  1. Just got 2023 Cobra Aerojet 6 thru PW. Got a great deal from Pro Clubs on eBay. Took a gamble, hoping they work out. Might have to have them adjusted for my swing. We’ll see.
  2. Between $350 and $400. I’d buy the putter I was fitted for. Brand is not a consideration for me. I believe I can lower my score with a putter more than with any other club. I lean toward a toe hang mallet but only because I don’t have to bend over to retrieve gimmes.
  3. Winn DriTac LT (less taper) Oversized (+1/16). All 13 clubs.
  4. Right now it’s an Evnroll wide blade, model ER 2.2 with a Winn 1.32 grip. I got a Mizuno M-craft Omoi model 6 with a Lamkin Sink Fit pistol grip for Christmas so I will try it out this Spring.
  5. Edison forged Gen 1. Lofts of 45, 49, 53, and 57. First forged clubs I ever played. They feel great and I really like them.
  6. I like to tee off around 8 AM at my home course. If a different course, will still try for 8-ish, but it will depend on available tee times. I am retired so I I try to avoid weekend crowds.
  7. Bought a Mizuno M Craft Omoi Type 6 putter and an Alphard V2 electric cart conversion system.
  8. Four wedges. 45, 49, 53, 57. Works for me.
  9. Four Edison Forged wedges, including PW. Lofts: 45, 49, 53, 57.
  10. I have them, I use them, and I don't pay attention to the "side eyes" or any criticism. They work for me and always have.
  11. I use this brand of iron head covers and I like them a lot.
  12. A set of Sam Snead Blue Ridge clubs, wood driver and FWs included. Then a set of Haig Ultras, wooden woods again. But the irons were blades. This was a bad choice of irons for me. Then, a set of Spalding blade irons, another bad choice. I built a set of clubs from Ralph Maltby or maybe Golfworks. I retired from the USAF and treated myself to a set of Titleist DCI+ Oversize irons. Gamed those for twenty years. I retired from teaching and got fitted (finally) for a set of Ping G400s, woods and irons. Played those for 4 years and currently have a set of Ping G425s with 4 Edison wedges.
  13. If the ball is white, I spin them on a Check Go Pro and put a dot on the top of the spin axis. Then I draw a line along the spin axis and go from there. Any color is OK with me. If I'm using the Vice Drip, I don't mark it at all since it's easily identifiable. I also try to hit a different number if I need a provisional.
  14. I put my driver in the one of the shortest slots. Keeps the driver from banging around on the cart roof when I'm riding. Also makes it easier to put on/take off the head cover. Then, two metal woods. Then, two hybrids in a wavy, s-shaped pattern. Please don't judge iron head covers. My sticks are in excellent shape even though they are not new.
  15. A 2.5 to 3-inch wide brim hat. Usually a white or light color.
  16. Ping Alta CB senior flex graphite in G425 Driver through 9-iron (9 clubs). KBS PGI in four Edison forged wedges.
  17. Really enjoy the equipment and ball testing, reviews and opinions of MGS. Data-driven testing is the way to go IMO. Very closely followed the ball testing that caused Callaway to take a hard look at themselves and spend a ton of money to improve ball production. Keep up the good work. I will continue to follow this site as long as it exists.
  18. It's 20 degrees outside, so I practiced my 6-foot putts on my living room carpet. About four 10 minute sessions during the day.
  19. Ping G-400s: Driver, 3W, 5W, 4H, 5H, 6 through 9-iron. Edison forged wedges: PW, AW, SW, LW. Putter: Evnroll ER2.2 Mid-Blade.
  20. Couple of Edison forged wedges and some Vice Pro Soft Drip golf balls.
  21. New Ping G425 Max fairway woods, G425 hybrids, and 6 - 9 irons. Edison forged wedges also.
  22. I like Winn Dri-Tac Less Taper Oversize. Fits my hands well and is very comfortable for me.
