  2. I have a Garmin Approach that works wonders. If I am playing with people and they ask, I will tell them distances if they don't have a device. Or if they are slowing the pace, I will volunteer “my Garmin puts the distance to the middle of the green at about xxx yards.” By that point they see me using it and selecting clubs based on distance. It saves tons of time avoiding people searching for distance markers/ walking off distances etc. and these generally are “bogey plus” players.   3. I have an xe1wedge 65* - along with Volkey SM 5 50/54/58 wedges. Use the 65 to get out of green side bunkers - it's more effective than my 54* SW esp in soft sand. I also use it for higher grass areas around the green. It provides me more control. I follow the Peltz recommendation to write the 3 distances on a piece of tape on the shaft for his 10:30/9:00/7:30 backswing positions. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
