Good morning on an I am posting earlier than Jason @sirchunksalot Monday in WNY, plenty of rain as I woke up and looks like it is hanging around with us most of the day on and off hot coffee is just right on this zero commute day before the Federal holiday tomorrow putting in the time so others can be away and the job gets done for our Veterans. 6pm tee time that will probably be able to be started much earlier as most golfers around here will cancel in lieu of a better weather day for golf, hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning MGSpies from a humid summer day already well before mid-day in WNY Chai Black in the mug this morning as my often Sunday AM switch from the daily grind (see what I did there?) and catching up on Forum posts the PGA HOPE Down Range at Stafford CC was again lightly attended but with an awesome group, Head Pro Eric Haile extended hospitality and service beyond expectations and we only had 3 playing groups but had most of the course to ourselves. No golf on the plan for today besides Forum and hope everyone has golf as a part of your day
Congratulations again to @CSiders12 for the start of one of life's grandest adventures

Good morning MGSpies on a sunny warm summer WNY first day of July coffee doing its thing and then family band practice to get ready for next week's open mic at a local neighborhood bar with FIL and his brothers. PGA HOPE Down Range event at Stafford CC this afternoon and like Robert hope to finish my Virtual Tour 18, but it will probably be scramble so... maybe not. Hope golf is a part of your day

No golf for me today. Rainy day here in Eastern Iowa and unfortunately, rain tomorrow morning as well. My wedding is tomorrow, so family coming into town as well, so lots of stuff going on. Wanted to get out and play golf to keep my mind at ease. Hoping to at least get out to the range to get some work in. Fingers crossed for good weather tomorrow for the big day! Have a great Friday everyone!
Congratulations on becoming one of the band of brothers who have a MyGolfSpouse who is also SWMBO, not predicting anything of course and nobody is happier for you than me after 34 years with the same lovely woman. As members of your extended family, we expect to be regaled with tales of the magnificent day and photos to further witness the joyous event as your golf community here looks forward to once again hear the exploits of your prowess on the golf course!

Beautiful & Hot Central Florida morning. Already 81 degrees and on 2nd cup of coffee.
Yesterday was a tough day for our family, mother-in-law passed after a 6 yr battle with Alzheimers. My wife & her sisters have been her caretakers, sharing responsibilities & were absolutely amazing! Hospice provided great guidance & their people are amazing! Alzheimers is a terrible disease. We were thankful we could care for her in our home & blessed she raised great children! Today is a weird but beautiful day! Thanks for this Good Morning thread! Have a Great Weekend Everyone!
Like so many things in life it is bittersweet when one chapter ends and another begins. The challenges met and removed from the daily routine requiring adopting new ones. There is always good in everything and it is wonderful to see your focus is as it should be, everyone has peace with the end of her battle and what a powerhouse of women your family has to rally around whomever needs their love. Thankful for your sharing and the strength you convey to the community as part of what we know as your energy you contribute so often. Have a blessed and joyful weekend with everyone my friend

Good morning to my fellow MGSpies on the last Friday of June on golf planet Earth coffee helping to speed this zero commute day on its way already an hour into the effort, after work yesterday started with the Community Call then dropped off to get to the 5pm tee for 9 holes under a blazing sun without a smell of smoke in air. Nothing spectacular until the 5th par 4 with a second shot from the hybrid as good as the driver tee shot to be on in 2 for par. No golf apart from Forum in the plan for today but the next PGA HOPE Down Range day is tomorrow at 3pm at Stafford CC with fellow graduate Veterans. Hope golf is a part of your day

Was glad to hear Matt with how well he played at his tournament because I shot a 50 today, only one par and all the rest doubles, could not save myself from getting a double even on a not too difficult putt awesome seeing everyone there and it really is a marvelous time to check in.

Good morning MGSpies on this Community Call Thursday from beautiful WNY hot coffee starting the zero commute day in the warm basement office (complete opposite of winter in EPland as SWMBO had the a/c cranking overnight) Smoke from fires elsewhere had air quality low enough to cancel the PGA HOPE session last evening and it smells like the campfire is directly upwind but it is everywhere across the region, perhaps the iconic event of 2023?

Good morning MGSpies from a cooler wetter WNY than in previous weeks. Yesterday's bands of heavy thunderstorms let up by evening having delivered inches of water when passing by and golf was capped at 8 holes finished, at 44 on the card with the 9th and the rest of a full 18 unplayed as we retired to escape the free flowing torrents of runoff down the fairways of the Hill Course at Chautauqua Golf Club. Sounds like @Lacassem had the storms pass through his neck of the woods too, thunder shirts work for our corgis for calm in heavy weather. Today has a shifted work schedule with an 8 hour online course run in Central Time so the limit of my golf today will be Forum reading and posting hope golf is part of your day too!

Good morning MGSpies from West Coast time, not really, still in WNY but late greetings. Today's golf at Chautauqua GC Hill Course with regular partners for our annual round here was interrupted by a torrential rainstorm with lightning that caught us on the hilltop 8th green. We spent the onslaught at the halfway house before retiring the course and round for the unplayable course conditions after the deluge. The ProAm Tournament on the Lake Course was also called for the day to let the course recover after a thorough watering. We didn't know the ProAm is at CGC this week and running into some of my favorite WNY PGA pros and staffers definitely made up for the incomplete round. Lunch in Mayville NY before heading home. Still better than working hope golf is a part of your day.

Good morning MGSpies on a sunny summer weather Sunday morning with coffee in the mug the kids gave me on Fathers Day, a flavor I would not have chosen that's actually very good, though the notes of blueberry are surprising yet complimentary to the coffee itself arrived at Southern Meadows GC for PGA HOPE session 5 of 6 and nephew's high school graduation party after close to home. Hope golf is a part of your day

Thought of you today. I golfed at Southern Meadows this morning with some friends in a scramble. My first time there. It was great to see that they support Project Hope.
The next PGA HOPE session at Southern Meadows is tomorrow morning at 10am, so I will be there about 24 hours after you! I have not played the course, only provided assistance to the pros running the program but if you talked to the Head Pro Mike Clawson then we have an acquaintance in common and I will be working check-in for him as the Vets arrive

Good morning MGSpies on this overcast Saturday in WNY. Working in the yard is the event of the day and hoping the light infrequent rains give the chance to get everything done sooner than later. Golf plans for tomorrow and Monday so trying to get the stage set for enjoyable times later, hope golf is a part of your day today
Now, tea is usually my weekend fare but coffee is being insistent so attend to it I shall

That's a lot more than what we have just 60 miles north of your neck of the woods, consider an hour drive north and you can probably get in some rounds during that threat of T-Storms. As close as Mayville or Ellicottville has non-rainy times for the next 2 weeks.

Good morning MGSpies from a gloomy gonna be inclement weather Friday in WNY with hot coffee making everything seem just right for the last zero commute day of the week. Missed the community call yesterday afternoon trying to get everything orchestrated before tee-off that seemed to work as regular partner helped me to see his perspective for my game improvement that is remarkable to him but glacier slow to me. Golf will be Forum until Monday with the things that must be done, so hoping golf is a part of your day

Just remember the best accessory for your ball retriever is a club head cover. In addition to great camouflage to hide there is a ball retriever in the bag, it is even more useful properly sized/extended as a club protector with the rain hood on the golf bag when putting the bag into a vehicle and a support for a raincoat or whatever you use as rain protection for your golf bag and clubs when it is raining so clubs are easily taken out and put back under the rain protection.

Congratulations Testers!!!
I have been using SwingU app before it was SwingU and based on the phone's internal GPS system it is more screen time and brightness that uses battery power so make sure you have a backup power source to keep the screen up (will go to screen off power save if not touched for 10 minutes).
Looking forward to reading all about how others experience compares to my own!

Good morning MGSpies from a summer day WNY style that includes partly to mostly cloudy skies, warm temps with humidity, not so chilly overnight and short sleeve and shorts days hot coffee jump starting the morning as computers come online for the zero commute Thursday edition and possibly a cameo for community call today with a 4:10 tee time. Month is coming to a head with vehicle inspection due, vehicle needs tires, tomorrow is payday, golf trip to Chautauqua on Monday, inspection Tuesday, and so on and so forth. Hope everything is falling well into line for your commitments and golf is a part of your day everyday.
And Jason @sirchunksalot, community call is today. Hope to see everyone there

Good morning MGSpies from my zero commute Wednesday basement command central where all things work and Forum happen throughout the day hot coffee waking up the senses as computers come online. Yesterday got in 9 holes at the local course and still working on consistently good hits for irons to get to the greens but L.A.B. DF2.1 was spectacular with only 3 lag 2-putts, 5 1-putts and a holeout from the first cut for a very decent 48 thanks to a couple triples - as I said getting to the greens is the focus but (T)Less is the driver in my bag now as sometimes shorter distance is better when playing short grass the whole distance from tee to cup. PGA HOPE session 4 of 6 at Glen Oak GC this evening, hope golf is a part of your day
And a Happy Summer Solstice everyone at 10:57am EST this morning

Date 06/19/2023 Course Name Thousand Islands CC Lake Course Gross Score 86 Course Handicap 24 Gross Strokes over/under par 16 Net Score to Par -8 Net Score 62 Net Birdies or better 7 Longest Drive 167 33 putts for the day: 3 one-putts and 15 two-putts. 6 pars and nothing more than a double. (T)Less Driver is doing the long hitting off the tee (yes I know it's name is teeless but off a 3/4" tee height it really flies and the 5th tee shot goes through a constricted fairway, glanced off trees (apparently) and was found after playing a provisional 2nd shot at the green almost 100 yards beyond the trees it "bounced" off. Similar thing happened today on my local course, so (T)Less has a home in my bag.
86 is my newest low round score for 18 holes and two better than last year's 88 that was my first sub-90 round. Loving this slow downward trend

Stafford doesn't show the hole ratings for net birdies so that number is from the front 9 score of 50 played on 6/29 at Elma Meadows.
