  1. I have just bought this for winter here in Christchurch NZ. My Titleist Staff Bag was getting to Dirty on the course so it wait until Summertime.
  2. Does this mean I will see you at TGC again Nunfa0 lol We are well over due a round together.
  3. If I had not just bought the Mizuno 223's, these would have definitely been on the to try list.
  4. I have just added a Titleist U505 3 Iron with a 80g Hazrdus RDX Smoke Shaft.
  5. You all posed some really good points. Tonight after work I played 9 holes with the 3 iron in the bag. Off the tee it is extremely solid and I was able to work the ball left and right. Playing from the rough did not seem to be an issue, I was still able to get good height and launch angles. I will use it for another few rounds and keep you all posted on how it is performing. If I was going to try a hybrid, what are some brands that you would recommend?
  6. I know this comes down to personal preference a lot of the time, but I have decided to put a Titleist U505 3 Iron with a 80g Hazrdus RDX Smoke Shaft in the bag. The main reason for this is have a club in the bag that I can rely on as a fairway finder.... If there is anyone out there that has used one of these or can recommend a better option, I am all ears
  7. Congratulations to all the testers, I am looking forward to reading your reviews.

    Mizuno 223 Review

I completely agree. I had a good friend of mine who is a +5 handicap hit my 7 iron the other day and he was amazed at the feel and control that the 223 offers.
  9. Congratulations to the winners. I am also keen to keep up with the reviews on the DI, as this is one club that has been in consideration for a while now.

    Mizuno 223 Review

Yes you are quite right @Nunfa0 is a member at TGC Thank you for comment.
  11. Hey Everyone, I have not done this before but had to write this for anyone considering new irons. I have always been a Japanese forged guy when it came to irons. So when it came time to upgrade from my Honma irons, Mizuno was my first thought. Talking with my local golf club proshop (Templeton Golf Club) they signed me up for a Titleist fitting. Now to give you some context I injured my back 2 years ago and have had pain issues ever since. So I was looking for an iron that would give me playability as well as forgiveness, sounds simple right lol. I was fitted into the T100 with a 105 gram stiff shaft. Don't get me wrong these are an amazing iron, however they felt a lot firmer off the face than I was accustomed too. So I headed off to our local driving range and booked in with their club fitter, shout out to Jordon Latter. Jordon knows my swing well, so when I walked in he said you have two choices! T100 or Mizuno 223. With a 115 gram stiff Nippon NS Pro fitted into each iron, looking down on both irons they had a similar top line, with the face of the Mizuno being slightly longer. I was very surprised that both 7 irons went similar distances with a similar flight (160 meters carry) It all came down to aesthetics and feel. For me the Mizuno gave me more confidence at address with the larger head size. And lets be honest here I am no Cam Smith. So how would I rate the Mizuno 223? They feel is honestly like swinging a practice swing, you can hardly feel the ball fly off the club face. I have picked up about half a club in distance with a smooth tempo, and my dispersion has also decreased as well. Now I am currently playing to a 9 handicap, but am able to work the ball both ways. In this department the Mizuno can not be faulted, as well as having incredible forgiveness. However if you catch it thin you are going to know about it very quickly! So as you can probably imagine I would rate these irons a solid 10/10. This is one iron you can't look past if you're wanting workability, feel and forgiveness.

I am from Christchurch New Zealand, home course is Templeton Golf Club https://www.templetongc.co.nz 5. There is some stunning golf courses around Canterbury at very good green fee rates 6. I am a sales rep/owner of GolfFitCo Week 1a V003.mp4 7. 15. Hi All, Thought I would share what my 14 year old daughter Dakota has created during the lock down here in New Zealand. Super clever and talented golf ball art Any other art pieces out there?
  16. These Iron are seriously good looking, I currently play the Honma TW737 and love how they feel. However as far as looks go I differently think Ping have one over Honma on this one.
  17. I have been playing golf again from December this year after a break of about 10 years. My current handicap is a 12 but I am working hard to get that down with some regular practice. I was introduced to this site by Nunfa0 who is a good bugger at my course. I am from Christchurch New Zealand, my club is Templeton Golf Club. We have a lot of top quality golf course around the Christchurch are with very different designs and lengths. I am a Operations Manager for a Hydro excavation and Storm Water Treatment company called HydroVac. Used my nickname and the country I am from. There was a lot of time and thought put into it lol
  18. Awesome review, If i was in the market for a system like this I would definitely look into it.
  19. Really good review. I am all so a Stroke Lab man now myself, best decision I ever made.
  20. I do like to think I can be classy at times
  21. Hi All. First off let me say I am a new member This site was recommended to be my a member at my golf club (Templeton Golf Club) and I must say it has been a wealth of knowledge. So in saying that here is a shout out to NunfaO bloody good bugger for a lefty Right so anyway! I was using an older Odyssey 7 putter when our local pro noticed that my swing was not very consistent hence why I was leaving putts short or hitting them 6 feet past....so we worked together to change my putting stroke. Honestly this was the best and worst thing to go through but once I got comfortable with the new path and grip change it felt amazing. However my Odyssey 7 putter on the other hand felt like a foreign object and I could not hole anything over 2 feet. This is when I discovered the Odyssey Stroke Lab 1 and man it was love at first sight! Let's just say the wife is lucky I do not put this putter between us at night Here is some putter info: Multi-material Stroke Lab Shaft for Innovative Weight Distribution Tip-heavy graphite and steel shaft saves 40 grams* that’s relocated into each end of the putter to change performance dynamics. Slightly Stiffer and Lower Torque for Increased Control The Stroke Lab shaft is slightly stiffer and lower torque compared to standard putter shafts for to better control the slightly heavier head. Sole Weights and Grip Weight for a Smooth and Accurate Stroke Additional weight in the sole and butt-end of the grip change the putter’s dynamics to help golfers consistently repeat a smoother and more accurate stroke. White Hot Microhinge Face Insert for a Great Feel and Smooth Roll Combines legendary White Hot feel with dozens of microhinges embedded across the face that promote topspin for smooth roll and acute distance control. This putter gives me 100% confidence when facing any putt. A combination of the blade style, sole weights and my adjusted swing path has meant my average putts per round has dropped so I am super happy. If you are in the market for a new putter I honestly suggest you trying out one of these bad girls (Her name is Erin Lol)
