The H4 is small and provides basic information F/M/B distance and hazards. Other than that it is used simply to capture what club you used and where the shot was hit from by tapping the sensor on the h4 unit.
The CONNEX option appears to be done through their app and gives you a couple of extra things like aerial views of the holes while you are playing. Reading through @sirchunksalot review of connex it looks like it does proximity location as well, but you have to have your phone with you all the time.
I can say the Connex isn't a bad unit if you're in a budget. Like @cnosil said you do have to have your phone on you and pull it out to record every shot, which isn't a problem but it can be a bit time consuming on the green. I've actually lost my putter sensor because I hadn't glued it to my SuperStroke grip and was placing it in a button hole on my polo so it was accessable. It didn't fall out, but I can't remember what I did with it after the round. The bag thing is, they don't offer replacements for the Connex system so now I'll have to manually record every putt.

Good morning everyone!
It's a late start to my morning as I was up way too late hanging out with friends. They have a busy schedule and we haven't seen them much in the last couple of months. It was worth it, they're good people and the wives had a lot of catching up to do. They were childhood friends in Illinois who moved down here a few years ago, so they have lots of history.
I'm drinking my morning coffee and giving the animals somewhere to sleep as the designated lap person. Today is grocery day and tomorrow is another round of golf after work.
@rkj427 thanks for the photos! There was one car in particular that brought back memories for me and that was the 68 Dodge Dart. It was my grandmother's car growing up, although it was more of a rusted white than the gold in your photos. We used to travel every summer to visit her siblings in Cartersville GA in it, it held a lot of good memories for me.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

That looks amazing! Did you go all beef or do a sausage/beef mixture?
It's all beef, I haven't thought to do a beef sausage combo. I bet that would be good.
Here's the recipe if you want to try it

Good range session today with the Qi10. This driver is accurate!
My swing is still flawed. After the winter layoff, I am coming over the top, my hands too high, and my takeaway is too inside, so I am losing distance. And the local range here in Bonita has pretty spongy range balls. (Enough with the excuses, Indy!)
Thanks to @GolfSpy_BEN for the tee holder recommendation!
That said, any decent swing with the Qi10 sends the ball into the imaginary fairway.
I am very impressed with the forgiveness of the Qi10. Very. Look at these bad swings and check out the accuracy!

After banging balls with the Qi10, I hit just a few with the Paradym TD and the Otto-Phlex shaft. There was an immediate increase of 2-3 mph of ball speed, even with my current power leaking swing. Of course it is too soon to reach any conclusions, but this will be interesting to track! All data is from the MLM 2 Pro with spongy balls.
Looks like you were hitting the fairway John! I'm glad you were able to take a trip to Florida and get some outdoor swings in.

It's a good thing I'm flying in on Thursday and going immediately to the tee box at RNK so I can REALLY feel prepared for this Round of Death...
Lol. At least you'll all get a sense of just how bad I can really be - that way the rest of the weekend will be an improvement
I'm feeling you on that Sam. It looks like it's going to be an interesting, intimidating course. That tee shot on 4 is scary even though I know there's a wide fairway out there.

I just pulled the meatloaf out and did sample a little bit of it, it turned out great! I need to make a couple of tweaks, but I'm happy with my first cook with the propane smoker.

I'm 6.5hrs in on the brisket.
I bet that brisket is going to be delicious. That's the one thing I haven't tried because I know it's a tricky smoke to get it right and I'm a bit intimidated by it.

The cream cheese is finished and I had to bring it inside and sample it. It's so good! Both seasonings turned out wonderfully. I had to control myself so I wouldn't eat it all before the wife got up.

I posted this in another thread, but if you don't play or haven't played on bermuda grass this might be a mandatory watch
I play on Bermuda on occasion and I appreciate you posting the video here simply because i struggle on it sometimes around the green. My last round I probably lost 4 strokes due to bad chipping.

It begins! I'm excited to do my first smoke in almost two years. I have on the menu a Jack Daniels infused smoked meatloaf and two blocks of cream cheese. One block is seasoned with Everything Bagel and the other is Sweet Peeper rub. I won't actually be eating the meatloaf until tomorrow, but I might just have to sneak a sample when it's done. I'm also using Pecan for the smoke.

If you can find it, fire&smoke makes a cherry cola rub that's amazing on cream cheese, pork, burgers, etc
I think I might actually have that one but I'm not sure. We do have a couple of their rubs and I might have seen that one in the spice rack. Now you've got me wishing I would have bought more cream cheese.
I appreciate the suggestions Rob, this is a smoke that's new to me and I was wondering what seasonings to use.

That looks so good! I'm going to be using the everything bagel and sweet peeper. I think I might have to look into getting the cinnamon toast crunch seasoning because that sounds like it would be great.

Good morning everyone!
It's going to be a busy day here. Like @Josh Parker, I'm firing up the smoker today to do a meatloaf for supper tomorrow night and I'm going to try my hand at smoking some cream cheese. I could do it tomorrow when we're actually eating it, but tomorrow is grocery day and I don't like the thought of leaving it unattended.
We're meeting some friends for dinner tonight we haven't seen in a couple of months. It'll be great spending some time with them.
Jamie, I'm glad you're settled in your new home and hope you can take a little time to relax while still organizing things.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Gonna need to bring my big bag of balls
Me too, Derek. I've watched a couple of videos on the course and realize it's probably going to eat up quite a few golf balls for me but it's going to be fun losing a few.

Good morning everyone!
It's a cool Friday morning with rain forecast for most of the day. I'm just sitting in my car working up the motivation to walk into work.
I really enjoyed the community call yesterday with the founder of Ghost Golf. It's always good to get to see everyone on the weekly call.
I'm planning on stopping at the store on the way home to pick up what I need to smoke a meatloaf and some cream cheese. I've never tried to smoke cream cheese, but I figured I might as well put something extra in there if I'm going to fire it up.
I hope you all have a great day!

Lol same, man! My wife will randomly ask if I ever plan on shaving… the answer is always no. I haven’t clean shaved in 10+ years and at this point, I’m too afraid to see what’s hiding underneath
Me too, Tyler! I always tell everyone I don't have the best beard but at least it hides the ugly. I accidentally shaved mine off about 8-10 years ago by not paying attention to whether or not I had a guard on my trimmer. It was not pretty.

Seeing you sitting back from the screen gave me the clue that you had gotten to use your wifes computer. You probably enjoyed being able to see everyone's face a little clearer.....probably a shock to see @GolfSpy SAM face.
19 minutes ago, TSauer said:I was confused for a split second. I was thinking to myself, “That’s definitely Jason… right? He said he wouldn’t make the call but there’s no way he’s got a twin named Berry on here”
It was just a day for twins of members jumping on the call today, it was especially shocking to see Matt's twin "Bald Face" getting on for Matt. It's just a good reminder for me to never shave mine off.

I was glad I made the call and really enjoyed hearing the story behind Ghost Golf.
I'm also thankful that Jamie admitted me into the call under my wife's pseudonym, she let me use the webcam and microphone on her computer, so if anyone was wondering why my name popped up as Berry, that's it.

I made it to the doctor today and it was basically a visit with the PCP to get a referral to a dermatologist. They put in a request with in at a local hospital and did mark it as urgent. I didn't get much more information than that but at least it's a start. I'll be waiting on a phone call to find out when my next appointment is. Hopefully the urgent will get their attention.
I want to thank each and every one of you who had encouraging words for me and my wife, we appreciate it more than you know. It's a bit of a scary time for us and the support from you all is wonderful.

Like @funkyjudge Said, they are great irons and I'm currently gaming the Forged Tec X set and love them. For a players distance iron they offer plenty of forgiveness and the sound and feel are great. I would recommend anyone looking to get irons in the PD category to give them a try.

Good morning everyone!
After a couple of warm days this week it has decided to turn cold this morning. I'm just hoping it doesn't feel like they're trying to boil us in the plant.
It's community call day and I'm sad I won't be able to make it due to a doctor's appointment where I'm going to get them to look at a mole on my head. Keep Mrs Chunks in your thoughts because she's a nervous wreck.
I'm glad the weekend is almost here, hopefully I can get some practice time in. I saw some positives in my round last Tuesday and I want to keep the momentum going.
I hope y'all have a wonderful day!

I think for me it's people who won't let you play through our at least make you wait. I'm usually cognizant of players who are going skiing at a faster clip than I am and will let them go on ahead. I'm not against having to wait if it means I don't hold anyone up and I expect the same.
I tend to like to get in a rhythm on the course and don't like it too be interrupted by folks who are out there goofing off.

It's amazing how the grocery store can dictate what I'm going to smoke next. Went to Food City today and picked up a Boston Butt at $1.99/lb. I guess in two weeks it's going to be pulled pork.
Edit:
Just warmed up the meatloaf from last night paired with some roasted red potatoes.
