  1. I think like @cnosileaid “the option” to buy something, given hey even better. me personally a plaque with something to put the ball on would be pretty cool. Again no problem buying it from the clubhouse could be as easy as “so and so course hole in one” able to add date and hole
  2. Transfusion. titos (not a vodka guy but it works in this) grape juice ginger ale and lime.
  3. This is awesome lol. For a childs course, looks really good shape.
  4. Good, wouldnt say good, luck, now luck i can agree with! None of us are good just lucky.
  5. lol might be a good idea! Cheers!
  6. I would put some cash on Honma for sure. Nice thought process there.
  7. Congrats on the hole in one! While it would be cool to get something to commemorate it, expecting I wouldn't no. While I can say if I managed a course I would definitely do something like this, Just fun IMO. Regardless, congrats and save that ball with a date on there!
  8. I can appreciate not wanting to pay that, trust me I wouldn't have either. It went on sale a few months back believe I got it for around 130? Well worth it for anything under $200 IMO. I am looking at it as something I can use to push off lessons for several years. I may still do a lesson end of this season just to see where I can improve but this tool is A1
  9. What a day can do for the pool! I will take the big jump to the top 31! I have a little different lineup going than most so fingers crossed!
  10. Yes hole 1 but damnit he got that thing on the green in 2!
  11. Super backhanded with the "superhuman, you have to have super clubs" Apologizes and then takes another shot at the equipment while boasting how awesome he is.
  12. "as long as it doesnt touch the uniform" per German Military requirements lol! But yes I recently got away from the high and tight but around the ears and neck is skin for me!
  13. Man Marcel is just awesome to watch. In a game that I think needs some more fist pumps he is fantastic. Funny to see no hat! make that x2 lol
  14. Wait cant you say anything you want these days as long as you publicly apologize?! (Insert sarcasm through sentence) This is whats wrong with 99.9% of anyone that is high profile. Just pretend to apologize and all is forgiven.
  15. A true golfer is anyone that enjoys just playing the game. Whether thats by yourself walking 18, having a cigar with your 4some, a good cocktail at the 19th hole after a round or even those that just love watching it on TV or from the 18th. The reason I include this is my grandfather has not been able to play in years, he IMO is the epitome of a golfer even though he cannot play, he loves talking the game with me and I love it just as much as he does. Me I think I am a mix? Traditional and modern, I love the modern game but the traditional values if that makes sense? Love the question by the way, going to get alot of different views here.
  16. Zalatoris withdraws super infortunate.
  17. I need to watch the office, right up my alley just have not got there! Soon as I googled a whole mess popped up
  18. Lol no but please enlighten me the reference!
  19. Sounds like there may be some behind the scenes things he is dealing with. While Bryson doesnt really hold back comments this sounds like A) a frustrating round compounded by B) those behind the scenes issues he is dealing with. Regardless I am somewhat happy Ben Schomin responded back in that way responding they are doing everything they can.
  20. @Rickp is this you getting a snapshot of the sink holes?
  21. Been a long time coming with A) Rain and B) waiting for my wife to be done with school so @B.Bostonand I could get our early morning Thursday rounds in. Well today was day 1 FINALLY! I swear the putter knows its on the hot seat between me wanting to buy and holding out to test something! 43 (+8) 5/7 FIR's 0/9 GIR's (Ouch!) 14 putts. 3 Par's 5 Bogey's and 1 Other....1st hole too! Driving didn't feel that good, but I was hitting fairways just not to long with how wet we still are. Approach is accurate but doesnt reflect how well I was striking the ball, was short or left on everything, but it is super wet and the air feels like a swimming pool right now so I cannot be to frustrated. Chipping wasn't as good as it has been. Left myself some long putts. Only 1 3 putt because I put myself in a bad spot chipping on short-side, left myself a real long one and didnt execute getting it close but the rest of the morning lag putting was lights out, nothing is really dropping for me right now but the pace is right there and its just missing. Longest drive was 261, just no roll and I swear the ball is flying through water. Can see here, any other day of the week this ball rolls down the hill and its 280 easily. Instead it plugged and somehow came backwards. This hole I was 168 out, grabbed 7 iron which would have been plenty. Mild rough and I flushed the thing. Was tracking right at the flag with a slight right to left. Again any other day of the week this would have hopped on and rolled to the flag, instead plugged and came back at me All in all beautiful morning, I am worried about how many mosquitos are going to be spawning over the next week though! When they are out during the day, its never good and they have been out!
  22. My goals were a little smaller than most. Lessons and play more than last year. Well Lessons I intend on the off season so that will be an easy check. Playing more not so much. July really put a damper on things with rain. Played a fair amount in May and June to make up for it but going to need to play a lot next month to make up for this record rain. Positives so far: -Off the tee I am roughly the same handicap wise according to Arccos but am currently on average longer, which I am happy about, Although the past 2 rounds I have taken some really bad penalties but mid-season woes will be corrected. -Putting while I still 3 putt, Feel like I am reading greens so much better this year and my lag putting has been spot on. Need to clean up 5'-10' -2nd year with my irons, I am slowly lowering my approach HCP from +16 to currently sitting on average +9. I have lowered my "short" misses but have increased misses left & long which is fine for me because I know its just an aiming issue now, really wanted to get rid of the shorts as much as possible.
