  1. I completely agree on all counts... I am the type that loves to go out to the very scenic courses for the views and quite contemplation (which now sometimes gets less contemplative with some folks playing their loud music on the course [emoji2955]). Unfortunately, just this week I found out that my favorite local course that I love because of its scenic Vistas and views of the Columbia River Gorge is being remodeled from an 18-hole course to only 9-holes and a new 18-hole putting course. Fail. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  2. Yowza! Sorry about your finger... But I can totally see how it might affect your yardage. Do you think that perhaps you might subconsciously be easing off part of your swing as to not re-injure it?
  3. Dave - What model Bushnell are you using and how do you like it? Thx
  4. Galynne Davis - Portland, OR Currently use a Samsung Gear watch with the app Golf Pad (pro version) with correlating Watch app. It provides GPS, yardage (tho wonky sometimes and the Bluetooth between watch and phone is questionable so have to keep phone in back pocket anyway so was also thinking about getting a scope)
  5. Greetings from Portland! How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? Been playing since I was 4 or 5 years old...parents had a 4wood and a putter cut down for me. Current handicap is about 12 What do you love about golf? I love being out on gorgeous golf courses - the peacefulness and quiet ( with the occasional "F O O R R E E") What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? Always reading the reviews and articles on upcoming gear! Where are you from? What is your home course? Portland, OR - Love all of the local course - especially mountainous areas...Skamania, Indian Creek (Hood River), The Reserve, but really too many fave's to list! What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The view...is the best! Sometimes drainage can be a problem. What do you do for a living? Am a Sales Engineer for Int'l carrier. How’d you pick your user name? Have used it for years...cannot even remember now!
  6. Loved this article and I am getting about to that time of needing to replace the grips on my irons. Currently using GP MCC4 aligns on woods and on my irons are Super Stroke S-Tech grips on my irons (came on my new irons). I have been surprised that I've liked the S-Techs, but they are comfortable. Despite the price tag for these No-1 UN's, I am now seriously going to consider them due to their long life. I was thinking about Lambkin Dr-Tec's or going go to GP aligns, but this article has me thinking.....

  11. Galynne from Portland, OR Have some Sun Mountain, Puma, and Foot Joy gear but was actually reading other Galway Bay reviews cuz planning Scotland and then A Brandon Dunes trip. Worst weather was in High School... Our State Golf Championship was the days of rain coming down sideways at Three Rivers Golf Course, Kelso, WA... Just miserable. Kept plugging balls and making play so damned slow.
