  1. Congrats guys! Look forward to hearing more about the various grinds vs other OEMs’ equivalents, especially the new ones for S159.
  2. Give me a 4 or 5 way all day over 14 way. I walk for probably 1/3 of my rounds, and even when riding and using rental sets with a 14-way bag I have found it annoying to put clubs in & out...picking the right slot and then making sure the grip doesn't grab and get stuck on the way down into the bag... I'm sure there are good 14 way bags out there that are light and solve for the stickiness issue, but I will never try them! OG Hoofers for life!
  3. It’s a tour version of TP Reserve B13 with the dot and some heavier weights. I love it - hope TM brings customization to that lineup soon because they really are a great product.
  4. While I wish the vintage series was fully milled like some of the rumors were positing, the look is definitely an improvement over the last release with the dark insert vs. the previous silver one IMO (though I would want to remove the score lines paint fill if I bought one). I hope they continue to gain traction.
  5. Just three flow neck blades for me, plus an old Spider mallet experiment that isn’t pictured
  6. I am actually partial to the prior blades that have been around for the last ~5 years but this version is no slouch and it looks like they may have gotten a touch friendlier as well...reasonable trade off if that is the case, though they are still above my pay grade... The CBs are knockouts too - feel like those are an improvement on what was already a great looking club! Did the tungsten go away in the CB long irons? Does anyone happen to know the blade lengths on these bad boys? The prior CBs felt a bit too squat for me at address in the long irons where I just want to hit as straight of a ball as possible. If they are still too squat, I'll be curious to see what the Dynapower forged look like for combo purposes...hopefully similar to these two beauties.
  7. I haven't played a Cobra driver since my F8+ but will be happy to throw this up against a few of the others in a fitting. It looks the best to my eye of the whole bunch.
  8. I think these look awesome! Haven't touched my woods in about 3 years so I may need to setup a fitting...
  9. I just realized it's December 14th and I haven't bought a new club yet this year. Doesn't feel right - will report back once I fix this.
  10. Catching up on this thread after a busy couple of weeks at work...fantastic job gents! I love reading the intros/fitting stories/conclusions (and appreciate that they are easily found/linked at the front of the thread). Also, great to see the group having such a positive experience with their sticks. The test itself is super cool but when the testers also get gamer sets for hopefully a long time it further validates the products and the experience IMO.
  11. If you have the e6 software package you can project to a screen to allow for full sim golf or just target practice.
  12. Anyone get a chance to hit these yet?
  13. The more I look at these the more I like them. Definitely going to test them out at some point soon. If they can get the 2021 X-forged CB feel into the tighter packaged Apex pros (at least the 6i and up that are all 1025 carbon), they will have hit a grand slam IMO.
  14. First I would go with the t200 2i, AKA the who am I kidding club. It has to be more forgiving than my dust-collecting P790 UDI... Then I would test for 3 different options: t200 4i, t150 5-GW t150 4-P + t100 GW t150 4-5 + t100 6-GW
  15. These look much more cohesive than the prior lineup. Curious to see how the new pros feel. In my fitting at the time I had great numbers with them, but I couldn't get along with the feel, and they didn't have a blendable lineup the way my eventual P7 series did.
  16. Can't say I need it but definitely want it... I do almost everything around the green with my 58m, and would be interested in the same grind at the 54 slot. But that's a lot of scratch so I'm gonna just do nothing and hope that the SM10 has a 54m option when my wedges actually need replacing!
  17. I always loved the irons only tests best, although I didn't appreciate the challenge when iron sets can start at a 6i... stuck at the office all week and then on dad duty all weekend but will be watching this one closely, enjoy gents!
  18. I got to roll a b11 this weekend. Can’t speak to the b31 other than it looks like a great version of a notchback. Some scattered thoughts: The milling looks premium; the sole and bumper milling is a great touch. They nailed the address look and topline. The styling is a bit understated which suits my eye… I don’t understand the R in the cavity, but what do I know… maybe we are all raving about our cool circle R putters in 5 years! Feel was very solid and a bit on the firmer side, in a good way for my taste. Still plenty softer than Ping Heppler line which is the firmest putter I think I can remember trying, but just a bit bit more crisp than most off the rack Camerons from the last decade, or Toulons, or most Odysseys, Evnrolls, etc… could be due to the topline being thinner than most OTR blades I’ve seen? I am in no way looking for a new putter to replace my Cameron Hollywood but this thing had me thinking... *I definitely have not tried everything out there, so take my feel impression with a grain of salt.* IMO it’s a strong B+ start; if they can use the MyTP customization on this line it becomes an A quickly.
  19. When you're right, you're right! In all seriousness, having a Full Swing KIT monitor on hand to do a full gapping with has confirmed some minor issues with my current setup. Minor, but juuusttt enough to nag at you if it doesn't take much to convince you to buy new things already! I have already picked up a TSR 2+ head to try and dial down spin/launch a bit vs, my TSi2 15*, and the gap between my p770 7i and p7mc 8i is just taunting me at this point, daring me to do a deep dive on a King Tour or T150 set.
  20. I am getting very excited for these...can't wait to see if black will be an option at launch. I shouldn't get my hopes up knowing Titleist's usual schedule, but I definitely am . The T150 looks like a great comp to the King Tour. I might be back in Titleist irons for the first time since my DCI days!
  21. I feel the same about my king forged CBs (2019 ed.). Cobra really knows what they are doing with their players irons. I don't think the broader crowd realizes they have a forging process very similar to Mizuno... As for this topic, I don't expect to ever use blade in anything stronger than an 8i. After playing my miniature CBs for three years and then switching to my current combo set about 18 months ago, I will take the forgiveness at the top of the bag all day, and can settle for minor bumps of that pured buttery feeling in my scoring irons only. Even if I moved down from my current 5-6HC to an unrealistic goal of scratch, I reckon I would never go blades, since I could always use a bit of forgiveness, and even if I wanted to be stubborn about it, I am a pretty high spin player and don't have the joints to handle the C Taper / PX LS shafts required to counter the higher spinning blades.
