  1. Well you should have told me that earlier I have already arranged quite the protest up here. Lots of politely but sternly worded signs from many Vermonters were being made.
  2. I can try not sure they will listen. What are we fighting for, do I need some sights and banners to make the point?
  3. We are heading to a friends near Burlington VT up this way for the kids, as it will be very cool to be in the total darkness of it.
  4. Been a bit since a check in. @Shrek74 Love the under desk treadmill I have one as well and break it out when I know I can't get anything else for a workout for the day. @FallenSaber great run, and love when you get faster and the run comes out of now where, just a feeling of accomplishment. On my personal front have been getting runs in and working to keep up the mobility and body weight work. Eating has been the biggest thing. Have gotten much better and kept it up well the past month or so. Down about 10 lbs in about 5 weeks and had my physical yesterday with no issues or follow up needed which is always a win (have had high BP in the past). Great seeing everyone's work!
  5. Great news about your sister and wish her the best in recovery
  6. Good morning all! Unexpected day off yesterday due to not having power for about 12 hours due to the snow and wind coming through here. Thankfully the snow was lighter than expected only about 4 inches instead of the 12 that was predicted. Kids still enjoyed some snow and we had a bit of a snowball fight which was fun. Now just one more day until the weekend! The DF3 testing has me thinking, might want to try what all the fuss is about. @Fongle I am so sorry to hear and hope you get some time to connect, @Dead Solid Bogey good luck with your medical trials and tribulations, and @sirchunksalot hope you are feeling better. Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!
  7. Great to have you joining the forum and I grew up in Nashua about half a mile from NCC. Only ever played there once when I was in high school. But I would run by there all the time and as a kid I would sled down the big hill close to the road. Still come down to visit family but now live further up north. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about all sorts of topics. Also good luck on your PGM program and hope it all goes well.
  8. I thinks mostly here in the US. No golf but travelling to a friends that will be in the path of totality, and closer to the middle. Should be pretty cool.
  9. The local indoor sim place closest to me uses the Uneekor QED and it is a serviceable product. You really need to use their dotted golf balls to get reasonable spin numbers and the ones that come with the system are cheap 2 piece balls. There are sticker packs you can buy to mark up your own ball which would be good. That plus there are stickers you can put at the top of your club to help club data. I need to get those and see how much more consistent the numbers are. As one might expect there are a couple odd numbers from time to time, but overall the system is good and fun for a sim round. They also connect it to GS Pro software so it has some great courses and nice graphics. Not sure about the native software.
  10. Good morning all! @Preeway my condolences on your loss, its always hard no matter how much you try to prepare. @sirchunksalot great news on the biopsy front @Rob Person stay safe 4:30 am is a bit of a dangerous time for a tornado Yesterday was a nice day with lots of sun, and the kids were outside for about 8 hours yesterday which ended with a fire for about 3 hours while they played in the yard. Its was one of those days where they came in right when it was time to head to bed. Also all the wood I split from last year is nice and dry and burned great which is awesome. Now between this evening and tomorrow it is predicted that we will get a foot of snow. I am all set for this to be done, and should be in the 60s in a couple of days later so hopefully it melts quickly. Have a great Wednesday everyone!
  11. Come on up here and if you are looking for some campground recommendations let me know we have done a number around here.
  12. Congrats testers and hope these shoes are as good as advertised.
  13. Good morning all! First @EnderinAZ good luck with the surgery and hope you have a speedy recovery, and @GolfSpy_APH hopefully the vet goes smoothly our dog is getting older and i worry about what comes next. @GolfSpy_BEN congrats on the new role and glad it went well. I only dream of changing jobs if it somehow involves more golf or being more golf related. My son loved his roller skates that we got him and get went to a small neighborhood around here and played with a friend where he could give them a go and he loved it. He got a bit tired and switched to the bike, but it was fun. I am even thinking I might need a pair. Could be fun to get out there and give it a go. Might need to check the thrift store. Was hoping to sneak in the first 9 of the year today but work will not allow it and starting tomorrow we are getting another foot of snow so its gonna be another few days before I can get out there to play. But should be 60 plus next week. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
  14. Congrats testers and looking forward to hearing how this goes for you!
  15. I have said it before and I will say it again, thank you all for the hard work that the forum staff puts in to keeping this place running and growing!
  16. Congrats on the great milestone and here's to many more posts!
  17. Good morning all! Had a busy weekend seeing family for Easter and for my son's birthday which was great. He had a nice time seeing everyone and he enjoyed his cake and brownie concoction frosted with homemade maple cream (let me tell you that was some hard work stirring that up). Another day here with some work and maybe taking my son out on his new roller blades from his birthday. Have a great Monday everyone!
  18. I hope you wife has a speedy recovery.
  19. Good morning all! We have reached the end of another busy week. Both older kids went to play at some friends houses and I did grocery shopping with our youngest ahead of a busy weekend. My sons birthday is Sunday so trips to see both sets of family this weekend. Though to kick off the weekend he has requested stuff crust pizza so will be attempting a homemade version of that this evening which will need some luck. Just need to get through one more work day. Also belated happy birthday to @CFreddie and @Preeway. Hope they were good days! Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!
  20. Congrats on both the promotion and the new station. Good luck on the home sale, at least around here things are still moving all right. Here's hoping that your expecting to be in Hawaii for years but you get many more.
  21. Good Thursday morning all! Rainy day here, thought it will really help melt the remaining snow which is needed. Usual work day though has been a light meeting week so far which should keep rolling here which is great. Kids have music and other school activities for the day. Should be a fine day overall. Have a great day everyone!
  22. I saw that and have looked through there stuff there are for sure will be going that route. And yes back when I first started running in them my calves were on fire for about 3 months straight
  23. Been rocking barefoot style for about 13 years now and feels great. Usually in Merrell trail gloves just so they last longer. Looking at the True Linkswear as well (might have posted about them earlier but maybe not). They look great and I agree would like to align the style.
  24. Good morning all! Another fine day yesterday with more playing in the snow for the kids and more working on building reports for me. I also got our storage closet cleaned up at least a bit as it was in really rough shape. Today will more more of the same, though a few less meetings which always improves the day. Have a great Wednesday everyone!
