GT1885 got a reaction from KOG in Want to Buy/Want to Try - Maltby DBM iron (TT Score Shaft or equivalent Stiff Flex)
Good luck with this. I built a set of TE Forged about a year ago and I'm still playing them. As good as any big name iron and I've been playing for 40 years and considered myself to be a world class iron ho'.

GT1885 got a reaction from thechrisgibbs in Are there any anti-left hybrids?
I know it's probably my swing but my titleist hybrids (early model) hook like crazy (right handed golfer here). I don't have that problem hitting the equal in an iron so just hoping that there is a hybrid out there doesn't always make a hard left.

GT1885 got a reaction from srooch2 in Bridgestone J40 DP heads only 5-PW
I have a set of J40 DP heads in 5-PW. They are in very good condition. I bought them new many years ago and played them for one season. My season comprises a 12 hole round in the late afternoon each week for about 10 months.
I have included pictures of two of the soles which I consider to be the most marked of the set. They are truly in very good condition.
$230.00 + $18 shipping CONUS.

Thanks to all who responded here. You've given me alot to think about this spring.
One of the the hybrids is an adjustable Titleist.

GT1885 got a reaction from Kenny B in Heavier Graphite Iron Shafts in R flex
Kenny, It's only because I've played with heavy steel shafts for 40 years, I guess. When I first started thinking I wanted to transition to graphite, I bought a set of irons from Callaway Preowned that had Recoil (don't remember weight) but in F3 flex. I sent them back after a week but they just didn't feel right. I guess I'll just have to experiment and then just commit to a lighter weight and then get used to it. Thanks for the suggestion.

GT1885 got a reaction from revkev in Forgiving 2 year old Driver Tech - In search of new driver
Cost is a factor but only in that I believe there isn't that much difference in the evolving technology that I can benefit by. I've hit enough drivers over the years that I've come to the believe that unless I can hit the true sweet spot more often than not, then these "higher tech" drivers won't benefit me. I first came to this conclusion with the first SLDR and the Fly Z with the weight up front. AT this point in my golfing life. I'm only looking for forgiveness which I guess comes with higher spin.
I'll look in to True fit. Thanks for the suggestion.
