This ball has my attention. The "No Putts Given" episode was interesting because it seemed like they are genuinely trying to make either model fit what a player is looking for based on feel. I am a big believer in find your ball (whatever it is) and play it all year. Predictability trumps most things for we mere mortals. I am currently trying to find my ball for this year and am currently testing ChromeSoft Tour, PXG, PRO-V1X, PRO-V1X-, Z Star Diamond, against last year's ball ( Z-Star XV) via a combination of my Skytrak SC 200. I am looking for the unicorn ball that gives me a little more spin off the driver and higher launch and spin off my irons. That in itself isn't too difficult, but finding one that isn't too spinney off the tee and feels right off near the green has been tough. Maybe the new TP5X is the trick. I look forward to seeing the reviews and testing results.

I love the idea of DTC brands providing budget friendly options to players that are looking for quality and playability at a price that leaves some money left over to actually use them. That said, I have tried and demo'd Takomo, Sub zero, and am currently GAMING PXG Gen-6 P. (Say what you will about PXG's branding, their dedication to veterans is unrivaled and helps us out a lot.) They All have been high quality but finding the blend of forgiveness, distance and workability has been a challenge. There is always going to be a trade-off between forgiveness or workability. Perhaps Haywood has cracked the code. I look forward to reading about the tester experience! Best of luck to all and thanks again for the opportunity and what you guys do.

MGS with another great opportunity for us! cant wait to see the reviews. Like most here, I am the type to deep dive into research, reviews, test, wash rinse, repeat before I will buy a bag of tees. Paralysis by analysis is my mantra. That said, I have always made my putted decisions based on (in this order) Looks, feel, how many i made with it after immediately picking it up, or my buddy has one and I hooped a no look 20 footer. Sold. Man this sounds stupid when I say it aloud....I bet many of you do the same thing. For me, what has my blood pumping here is the fitting and the subsequent data. Hopefully the testers have some of that for comparison. Man. I cant wait to read about the tester fitting experiences.

What a great testing opportunity! I am a huge putter nerd and have been eyeballing these for a while. I have an O-Works red 1wide that is a similar set up to the Sycamore 005 Wide Blade. I would love to put these two through their paces and give a real apples to apples (albeit, Pink lady to Fuji). I have the Birdie ball mat in my simulator room and live near a golf course with a fast, smooth practice green. The wheels are spinning!!!
Best of luck to all and I look forward to reading the results of the testers.
Sycamore 005 Wide Blade Putter
Putter of Choice for me would be the 005 Sycamore RH 34.5 " Single bend shaft (40 degree toe hang) with a golf Pride Tour SNSR Mid pistol grip,

OHHH, gadgets are my favorite! I teach putting for our CYC section and this might be a fun thing to try out with my daughter, some of my juniors as well as some of my putting challenged friends. I would love to add this to my Rubbermaid tub of putting aids! Good luck to all that apply!
