  1. Yes, forgiveness on chips and pitches is often overlooked on wedges. That's actually one of the top features I look for in a wedge. If it doesn't preform well when chipping it isn't worth using!

    Got Problems?

When moving, NEVER EVER, use ABF Freight. That is all.
  3. DO IT!! Can't pass them up at that price. And, if you really want talked out of it, you should've come somewhere else.
  4. Yeah, I think we need to call Homeland Security (or whatever y'all crazy Kiwi's have that is comparable, I'm too lazy to Google it.)
  5. That's a fun look to get. Also, do these have the Hydropearl finish? If so, how has it held up? That's been one of my chief complaints with my I200s, how easily they wear.
  6. Good, that definitely makes me feel better.
  7. WOW!!! That is legit. I might have to see if I can find one to demo somewhere.
  8. To be honest, knowing that no one on the plane has control of it, and that I'm relying on a program to land a plane makes it worse. I mean, I know flying is safer than driving, but it just seems unatural. It also doesn't help that my #1 fear is heights.
  9. Thanks, I didn't even notice! I guess I just get caught up in talking (some say too much) with y'all!
  10. I am not a great flyer. I do it when I have to, but I definitely don't enjoy it. Strangely my biggest mental hurdles are takeoff and landing. Once we are at cruising altitude I feel pretty safe, but I definitely have butterflies when landing and taking off.
  11. Wow, congrats Shanks! Couldn't have picked a better person to do this review!! I'm really curious about these as I love my I200 short irons but am not a huge fan of the long irons. Maybe a reverse combo set?!?! Now... about this 2 iron... I can't imagine how good it feels to flush one. I'm also happy to see PING making a 2 iron, as they are becoming harder and harder to find. (Yes, I know the modern day 4 iron is a traditional 2 iron, but now isn't the time for that discussion.)
  12. Wow, I'm the first to say I'm not a fan of Scotty's but these are reeeaaaalllllly nice looking.
  13. Umm, no. I told you it wasn't gonna happen in the pre-chatter thread, and for all your pontification, I was still right. That certainly qualifies as a dumb question.
  14. Been 3 weeks since I've played a full round and my front 9 definitely showed rust. Especially around the greens, I had 3 chips on one hole... Pretty happy with my round overall though, ended up +9 on the front, and -1 on the back for an 80. I had one of my best driving days ever, hitting 11-14 fairways. My putter was really cold until the 12th when I made a 6 footer to save par, and then the force field around the hole lifted, and I made 2 birdie putts form 20 feet and a few good par saves. Really gotta get my touch back around the greens.
  15. Was that picture of the really 58° after hitting off the rocks?!? That is incredible! I'd have been terrified to hit that shot, and probably wouldn't have.. That finish is !
  16. My bench has zero players playing, and I'd still probably have been better off playing a few of them.
  17. I agree. If I were going to make fake Camerons, I certainly wouldn't make a lefty putter since they are more difficult to sell. I'm also curious about your rationale behind thinking it could be a fake. If you got it from a reputable golf shop, I wouldn't worry about it. The easiest way to check might be to see if the head weight is consistent with the listed "stock" headweight. Usually counterfeit putters are much lighter than the listed weight.
