  1. I'll come back later tonight to read all the comments but in the meantime I'll make one short comment/answer to the question. A group of people, in an effort to ensure their financial future, decided to "grow the game". Another group of people with unlimited funds, and willing to pay any price, bought into it. Oh, and I forgot the third group....or a subset of the second group, that jumped on board in an effort to impress all their friends and others with how worldly they are and how how much they can spend on ridiculously tricked up expensive courses and resorts.   2. How do I replace the battery on my Shot Scope watch? It will no longer hold a charge.
  3. Clickgear techs believe the problem is my remote control. They sent a new remote. No help. They're going to contact the "factory". In China I'm guessing. I wait but am not excited. Still waiting for anyone who might have had the same issue.

  5. I have the eWheelsV2 since 11/2020. It's run fine...'til now. I've not been using it for nearly a month. Fired it up yesterday. All seemed good. I'd charged both motor and remote batts and headed to the course. Got it all set up, all lights looked normal....won't run off the remote. Went thru all the "rebooting", i.e. took batt out of the motor and put it back in, re-paired the remote. Nothing...it won't run and none of the buttons on the remote will do anything.....they do light up and the remote appears to be normal. I have a second remote so paired it but it doesn't work either. Went to my iPhone CBV2 app and the motor will run off my phone. I've never used that method on the course and not sure I want to start now. And my firmware IS up to date. Any ideas? Of course it's Sunday and I have golf early Mon morning so wont be able to phone Clicgear. Has anyone had similar experience? Can anyone tell me or guess how easy it will be to run the cart off the app if I want to try that in the meantime?

  7. Does anyone think this sounds anything like the old Killer Bee long shaft? It's been years, but I played that club at 48", got exceptional distance. The shaft seemed a little whippy and you really had to wait at the top and have good tempo throughout the swing. I think I was a 5 at the time (nowhere near that now) but gave it up because I couldn't put the ball where I wanted to consistently.
  8. For those of you looking for a motorized caddy here's another option..............Alphard. I bought a Clicgear cart and the Alphard motor (both are distributed by Clicgear) attachment in Nov 2020 and have been using it several times a week since. I've seen a number of different brands before and since my purchase and would buy Alphard again. The Alphard motor will go on a number of push carts...I just wanted the Clicgear. I like my unit because it has a wider wheel base and a lower center of gravity and it's much more stable than other units I've seen at my club. I don't leave it at my club but I do break down the cart from the motor, put it in my golf cart and drive to and from the course.... then I put it together and I walk. This process is quick and easy and is one of the reasons I bought this combo. Customer service has been exceptional! That's about it. I suggest you check out Alphard.
  9. Hey Carl! Thanks for the shout my friend! I'll look for your review of the new shoes and I just may try some. I am apprehensive about not being able to try a pair just for fit before buying....hate the whole "return thing". And that goose s*** comment....we don't have any goose s*** at my course..... Looks pretty cold back there right now.
  10. I've seen all the ads for Sqairz and have pretty much ignored them. After seeing all the comments above I am now curious. I walk most rounds and have had recent problems with flat feet and a disappearing arch. I've had to go a size larger and from a "medium" to a "wide" in my Footjoys. I saw a reference to a "wide toe" which is one thing I've had to look for (and found in ECCO shoes). So, my questions: Are Sqairz accurately sized? Do they run small or large? How heavy are they? Has anyone out there (other than Straka) actually walked 18 holes and how did they feel? Jim
  11. ow Hoping that Rapsodo Support reads these posts. Just purchased new Rapsodo launch monitor. It arrived and is charged. I have the app on my iphone. I cannot open the app which is a requirement to actually use the launch monitor. Rapsodo app doesn't recognize registration info,..username and password which has been confirmed email by Rapsodo. I can logon to Rapsodo page and use my new account. However, the app doesn't recognize any of this info and thus will not allow me to open the app and pair the device with my phone. So I'm dead in the water. As to SUPPORT from Rapsodo........NON EXISTENT SO FAR AFTER 2 DAYS. I've tried to create another account on the app but unsuccessful.....it doesn't recognize the email address which Rapsodo has confirmed!! (??)) My next step is to call my credit card company and cancel/dispute the charge. Maybe then I'll get some support from Rapsodo......timely and meaningful support.
