  1. Good morning everyone! It's community call day and I'm looking forward to being able to talk with y'all this evening. I'm just chilling in the car waiting to go in to work while drinking my coffee and check the happenings of the forum. I'm also curious as to what test the forum leaders have that is so unique. I hope you all have a wonderful day!
  2. That was a great find on a Toulon and it looks sharp! I hope you sink some putts with it.
  3. I think it's a good drill that gets you to focus externally instead of getting caught up in focusing internally to try and figure out what your doing. I honestly enjoy these drills.
  4. It's good to hear you got your contact issues figured out, Jason. There's nothing worse than hitting hosel rockets.
  5. I might have to go full hick up there
  6. Good morning everyone! I think it's hump day, being out of work on Monday has kind of thrown my internal calendar off a bit. It's a beautiful morning here that's going to give way to some rain later on this evening. My wife was going to go get her car detailed today and I remembered the forecast right before bed. I made it through work yesterday without any incidents related to my health and I'm hoping that'll continue throughout the rest of the week. It's been an exciting week on the forum with the announcements of the L.A.B. and Ghost Golf tests and all the interactions happening on here. It's awesome to see the growth of the forum while maintaining the spirit that's been here all the time I've been a member. I hope y'all have a great day!
  7. It looks like you had a beautiful day to be out there, Mark. I'm glad you had a good time and it looks like you scored well.
  8. I could have never imagined a PM thread could come close to what the Cobra Challenge one did, I guess that's just goes to show how excited our testers are. Now you've got me curious as to the bomb you dropped on them. As one of my favorite authors used to say, I'll have to ROAFO. (Read on and find out). @Cfhandyman, I'm really looking Forward to the reviews and believe y'all will knock it out of the park.
  9. @Cfhandyman @jbern I just want to say I enjoyed the introductory posts and you both nailed them. To me, this is the most intriguing test of the year and I'm looking forward to seeing what y'all think.
  10. To everyone wondering about the y'all topic, I feel like I am well qualified (a first for me on the forum) as an unedumicated redneck from SE TN to confirm... It is plural. Y'all will probably hear it a lot at Kingsmill along with other words like yonder (over there for my northern friends). We also don't enunciate very well, especially things like huntin, fishin, and muddin. I refuse to pronounce the g on the end of these. @GolfSpy_KFT, I'm sorry to hear about your problems with the shanks. That's a terrible disease to pick up but thankfully it's early in the year and you have plenty of time to get them figured out and I have faith you will.
  11. Thank you! It was pretty good this morning and I'm hoping the white coat syndrome doesn't get the best of me once I walk in.
  12. Congratulations testers! These seem to be a hit with the folks that ordered them and I can't wait to see what y'all think about them.
  13. Congratulations everyone! It looks like we have a great group of testers and I can't wait to hear how you all get along with these beauties.
  14. Good morning everyone! It's a beautiful Tuesday morning and I'm sitting in the parking lot of work hoping I can pass the check to get to return to work. My BP was good this morning and I hope it stays that way. I hope y'all have a great day!
  15. Kenny, I tend to suffer from white coat syndrome whenever I get my pressure taken, I was sitting in the waiting room at the clinic for at least 20 minutes and I'm the room for another 10 and it still came back as high. It's currently sitting at 131/85 as I'm sitting here with the dogs on my lap. I'm glad to hear it doesn't go up much for you when you're exercising, I was told it would raise it quite a bit and I'm really wanting to get out and start walking or something to get some exercise. I mean, we have a pretty big golf trip coming up and it's bad enough y'all are going to see my limping around after getting off my feet for a while. I want to be in decent enough shape to not be breathing to heavily walking up hills.
  16. Congratulations on huge milestone! It's been great having you on the forum and I've really enjoyed your contributions to our community.
  17. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it, it was hovering in the 135/80 range the last few times I've gone to the doctor and it seems like an abnormality to be as high as it is, so I know there is a chance of it dropping. We have a monitor at the house and I've been keeping an eye on it and will continue to. Thanks Chris!
  18. They did give me a prescription for Losartin and hopefully it'll keep the high blood pressure in check, they also prescribed Zyrtec to help clear up the allergies since they were still enflamed. I just find it weird that a couple of doctors were like "your BP was 180/110... Meh". Lose weight and diet, which I do need to do. Right now I just want to be able to go back to work without burning up all my time off.
  19. It's frustrating to say the least. The doctor at the ER and at primary care are saying that since I haven't had a history of hypertension it's probably an anomaly caused by the vertigo which was probably caused by allergies. I have to go back to the clinic at work tomorrow to see if my BP is down and I can return to work. I just wish they'd quit jerking me around about this. The lady at the clinic has a horrible bedside manner and was asking me if I knew how to properly take a reading as I was getting a reading and having me answer which I've read is a no no. I wish they'd either let me go back to work or put me on short term to get out under control.
  20. I just went to the doctor now I'm in medical trying to get my return to work settled. My BP was still elevated at the doctor and my wife had to advocate for some meds to help with it. It's crazy they don't seem to take this seriously. I realize every time I've been to the doctor it's been good, but c'mon. Hopefully it'll all get settled before to long.
  21. Good morning everyone! It's the Monday after the Masters and I enjoyed getting to watch a bunch of the tournament. I was hoping to see Max or Tommy pull it out, but Scottie is a force of nature right now. I was also impressed with Åberg, that young man looks to be a star in the making. Gotta go see the doc today about my BP and hopefully get clearance to go back to work. @Cfhandyman that is freaking exciting, you know we'll all want every detail. Have fun at TXG! I hope y'all have a great day!
  22. Burger cooked medium with ketchup, mayo, lettuce, sauteed onions, and bacon on a toasted bun. For my side I would go either fries or onion rings washing it down with water.
  23. I smoked it for 3 hours at 225 and I pulled it at an internal temperature of 155. I appreciate the compliment!
