  1. I think putters must be the most personal preference club in the bag. Once you find one that really works, its hard to change it. I have had only two, the first being an older style PING Anser 2 blade. I still have it and occasionally bring it out. I actually won the clubs putting competition with it, so it holds a special place. The other, and currently in the bag, is an old Carbite Polar Balanced blade. I bought that for my son as his first putter and have kept it. It has a really nice weight to it. So maybe that makes me a rotation player between the two!!

  3. No problem with a mixed bag, play one myself. Fitting is important to get an understanding of what could work for you, but there is also something about really liking the equipment you play with as well for a confidence factor. In that sense, as long as it works for you, its good. My current driver is a little old now (Callaway Diablo Tour Black), and will go to my pro for a fitting at some point in 2019. Don't know if I will change, but i am open to what I play with.

    Hi

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I'm from Belfast (Ireland/Northern Ireland). Bit of a hacker with a h/c of 16 and new grandad late last year. Had a really poor short game last year (chipping and pitching), but worked hard on that lately and seeing some rewards. So hopefully this year might shave a couple of shots of that h/c. Will post something in WITB (for the laugh).
