  2. Hey everyone! I've read MGS for some time but just recently joined the forums Ok, ready... How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? - Been playing since I was 6 years old with about a 6 year hiatus during / after college. 8HCI and dropping at the moment. What do you love about golf? - Just about everything, but especially birdies. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? - I was looking for another place to scratch my golf itch when I couldn't get to the course I check the blog once in a while but never ventured to the forums. I don't think I know any other spies Where are you from? What is your home course? - From Kansas City, typically play my golf at Falcon Valley GC in Lenexa, KS. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? - There are some great clubs and courses in the KC area that are fairly reasonable cost. Worst is easy...winter. What do you do for a living? - Real Estate How’d you pick your user name? - Been a handle of mine for some time now
  3. First, hello MGS peeps! Anyhow...This is the first summer I've played blades and absolutely love them. I'm a club ho and was getting bored with the i500's so went in to try out the blade lineup for fun. I found out quickly that my preconceived notions about how hard they would be to hit went away after a few swings. I also realized what I had been missing on the feel off of the face and couldn't talk myself out of getting them. Sure, they're a bit smaller profile but it wasn't nearly as intimidating as I had expected. Ended up getting fit into the Apex MB (6-P) and Apex Pro (4-5). After gaming them for 5 months I can't see myself going back to anything else, at least in the 6-P (might end up swapping the 4/5 for MBs at some point as well). The feel is irreplaceable and getting consistent distances, especially compared the suuuuper hot face of the i500s is really nice.
