  1. A set of Maltby KE4 Max irons with Xcaliber RT (rapid taper) shafts.
  2. I joined a club because the membership is reasonable ($1200/yr. single) and it's unlimited golf with a cart. I play over 100 rounds a year and if you figure about $50/18 holes I'm saving a bunch. Then the owner of our course has bought 3 other courses and I can play those for nothing being a member here. Yeah, I like to see other courses but ours is one of the better ones around and there are other percs like 10% off on clubs, balls etc. And his prices on those are as good as you can find online. And all the friends you make and golf with is what it's all about.
  3. A Tour Edge E723 driver. Like it but I'm still looking for a shaft to make it better.
  4. My birthday consists of golfing all day. Thanks for the post.
  5. We agree on golf balls. These are the best balls going for the price.
  6. They're not that great of a savings. I quit buying them years ago.
  7. I have a golfing buddy who keeps us laughing. Before teeing off there was this guy with a big beer belly and a nice shirt. My buddy says "nice shirt, where did you get it?" The guy answered and my buddy says "Oh, I thought you got it in the maternity section". Everyone around us cracked up including the guy with the beer gut.
  8. I played for almost 2 months last summer with it. I found using the things below help and also using biofreeze, icy hot etc really helped. Amazon.com: OTC Band-It, Forearm Band, Compression Strap for Tennis Elbow for Elbows, White : Health & Household
  9. Wisconsin, about 30° F and had to dig out yesterday and still coming down.
  10. I'm 75 but still hit the ball 230+ off the tee. And I'm a 9 handicap. That's from the gold tees. If I play good why should I still have to play the white tees? I work hard at my game and others my age don't. We play from the tees we want and no one says a word. We enjoy the game. I wish some of the young beginners would play the shorter tees. They all go back to the blacks (or blues) and hit it 150 yards two fairways over.
  11. These are my tees. They are awesome. Always same height. Flex-Head G3-175 Drive Tee - Flex-Head Tees ©
  12. Xcalibur Mystic or Avalon. Absolutely the best shaft for the money. They come in different weights then those bellow. https://xcalibershafts.com/collections/avalon-series/products/avalon-5-wood https://xcalibershafts.com/collections/mystic-series/products/mystic-5-wood These replaced a Tensei AV Blue 55
  13. Spikeless. No changing those damn spikes and the traction is just fine. They wear out just buy a new pair.
  14. I always wanted a C-130 cart bag and a couple years ago finally got one. I loved it. But then all the threads at the bottom of the full length dividers came out letting the clubs go past the bottom and snarl all up like a bag without dividers. Then the zippers started going to hell. I've had Ogio, Ping, Titleist and other bags that this same stuff happens to and now have a Callaway Org 14 bag. So far so good.
  15. Two Oaks North GC in central Wisconsin (God's country). See link to golf course info. Two Oaks North Golf Course | Wisconsin Golf Courses | Wisconsin Public Golf (20+) Two Oaks North Golf Course | Facebook
  16. If you're old (I'm 75) and still hit the ball 230-260 yards (90's swing speed) the Project X Cypher 50 shaft in 5.5 flex can't be beat. I've got it in my Epic Max and I'm always in the fairway and hit it longer then any 75 year old has a right to. Cypher Graphite Golf Shafts | True Temper Sports
  17. I bought a Callaway Epic Max at the end of last year and love it. I bought a Stealth this spring and was disappointed. Epic is much more forgiving. Traded the Stealth for a new bag and wedge. Hitting the snot out of the Epic.
  18. I "blow on" my grips with air so if I wear out a grip I can change it in 5 minutes. Seems to work like a champ. Anyone else?
  19. I built a 50" chest putter years ago and putted lights out with it. When they changed to not letting you anchor it I went back as that to me was the advantage to it. Bernhardt still uses it and I'm betting he anchors it. How can you tell?
  20. I had the first version in one of my past drivers and I liked it.
