  1. I saw that and have looked through there stuff there are for sure will be going that route. And yes back when I first started running in them my calves were on fire for about 3 months straight
  2. Been rocking barefoot style for about 13 years now and feels great. Usually in Merrell trail gloves just so they last longer. Looking at the True Linkswear as well (might have posted about them earlier but maybe not). They look great and I agree would like to align the style.
  3. Good morning all! Another fine day yesterday with more playing in the snow for the kids and more working on building reports for me. I also got our storage closet cleaned up at least a bit as it was in really rough shape. Today will more more of the same, though a few less meetings which always improves the day. Have a great Wednesday everyone!
  4. Congrats on the milestone and thank you for all your work here to keep this place running.
  5. My youngest favorite dish right now is a pumpkin red curry we make which is funny because the two older kids won't even look at it. Add that to the list for the little of along with mushroom and bean risotto and pad thai
  6. Wishing you the best of luck in what comes next and that treatment is swift and effective
  7. Congrats testers looking forward to reading through your reviews as you get to test these putters.
  8. Congrats everyone and looking forward to the test!
  9. Good morning all! Wishing the best of luck for your @sirchunksalot and hope the kids sleep and maybe some guinea hens are in order to eat those ticks @GolfSpy_APH. Here we are playing in the massive snow banks. Currently have 4 tunnels build along the driveway and I am sure the kids will build more today and might be getting a ski in as well. Going to be warm and raining on Thursday so the snow is already moving on with good speed. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
  10. Thats awesome news and can't wait to hear more. I was hoping to get out there very soon but 20 inches of snow put a slow down in there. But a bit south got less so hopefully they open back up soon and I can get back to it.
  11. Good morning all! Well it was a long weekend that pushed us back into winter. We got 20 inches of snow, and some places near us got 26 while I think the high spot was about an hour away at 32 inches. So back to skiing we go for a bit. Still won't last too long given how long the days are now and how much stronger the sun light is. Got to see some friend yesterday and hangout with good conversation which is always a nice time. Back to work this morning for another usual week of work. Have a great Monday everyone!
  12. So sorry to hear about that and for your loss.
  13. Good morning all! Quieter day yesterday, though was as windy as advertised and that will continue today as we get the snow @rkj427 is talking about tomorrow instead of today. Looking like 4 to 8 inches. Things likely will not last long but getting that usual late March snow storm that we seem to get every year. Have a contractor coming this afternoon to give us the quote for the addition the wife and I have been talking about. He is known for being very reasonable but I am still sure it will be a lot. With the snow Saturday will likely be another quiet at home day but maybe get one last cross country ski in on Sunday. Have a great weekend everyone!
  14. Good morning all! Woke up to a couple inches of snow, and there is supposed to be more on Saturday. Here's hoping it is not too much and it melts quickly. Also supposed to be cold and windy the next couple days already making me feel better about getting those trees taken down. Otherwise should be a quieter day and hopefully we all get some time to relax. Congrats @GolfSpy_APH on getting added to the HQ page! Have a great Thursday everyone!
  15. @Dead Solid Bogey @Erin B @BreakfastBall15 Wish you all the best on the medical front all around.
  16. Good morning all! Had a nice day yesterday though it was a bit busy with my wife having a friend stop by and then my father-in-law dropped in as well for a bit. Hoping our middle child is feeling OK as she feel asleep about an hour earlier than normal, but might just have been a very tired day. Today is another busy one with work and continued tree clean up. Supposed to be a bit warmer than yesterday. Should be a great day! Have a great Wednesday everyone!
  17. First don't beat yourself up bounce and grind on wedges can get complex and there is not really a correlation between the two. You can have a high bounce wedge with a narrow sole and a low bounce wedge with a wide sole and more. So bounce is the angle of the wedge as it relates to the leading edge. Essentially the more bounce the more the club with tend to skip/glide through the turf versus lower bounce tends to dig in more. Generally golfers find more bounce to be easier to use and offers a bit more forgiveness if you don't hit the ball clean the lack of digging will keep the strike solid. The grind is about how the sole of the club is shaped. I have the the S, W, and T grinds in my 3 PING Glide 4.0 wedges. the S grind is what they call a standard sole. It is about the same width all the way through and a medium width overall. Good for more straight face shots but can be opened a bit. the W is it might imply wide, again its a pretty consistent width just wider than the S with more bounce. Again will be good for straight face shots. Finally, for the ones I have is the T, the thin sole. The sole is thinner and have a bit of heel and toe relief which means the flat part of the sole is thinner at the heel and toe. This makes it easier to open the club up if you want to hit more a flop from a tighter lie. This also has the lowest bounce. The E I don't have but its modeled as the PING Eye 2 wedge. Near the hosel the wedge is thin to slide through sand easier, there is a very high toe to the club and the sole actually has an indent to it for turf interaction. So there are a lot of options here and there are other things to consider. Generally in wet conditions more bounce helps you from digging into the softer turf, and in dry firm conditions you want less bounce so you can actually dig in a bit. Also how you deliver the club changes the bounce. If you lean the shaft forward you are taking off loft and bounce, and then adding loft and bounce if you lean the shaft back. PING has the Wedge fit tool that can help that will recommend their new wedges but you should see the same options in the Glide 4.0. https://wedge.webfit.ping.com/en/ Also here is a quick write up on bounce from Vokey, https://www.vokey.com/explained/wedge-bounce#
  18. Unsurprisingly in NH it takes a bit to get things going. Usually by mid-April things are rolling, though this year a course a bit south of here is opening tomorrow but it will be in consistent with some cold days still to come. But I might actually be able to get a round in before March is out which you just can't beat.
  19. Congrats testers. Looking forward to hearing about these and how they work for you.
  20. Good morning all! Fine day yesterday with some decent weather, unfortunately the only reason I got out was to continue the tree cutting clean up. Getting there but still a good little ways to go. Kids did some research and found some historical maps from around 1919 when our large ash tree first started growing. Though bit of a lost magic day after that as our oldest busted up the Santa, tooth fairy, and Easter bunny. Thankfully he took it really well and actually found it very funny that I was the one who was going in to take his teeth. Still keeping the fun for his sisters. Kids is growing up too fast. Have a great Monday everyone.
  21. Thanks and nice to have a fellow runner around here. Unlike many I enjoy my runs and when I am in good running shape I feel the best. Not there yet but maybe some day again.
  22. I think we all agree, given the MGS testing results a PING G430 MAX 10K should be the one. Thank you for all you do!
  23. Things have really gotten on a roll here. After a short vacation where I managed to maintain which was the goal. Things are moving back down. Running still, 3 to 4 days a week but got my desk treadmill back working for the off days so I can put in 3 hours and about 7.5 miles while I work to keep things moving. Eating has been the biggest thing though, getting back to the more thoughtful and plant based diet really helps. Also this weekend we had some trees cut down that I not get to stack so 2 to 3 hours of that the past couple of days has been some good working as well. Down about 10 lbs so far. Looking to keep things rolling this week!
