Thanks for all the input. I am actually doing it for my brother who doesn't swing very fast and doesn't want to spend a bunch of money. I have an old set of Prostaff irons that I am pulling the shafts out of for it.

Anyone have any experience putting a .370 graphite iron shaft in a .355 hosel? Thinking I can just carefully sand it down. Thoughts?

You could also try some wd40 if you can get the straw between the shaft and grip. I have done that before.

So I have hit it a few times in the simulator since Iowa weather has not cooperated with me when I have free time to get out to the range. Putting it up against my Cleveland Launcher I am seeing about a 5-10 yard gain. Again that is in a simulator that is not using the latest tech but it feels really solid. I am glad I went with the heavier shaft. Feels like I can get the head started on the correct plane and keep it there.

So I went ahead and bought the 450 driver. It is slightly bigger than my Cleveland Launcher but I am anxious to test it out. Will have to do some indoor test this winter since Iowa weather is not great right now for testing outside.

Looking for some opinions here. Currently I am playing a 2006 Cleveland 460 Launcher amd looking to replace it. I found the TW-737 drivers at a really good price online but nobody in my area carries them to test. Was thinking about going with the 450 with the VizardA 70 gram shaft. Since I like the look of a smaller head at address. Does anyone have opinions on these drivers from previous tests? How will it compare to my 460 Launcher with an Aldila Green NV shaft?

I also went to the Golfworks and built the MMB17 heads. They replaced a set of Cleveland CG2s. I bought the standard iron pak and only paid around $300 for them. Had them all built within a day.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question but here we go. I have been drawing my driver more than I want to and don't have an adjustable driver. I was thinking about putting lead tape on the tow and seeing what would happen. Has anyone else done this? What other issues am I going to create by doing this since I know it will change the head weight?

I gave my 3 wood to my brother because he hit it better than I did and he ends up with most of my used clubs. Now I just carry a driver and a 3 hybrid that looks like an old school fairway wood and haven't missed the 3 wood at all.

I put a kids putter in my son's hands when he was 2 and we would putt the ball back and forth on the living room rug. He is 5 now and has his own set of clubs. We go to the range at least once a month together and hit foam balls in the yard when ever he asks. I just ask if he wants to go hit balls. If he says yes we go. If he says no we do something else. I don't force it on him because I want him to love the game as much as I do someday and hopefully grow the MSG family by 1.

Looks like Lamkin makes a similar one. Or you might try calling Golf Works and asking if they still have some or the Maltby oversized paddle (which is the same I think). Sometimes they say they are out on the website but if you call they will still have a small inventory.

Regular grip on a CB putter

Just got a Cleveland Huntington Beach Soft putter for Christmas in 34" but it has the stock counterbalance grip on it and I don't like large grips so I am wanting to put a Grip master traditional style grip on it. Is this going to change the way it plays?
