  1. That's it!! blame the putter not the loose nut behind it
  2. Wow and I thought I needed help with my club hoarding. I have 5 full sets of clubs in my garage (3 of mine and two of my wifes) I do have two extra putters thought. I think we are gong to need a support group!
  3. just read my WITB... I have always been a Taylormade guy. I have never owned anything else from supersteels to speedblades to my second set of 790s. it fits me, they feel the best and I love what brand presents with innovations and design. As a personal confirmation. I was on holiday in Scotland and Ireland for golf the last 10 days and when I left Scotland for Ireland my clubs decided to continue vacationing in Edinburgh airport. I shot sub 80 with my own clubs in Scotland and had to rent clubs in Ireland. 1st round was with Aerojet and shot 87. 2nd day I played Callaway and shot an 84 and Final day I shot and 80 with Titleist clubs and if not for a double bogey (they were blades, which I have never played before). I would have broke 80. But None of the clubs felt right compared to my 790s. Bottom line my Bias is pretty self explanatory
  4. The hardest shot in golf is on the tee box with the group that just let you play through watching!!
  5. again lets put out a COVID golfers etiquette golf book. They (most of them) do not own the course when they pay their greens fees. Apparently rap or country is ok and no need to ask if music or volume is distracting to the players. I do play music but not until introductions are made. and when I do play it I play it so only we can hear it and not the whole course!!
  6. My pops always told me that whites were for 10 handicap and up, 5-10 play blues and 5 and under play tips. always worked for me. P.S. I wish the COVID golfers would take the time to learn the etiquette part of the game.
  7. All my clubs are CP2 jumbo with two wraps. putter has the Taylormade stock grip
  8. I use Golf Pride CP2 grips and rarely clean my grips and it stays tacky all of the time. I also use A copper tech glove and it feels like I have stick-em on my hand
  9. ok so here is a bit of an unconventional path.. head over to your local Walmart and grab the three cheapest brands of golf balls and give them a shot. As goofy as this may sound, when I was changing my swing and lost alot of my speed and distance I bought a dozen nitro's for like 6 dollars and you know what.. they weren't so bad. I mean I was already down in my distance and couldn't seem to keep my "scrub" balls from getting lost so why spend even 20 dollars? But really here is the thing. I buy balls for how they feel and then figure out if they will work for my game. And really if you are hitting 260 with w cheap ball and 270 or 80 with a good ball you have to ask yourself... Self at my stage of skill are the 20 yards really making a difference? if your second shot into the green is 110 or 130 to the green you probably have a club for both right?? top flight golf balls range from $20 - %30 dollars. find a ball that feels good. It will give you some confidence and improve your game. When you lose less balls.. move up to the next tier that feels good and performs a little better and once you get there then 40 dollars for a dozen doesn't feel so bad because you aren't losing as many. I know the purists will poo poo this but high handicappers and new golfers don't need the frustration of losing expensive balls (whatever you perspective is on expensive) AND developing skill. Its downright discouraging. There is my 2 cents for the day
  10. Anybody else have a passion for one Brand?? I am and have always been a Taylormade fan since my first club purchase. I fell in Love with the Supersteels and the Ti bubble and have not found anything non Taylormade that give me the feel and confidence that Taylormade does. EVERYTHING IN MY BAG is Taylormade (except for the obvious) clubs, balls, putters etc. My question is.. Are there others out there that are one brand people? Heck I even told me wife that a condition of her marriage is that she be a Taylormade Girl also
