  1. Good morning all! Looking forward to another nice day. Work meetings are lighter today which is always a plus. Kids will have their usual routine for the day to get themselves going. Not much going on otherwise here as another week rolls on. Have a great Wednesday everyone!
  2. When we bought our van a few years back we almost went down to Mass to buy it but then heard how hard it would be to do that given the differing registration laws. The dealership near our house ended up getting it up here for us and we bought it from them. Made things so much easier.
  3. Congrats to the testers, hope you they help you knock down more putts soon!
  4. Welcome both @Riley24 and @Box3_53 happy to have another couple NH folks in here. I live up the Owls Nest way myself and play there a couple times a year. Look forward to what you folks bring to the forum. Hoping this sunny weather keeps slowly melting the snow up here.
  5. I know this is usually @GolfSpy_APH territory but I wanted to plug @GolfSpy AFG's article on the main site today. I know he knows way more about fitness than myself and always good to get a good set of reminders. https://mygolfspy.com/news-opinion/accomplishing-your-golf-fitness-goals/
  6. I agree if they can get this integrated with other monitor data could really increase the utility. If you could match the data up to a launch monitor and say force plates you are not quite at a true Gears system with all the motion capture but you are pretty close which would be cool to see.
  7. Good morning all! Had a great time skiing with the kids last night though the snow is still a bit icy from the freeze thaw cycle we had last week but getting better and hopefully the colder weather this week will help some more. Another kinda busy day with meetings but hopefully my last one to close out the day end early. Now to get my grading started for today. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
  8. Totally agree and that is what I felt when trying the 18Birdies functionality it was fascinating but it felt like it would put everyone in a box and golf swings can work in a number of different ways depending on matchups and everything else. Still interesting to see on the pros
  9. https://golf.com/instruction/cbs-broadcast-optimotion-technology/ Not sure if anyone saw this on the broadcast but I missed it. This looks similar to what 18Birdies launch awhile ago and I am sure GolfTec has been using for a while before it was put on TV. I think this could be really interesting and seeing the differences with Jason Days swing from 2015 to now likely mostly due to his back issues. I think it could help highlight the things pro do the same versus what is different and how sometime a couple quirks if you do them consistently and matchups work then you can still produce a consistent swing and play at the highest level.
  10. Good Monday morning all! Had a nice weekend with the kids on Saturday as my wife went to a yoga retreat which was fun, the kids did some sledding in the yard which is always fun. Yesterday turned into a busy one with a couple of friends coming over and kids getting to play with some local friends it was a blast. Also made a delicious tofu noodle dish for dinner. Diving into another busy day with kids skiing this evening, but wouldn't have it any other way. Have a great day everyone?
  11. Not a problem here in NH on the tax part but sounds like a sweet deal.
  12. We have contemplated getting one ourselves but first we have some home work to do. Kids are getting a bit cramped but I feel a near empty nest purchase many years from now sounds about right
  13. Like a treadmill for swimming, not sure I could stand that when those comfy jets are just waiting right there for me
  14. Good morning everyone! Looking forward to the weekend ahead, just need to get through some work to get there. We also have gotten a dusting of snow this morning that will need a quick shovel but nothing that should take too long. Wife has some plans this afternoon/evening so the kids and I will hang out which is always fun. As for the weekend not sure what it will hold but I am sure we will find something to do. Have a great Friday and weekend all!
  15. Happy Thursday everyone! Was a fine valentines day, very busy and today is more of the same. Time to get into work and knock some things out. Have a great day all!
  16. So I actually use a btrand called Crazy Richards as even the PB Fit Powder has some sugar added which I try to skip generally and they don't have the PB Fit Pure Peanut which I see on there site is the same thing. My go to smoothie recipe is as follows 1 frozen banana 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 1 cup spinach 1 cup water/unsweetened oat milk 1 tbsp ground flax seed 2 tbsp cocoa powder 2 tbsp to 1/4 cup nuts (usually walnuts buts also cashews or almonds depending on what we have) 1/4 cup PB pwder 3 oz silken tofu (some times, have been skipping it lately)
  17. There are no gates at my course but I have been there before anyone else that works there many times. I like you style
  18. Oh sorry never done one figured since it was a real course I could look it up, and it anything given the system I was on I should get more strokes. A couple time I hit wedges that the system somehow read as having 2500 spin that cleared the green by 20 yards
  19. Date 02/14/2024 Course Name LACC North Gross Score 77 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 6 Net Score to Par 6 Net Score 77 Net Birdies or better 6 Longest Drive 291 SIM Round? SIM
  20. Happy Wednesday all! Started my morning with a trip to the sim and had a nice sessions with some practice and playing a few holes. It was a nice way to start the morning. Otherwise a pretty normal Wednesday. Will have a nice dinner with the wife for Valentines day but nothing over the top. Have a great day everyone!
  21. Just want to make sure you know this is not a contest, but a testing opportunity. Those selected are expected to engage here in the thread and provide a write up on their experience that we can all benefit from. @GolfSpy_APH has a wonderful thread where he outlines what the mod team looks for in a tester. I started coming here just for the tests, but never got picked either. Then I poked around, posted in some threads, and after about a year of that I got selected for my first test and it was indeed a big commitment. Hopefully you can find something you are interested in and can start sharing your thoughts, I know we all would love to have another member join in our on going conversations.
