for father's business every summer. Once I turned 16 I took my journeyman test in city of Philadelphia, Pa. and have been a license plumber ever since. I joined the Plumbers Union Local 690 in 1983 and by the age of 25 I became a Master Plumber. So that would maybe it 30 years as a plumber total. I just celebrated 25 years as a Union Plumber last year while being out injured! I should be retired, or at least that's what my knees are telling me! I was injured on April 8th 2008 as i fell from a ladder approximately 20 feet. As a result of this I've had to have left knee replacement surgery. So it looks like I won't be plumbing anymore. My next endeavor will be to start a golf club repair and fitting business, most golf clubs will be waist high, I won't have to kneel down or climb a ladder or jump in a ditch, I've finally found my true passion, which is GOLF! I've been building and repairing golf clubs as a hobby for approximately 10 years and I hope to take it to the next level, and become a certified club maker. There's much to learn in the golf industry and like anything else in life you can always learn something new everyday! Tim
