Phoenix AZ (home of PING)
This is an interesting opportunity. I have found it difficult to fill the top end of my bag. Wedges are a dime a dozen, and yes these are necessary for scoring. But I have been keeping detailed analytics of my own game for several years. It is the the long game that keeps our scores up - out of bounds, tops, duffs, behind a tree, water and sand off the fairway, lame approaches on long par fours. These problems lead to penalty shots and drops from hazards that really add up for us non-pros.
My bag has some holes at the top end due to my club speed (98ish). Longest iron is a six - two hybrids, a 3W and a driver. Recent retirement has left me with plenty of time to document, test and analyze these clubs in this test. I have played Ping clubs most of my life, and would like the chance to play them again.
Current setup (long game)
Epic driver - TM M2 3w - Ping G20 hybrid - Callaway apex hybrid
Irons - Apex Wedges Ping Putter - Ping
club speed (98ish)
Thank you for the opportunity
