  1. Speaking of the Cowboys… anyone heard from @xOldBenKenobiX since the loss? you doing ok Elson?
  2. 1. It’s Dallas so that might answer it right there. 2. the defense was playing the sideline big time. Like no one in the middle of the field. The run was supposed to be for 10-12 yards and a spike. Romo mentioned on air that basically Dak tried to bite off more than he could chew and didn’t leave enough time for the spike and final play. 3. I still also think it was stupid. But refer back to point #1.
  3. Happy 10 years to Mr and Mrs Chunksalot! A wonderful milestone!
  4. MD is in the acceptable drive range for me!
  5. Right around the 1:30 mark of this video makes your receivers more open when you can squeeze it in windows like that.
  6. Sorry Jamie, I’m not cultured. What exactly is a Swiss Raclette?
  7. His arm strength is just so impressive. The second TD thrown to Knox was an absolute rocket. There are only 1-2 other guys I would trust with that throw.
  8. Hard to sit here and say the Bills aren’t the Alpha in the AFC East now. The Pats have a lot of work to do on both sides of the ball this off-season. As a football fan it has been great to see a guy like Josh Allen rise up and develop into a true game changing star (even though I like to talk a bunch of crap about the Bills).
  9. Congrats @bens197 might ban you later. Not sure yet.
  10. Air fryer Oreo update: Raegan Approved.
  11. I like where you’re starting. I think the bread is the most important part of any good sandwich shop!
  12. Hey Dennis! I’ve been using the sensors for about 2 full seasons now. I haven’t had any come loose including one on a putter grip that was a little narrower than the sensor. if you do notice any loosening you might be able to take a small wrap of electrical tape around them for a more secure fit, but I don’t think you’ll need it.
  13. Had some fun with the air fryer tonight: Fried Oreos!
  14. maybe not 17 yards.... but... can your DRIVER do that!? I didn't think so.
  15. Man Mizuno has come a loooonnng way in the looks department in just a few years. Both of those look every bit as premium as a TM, Cally, Cobra, or Titleist Option to me. I'm sure if people give these a shot a lot of them will end up in their bags.
  16. Was in that same league with @Lacassem. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the competitive aspect right from the start. I remember the first round I played being on the putting green and feeling like it actually mattered for the first time. it was a great competitive outlet since organized sports are harder to come by. I had to leave the league during the first year of Covid as I wasn’t sure if I could commit to playing. Haven’t had a chance to try to rejoin since, but I’ve liked playing in the AM vs Afternoons too. If I end up joining a club I will absolutely play in another league. It’s good fun competition, and I learned a lot about myself as a player from it. if you’re at all interested I would give it a try!
  17. Happy Birthday @mr.hicksta!!!
  18. ohhh there is (or at least before lockdown there was) a TM M2 3 wood available at the simulator at my office.... There was more than one time that almost ended up coming with me. I hit it longer than I hit the Titleist 917 d2 driver that was in there!
  19. You’re just on the same cycle as most OEMs now… Same story rotating every few years, just a different paint job. Also… I still think we really need a What Grinds Shankster’s Gears thread. Welcome back!
  20. I had a Newport Select in my bag for several years. One of my favorite parts of that putter was the grip. I had a pistolero grip on it and I still haven't found a perfect replacement for it on my ER2B. The SNSR Contour is close... but one day I might have a EVNROLL putter with a Scotty grip on it... if my OCD can stomach that. haha I originally got into mine because I loved the feel of the deep milled face and loved the design of the softer, more rounded Newport (no number) model. It had no alignment aid, nothing to distract me, and felt great rolling the ball. If I didn't have the chance to play an ER2B on the course and find that I liked the wide-blade look, and the feel was as good, I'd probably still be rolling it. Since that line though I have not enjoyed the feel of any of his insert putters, and never got along with any of the mallets. Love the looks, but didn't actually like putting with them. I haven't tried any of the newer ones though.
  21. I don’t think I’d be complaining. just might need some stretchy waist pants. Hahaha
  22. Jackson got a cooking set from my BIL for Christmas and has started making some meals with us. first up was a tomato basil soup and grilled cheese. I don’t think I’ll ever eat tomato soup from a can again! Then last night he helped my wife make a delicious chicken piccata. best part is both times he ate the whole meal. Anything that gets him to expand his horizons is worth the mess! Haha
  23. Those 5k’s do look like something I’ll need to give a putt or two. One of those white hot inserts could pair nicely with a firmer ball like the left dash.
  24. Love it @dlow206! Putter fittings can be eye opening, glad to see that your fitter went beyond the numbers and recommended output to really examine your stroke. also an honorary member of the short and flat putter club. 32.5 and 67* (3 flat on most from stock). So when’s the Bettinardi coming in?
