This would be the beginning of the end for the Ryder Cup. The future is the LIV vs PGA world series. Team and individual champions. Seems inevitable if they don't merge. At least if they want to make money.

Forget golf for the time being. If you get to play then fine, but the focus should be on the family for a while. You will figure it out. The world will not stop, and you will find some time but not much, which is what its all about. Enjoy your little family, playing games comes in a very distant second.

I do my own so I just do them whenever I feel they need to be changed. I have never worried about a break in, I just use them. Just do it after the end of the season so they are new and ready to go the next year.

Here in the south I need gloves in the summer. Sometimes its so humid I wear two. I have three that I rotate through during the round. I never take it off, even to putt. Good enough for Nicholas its good enough for me. Also, I forget to take it off a lot so I just leave it on lol

Wouldn't it be fun if there was something on the line for the players? Like losers shave their head. All for charity of course. But it would be fun to see some real stress.

Its probably because of the three sleeve pack, but also its a good number to practice with. Keeps things moving. And also because everyone else does it lol. I use Yellow ProV1x that are marked loudly to avoid mix ups.

True stuff. This however can be stopped. We can as a group put stop to this regressive change. The minority of overthinkers and fixers of the unbroken can be overruled. Ultimately, I do not think this will happen and those clutching their pearls because Rory is hitting the ball farther than they like can go on playing the regressive ball and leave the majority alone.

They are certainly out there now. Lead the way. Shouldn't be an issue. It is for the good of the game after all. lol

That was then this is now. This is regressive. It is stopping innovation. Golf may have been fine then, but now is a whole different ball game.

Interesting. I lock my elbows to my ribs and rock my shoulders to putt. No hand movement.

It will be interesting to watch the reaction of golf punching itself in the nuts.

Like it says........If you are for the roll back. At all. The rest of what you wrote has nothing to do with it. Its not wrong, it just is an entirely different subject.

It survived in part, because innovation helped push the game forward. That has always been a constant with golf, since the beginning. Golf now competes with the couch for this and likely future generations. Making the game harder/shorter/less fun to watch/do makes no sense. As an older golfer those few yards are a big deal to me. As such I personally find this absurd. For the game overall I find it ill conceived. I also believe it will not happen. Not with so many other more sensible options available. I suggest for all the players out there pushing for a shorter ball; You should spend the next few years playing the ball. Put in the work and let us all know how much better off the game is for it. By the time the rule is set to be used you all should have some great feedback. Put your game where your mouth is......or something like that lol

If you are for this rollback and playing now and don't pick up your ball and walk it backwards 7 yards after every shot you are being a hypocrite. If its that great for the game then do it now yourself. Show all of us how great it is. Otherwise stop trying to fix stuff that isn't broken, we get enough of that out of the current administration.

Having someone who knows the swing and YOUR swing can be invaluable. Great job adjusting on the fly!
