    I am sure it will get sorted out. If anyone who sees these posts and you have added players from the "waivers" they will need to be dropped so that the process can be done properly and we will have to bid on them. It will end up being drop them yourself or they will likely get removed from your roster.

    👍I believe I had added a player from the “waivers”. I dropped him and submitted the claim the correct way.

    I posted a whole blowout in the commish slack on where we stand. Let me copy and paste.

    What a crazy end to Survivor we have going on! Here's where we stand.

    Studque: 2 strikes, can pick Cleveland, then out regardless of result

    Apollo: 2 strikes, can pick Baltimore, KC, Cleveland, Green Bay or Tampa, best remaining chance to make it through Super Bowl

    Bucky: 2 strikes, can pick Cleveland, New Orleans, and Green Bay, can get through Super Bowl with Browns help

    GB13: 1 strike, can pick Cleveland or Kansas City, cannot make week 21 pick.

    Is that really a hard decision for me? 😜

    Thanks guys! So everything is going well. Hopefully that continues.

    Happy Birthday @GB13!!  Hope it was a good one filled with birdies.

    It was more filled with snow than birdies, but it was still good!

    I had him for a few weeks too. Paid off for at least one week when Thomas was injured, but it looks like he might slow down a bit. Swapped him out for AB this week - might work out, or might be a terrible move, we'll see.

    You beat me to AB, he’s an all or nothing player, and with my team where it is, I needed the potential. 😆

    I will admit it took a little while to get use to the site and at first wasn't the biggest fan, but as I search through it and look around a little more I have learned it does have a ton of information and is pretty darn good, however it uses another site for a lot of its stats and such. Takes a bit, but overall starting to really enjoy it.

    Thanks! It’s taken me a while to get used to as well, but it is growing on me.

    Last I checked, fourth place was still better than fifth place.

    I came in dead last, thank you very much!

    If you ain’t first, you’re dead last.

    Here you go

    FUN TIME: PLEASE DON’T GIVE ME A PARTICIPATION TROPHY

    You are also a winner.

    Jokes aside, despite the final result you put a great deal of dedication to this challenge and should be proud of how you played.

    Participation trophies are for...

    Well, I can’t finish my thought on this forum without breaking some rules, but you know what I mean.

  7. So... I came in Dead Last... even losing to the guy who withdrew with 2 weeks left.

    That clearly wasn’t my best performance. Oh well, I still had a blast with this challenge. We’ve got so many great member who contribute to this thread year in and year out, too many to name, but y’all should know how much we appreciate you.

    Somehow, even with a significant swing rebuild, and coming in a verrrrrrrry distant last, I still managed to drop my handicap 1.4. That not nearly as much as our newly crowned champion @B.Boston, but it’s still very respectable.

    Baseline

    Coming into this challenge, my goals were;

    1. More Speed, Less dispersion. Doesn’t that sound like the magic formula to lower scores? Well, seeing as this is my first set of properly fitted clubs, I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility.

    2. I want the transition from player’s irons to player’s distance irons to be smooth. Sure, I’ll take extra distance, however, what I really want is more forgiving and accurate clubs that don’t sacrifice much playability. Cobra promises that with the Forged Tec,  and I’m super excited to see if they pulled it off.

    3. I’ll say it, Cobra wedges have been overlooked for years. I want them to live up to the quality of the rest of their line of clubs. I’m talking great feel, great versatility around the greens, good spin rates, and consistency on full shots. The MIMs are beautiful, now they just need to perform beautifully.

    Let’s answer these questions!

    1. My decent swings are certainly longer with the SZ, and the dispersion is the same as my old driver. So anytime you can pick up distance without losing accuracy is a win in my book.

    2. Welp, almost my entire handicap drop came from better approach play. Seriously, these irons a legit, try them out. I don’t think I need to say much more about that.

    3. Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. I’m in love with these wedges. I can’t say one bad thing about them, even my playing partners are saying how much better my chipping looks. And I’ve hit some Phil level Phlops with the 58°.

    Overall, I love the Cobra lineup. Minus some nit picky things here and there, I don’t have anything bad to say about it. Most of all, this has been an awesome challenge, and I can’t believe it is over already. Huge shoutout to my fellow competitors for making this such an amazing journey.

    Well....Even though I couldn't win I got in on the betting action (this is why I dont bet on sports) I went away from my boy @B.Boston and went with the dark horse @daviddvm ....Whooops!

    image.jpeg.630f39a4a12eacd1ebf7719add0e8920.jpeg

    Congrats to those betters this week that crushed it (lots of 100%ers there) and @golfish! for the new kicks!

    I think I had as much fun following this as you all did just playing. The beginning of this competition before everyone was selected was fantastic. In a time where I think we all needed a good laugh this entire group (not just competitors) delivered in removing our minds from the outside world.

     Start to finish the entertainment value was:

    image.jpeg.4b7e78ef219f335a615f83a346f4eb91.jpeg

    My favorite aspect of this competition was tight between WEEK 3 irons only and WEEK 7 IRL Alt shot.

    -Irons only strictly because it was a big turning point for myself realizing what I can do without a driver in my hand (if my putting is hot of course).

    -Alt Shot because while I always have fun playing a round with @B.Boston this was the first time we really assisted each other and got the best out of our skill sets. I also think that it is a great way to get members to meet and get out for what we all enjoy, Golf!

    I really wouldn't change much. I think a cool addition could be though is adding a round at the end of the competition where the competitors play 2 balls. 1 with old set 1 with the cobras just to see if an old fire could be rekindled, or if they were on the fence about which set they would be sticking with, could really settle the debate.

    Well I only see it fitting to finish up with what I think our competitors look like at the end (almost end) with who is arguably one of funniest actors ever Chris Farley:

    @edingc while he crushed reviews he  just struggled to get going on course (not bad either just couldn't put it all together):

    image.jpeg.bdc65d339a38c23b79ef11abcf5b46f9.jpeg

    @GB13 I said it once I will say it again, you crushed it kid. At your age never would have been able to do this never mind write a readable review. You had some spectacular rounds but this wouldn't be the CCC4 thread if I didn't rag on your age:

    20 Rib-Tickling Chris Farley Memes | SayingImages.com | Funny photos, Seriously funny, Funny pictures

    @Headhammer crushed reviews, was playing well and had some really good instagram media...almost the trifecta. While I am sorry you were unable to finish up (and a damn good reason not to be able to) I am still gonna rag on your injury, in good humor:

    Chris Farley Angry GIF - ChrisFarley Angry - Discover & Share GIFs

    @daviddvm got better and better every week. Great reviews and challenged my horse to the end, while we do not know who the winner is yet I hope the crown slips through your hands like this:

    image.jpeg.edb04694efe6381dbfbea49ff5b3fdbd.jpeg

    and finally @B.Boston I know your game and had the benefit of watching your game progress, just awsome. But the competition is over now so I hope your game goes like this so I can watch on and beat ya:

    image.jpeg.1f07bc091127a080ac2a7c32e46aa5ca.jpeg

    Cant wait to see all the final results. Its been a blast gents!

    Pfft, it wouldn’t be a CCC thread if someone didn’t rag on my age. It’s been a hell of a lot of fun. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it!

    My last question for the competitors (can add to your sum up too) what is the 1 club you wouldn’t give up. If you had to give them all back but 1 group whether it was just automatic or just out performed previous club? (driver, woods, hybrids, irons or wedges).

    the gambler in me wants to guess:

    @edingc wedges?

    @daviddvm the OL?

    @GB13 tough one I’m guessing driver or irons ? Only because you seemed to be launching the driver throughout

    @B.Boston wedges or wood?

    @Headhammer woods?

    Just my guesses from initial reviews

    58* wedge, then surprisingly the 3W. The flop shots I can hit with the 58° are absolutely amazing. Not to mention it is just automatically within 10-15 feet from 80 yards. The 3W because of the Baffler rails. I finally found one I can hit off the deck, and it’s nice.

    B.Boston Review Update:  MIM Black Wedges!

    I am going to update my original post, but figured I should share here too.  I was concerned about the MIM Black finish and how well it was going to hold up over the long run.

    I’ve used the 60* wedge 67 times on the course which includes several more bunker shots (including some muddy/rocky ones that I wasn’t too happy to be in...).  The wedge has help up VERY well and I think they will age gracefully.  The most impressive part to me is that there is very little to no wear on the sole of the wedge.  I am no longer concerned with the finish on these, if anything it seems like I’m going to need to really earn my character on these.

    Now Cobra, if you’re reading.... PLEASE make this in PW lofts too.  I would LOVE to add a 48* classic grind to my bag.  If you need a tester... you got my info! 😂

    This is interesting, I’ll need to post a photo of mine, but I’m seeing significantly more wear on my 54*. I’m not sure if it is due to the soil here being mostly clay, or what.

    Is Arccos similar to Shotscope with respect to having to take a practice swing or two with the chosen arrow in order to wake the system and capture the shot?  I'm still struggling to remember and do that.

    To add to what @edingc said, the system also uses your phones microphone to detect the sound of the ball being hit. Usually the system doesn’t mark practice swings (for me), because there is no sound. I’ve also had no real issues with Arccos detecting shots where I took no practice swing. I don’t get up and play at the break of dawn, so I’ve had no issues with there not being enough light.

    good luck!

    Yep, I played there for the first and only previous time last year (from the whites) and it’s a beast from there! It’s situated on an Indian reservation in the middle of nowhere. Its a beautiful setting, surrounded for miles by wide open rolling prairie. That said, it is maintained absolutely perfectly with super quick greens, and is 100% my favorite course. I’d say it’s an absolute must play if you’re in the area... but I’m not really sure why you would be.

    Seriously, check out this photo gallery which doesn’t even do it justice:

  12. Welp, that’s the worst round of the challenge for me... at this point, I’m deciding which screenshots of my “adventures” make the cut. Need to work on some consistency apparently...

    As many of you know I've been dealing with some severe elbow pain for a while and after conferring with my doctors, Chairmen @GolfSpy STUDque , Lexi Thompson and my family, it is with deepest regrets that I announce my withdrawal from the Cobra Connect Challenge. I want to thank Cobra Golf & My Golf Spy for the opportunity and I wish my fellow competitors best of luck as they continue through the final challenges. While I'm down, I'm not out and still have a few things to offer over the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled.

    Damn! Sorry to hear this! I hope you heal up quickly! You’ve done this competition proud.

    Hey still good shooting. Those greens are immaculate. Looks fast

    Yeah, they’ve really put a lot more effort into the greens this year, and it has paid off in some really nice rolling fast greens. Last year they were pretty much like playing Plinko.

  15. Well, I was pretty happy with my entry this week, but then I saw @Headhammer‘s darts, and then I was less stoked... Anyway, actual measurement was 4’8”, I’m sorry I didn’t get a pic with the tape measure like the other two. This was a not so  solid 8 iron that I caught off the toe, but sill flew very well. On the pin the whole way, it just needed to go!
