  1. Had a lot of fun today. We didn’t make it around in time for our second 18 but that was going to be a scramble anyway. But I was going to get some more pics of the course. 3 birdies and some close putts. Looking forward to my first fully restriction free round tomorrow! More details to follow when I get better cell service.
  2. and if you and @xOldBenKenobiX are nominated as tributes you can bet your bottom dollar the #CCC4 crew will be there to give you guys hell!
  3. For me I feel the biggest difference in spin around the green. I can't tell you the amount of times I see my brother hit a shot that by all accounts looks and sounds like it should one-hop and stop or at least check up and release and it just bounds across the green. I get what you mean though. I hate paying $4 a ball. I usually get my pro V1x's in April/May when they do the buy three get one free deal. works out to $36 a dozen, and they typically lasts me 2 seasons (along with some found balls or an extra dozen in the second year).
  4. you SHOULD want one! The infinity face is legit, and it really does help with the occasional sky ball from marking it up too. But yes... it's worth the wait to get fit! I'm not so patiently waiting for a shipping notification on a Ventus shaft for it. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few rounds in with that to compare to the Tensei Pro White. The Ventus is just so dang good in the 5-wood I had to see if it will tighten things up for me a bit. Admittedly... my dispersion is probably more Indian than Arrow... While I have played a lot this summer, I only have a range session or two sinc
  5. It was one golfballs.com was running a month or so ago. Not valid anymore. But it did work on them! Got the AlignXL customization on them.
  6. Yeah for the alternate shot challenge for #ccc4 [mention]Lacassem [/mention] and I used a mix of Snell MTBX and Bridgestone Tour B X. I thought they both felt and played really well. I could easily game them over the Pro V1x. Especially since the coupon code I had worked with those two but not the titleist. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Just checked out their site... looks like it will have some really picturesque holes! Good luck out there tomorrow... everyone loves a good underdog story!
  8. @Nunfa0I know you had asked a page or two ago if we would have done anything different with our set makeup... For me the only club that hasn’t earned a full time spot is the Hybrid. Once the challenge is over I’ll get out with my old Titleist 818 Hybrid which has a flatter lie angle and the fade weight in to mitigate the dreaded left shot with a hybrid. It’s not a slight to the Cobra, I think it’s just too upright for me (my irons are 2 flat, but we cannot adjust or bend the cobra hybrid). It flys great when I hit it correctly, but there’s just too much left in it for me to be really c
  9. I’ll be playing up at Point Sebago Golf Course in Sebago, ME. I have played there, but it was once 2 years ago. I’m up there for a golf weekend so it just ended up slotting in there nicely for the challenge.
  10. That’s awesome. Love that slow mo gif too. Tempted to bust that swing out on the long drive hole of a scramble? Looks like you’re in a decent spot at “impact” [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah I wasn’t surprised by this. Looking forward to the Bridgestone and hopefully Snell review. I was running low on ProV1x’s so grabbed some Bridgestone and snell balls to compare. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It’s kind of awesome how much the DNA of the look is still there with the new PTx PROs too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yes, while the top is well structured and solid that ends just where the arms of our cart would hold it. With the Cart bag empty and my hands towards the top of the side pockets I can literally squeeze the bag so my hands touch. All the support for the main structure is 4 rods at the corners of the bag (much like a tent). The Speedzone Stand bag may be heavier, but they put the weight into the structure and material and it really shows.
  14. Well.... my update on the Cobra Ultralight Cart Bag will be a quick one. It's lovely. I love the pockets, features, and deeeeeeep cooler pouch. However, it will be going back. It doesn't seem to match up well with my CaddyTec push cart. the arms that lock the top in place are either too loose to prevent twisting, or squeeze the sides in too much. Also the towel clip seems to be in a tough spot. Considering the Cobra x Vessel Speedzone Stand bag fits so well on the pushcart and works just fine on a cart I'm not going to bother bringing the Cart bag with me to Maine and will be sending it
  15. Seriously! I am at a loss that this summer is coming to a close and we’re almost through 2 full months of #CCC4 madness! To Echo Cody, thank you, thank you, thank you, to Cobra, My Golf Spy, our fantastic Mods, Arccos, my 4 competitors, and every member who followed along with us and challenged us! It’s great to see so many of you guys engaged and enjoying this event as much as the competitors are and there’s no way we would be 167 pages into this if it weren’t for your participation. A quick side note, you all really need to try some PUMA clothes... they’re quickly becoming my preferred br
  16. Damn those are some bombs! Glad you got the swing working for you again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I totally think it’s worth upgrading to a finished length. You may also want to try adding a few grams of head weight too. After my experience with my Ping G30 cut down, my M5 at std (choked up), and Speedzone at your length I have no intention of playing anything over 44.5 in driver again.
  18. That is the best news I’ve ever heard. I assumed, clearly wrongly, that you guys had some of the same wildlife concerns as the Aussies... My apologies good sir!
  19. But don’t you guys have all sorts of poisonous everything to deal with?! [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. And not once have I played where it has hit the forecasted high. [emoji23] I have played in flurries more than once. Don’t hit it thin...
  21. Na it’s different for us... we’ll go out and play in the winter because it’s going to be “unseasonably warm and sunny” AKA 43 degrees [emoji23][emoji23]
  22. Yeah then my Phil-esque flop landed hard and rolled too far by. Ah well we played solid! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Glad to see you got up there for your trip! I’ll have to put Belgrade on the list to play. I’ll be playing Point Sebago next weekend. is maybe the 180 the slope adjusted? Was it uphill? I’m still trying to get caught up on this thread as I am a bit of a gadget nerd...
  24. Good luck to the next draft group!
