  1. I'm basically set for my clubs. I might try testing a 4 Hybrid and a 5 Wood to give me some options for different courses. The one thing I do need to get is a light weight stand/carry bag. I have 2 staff type bags now (Long story) that I use primarily with a Clicgear, but I'd like to have a bag to travel with.
  2. I do apologize. I didn't even think about doing a search on the subject. I'm relatively new when it comes to being active here, so I'll file that away and remember to use the search function next time.
  3. This is an absolutely tough question. I voted "Meaningless Event" because I think cheating when it really doesn't matter shows some obvious character flaws and a special level of pathetic. But after giving it a little thought, I'd probably change that to "Important event", due to the effect it could have on a fellow competitor. Stealing a win from a person that is doing everything the right way is awful. Both suck though, for lack of a better term.
  4. I have a Clicgear 3.5, but honestly I don't think you can go wrong with any of the major Brand's offerings.
  5. I seem to have a slight addiction. Let's see your head toppers.
  6. Copper would look fantastic. Those limited MP20's Mizuno released last year looked soooo amazing. Definitely make sure to post yours if you get them done. I'd love to see them.
  7. Thanks! I'm really enjoying the 699 Pros thus far. I agree about the blacked out irons. They just look so "mean", for lack of a better term.
  8. Thanks! The 699-Pros. I really enjoy hitting them. Plus the customer service is top notch.
  9. It's actually the Bettinardi. The Huntington Beach was the first new putter I ever bought for myself so I can't seem to part with it. I'll typically pull it out for fall/winter golf. You got me on the Scotty. The shiny-ness hypnotized me. Lol.
  10. The Bettinardi BB8-Wide. The wider body and the feel off of the face just seems to suit me well. BB8-Wide.

Let's see your flat sticks, folks.
  12. Good to hear that the finish is holding up. I love mine thus far.
  13. Thanks. Here's one without the head covers. http://imgur.com/a/WvpiQsC
  14. Thanks I love the Bettinardi. The feel is nice off the face. I seem to get a truer roll than my prior flatstick (Cleveland Huntington Beach #1) The Lampkin Sink Fit grip feels really good. A nice blend of comfort and tackiness in a size that stops me from getting "handsy", without being jumbo sized. I think it looks great too, so that helps inspire confidence behind the ball. All in all I couldn't be happier.
  15. I really enjoy hitting them. Good feel and sound off of the face. Distance is consistent with the Callaway Rogues I was playing. For the price you're getting a modern players iron that competes with all of the "big boys" at a better value. Where Sub70 absolutely shines is their customer service. Their not going to force clubs in you unless they're right for you. I highly recommend them.
  16. I'm playing the 699 Pro's with the Project X 5.5 graphite shafts. I also purchased a 699U 2 iron that's an absolute rocket launcher from them. I went over and over what I was looking for in my irons with Jason and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have no issue recommending Sub70. While they definately want to sell you clubs, they are going to make sure you are happy with the clubs you get, and are results focused. Best customer service I've ever dealt with in any industry.
  17. So I've been gaming this for the majority of the year. I really like the feel off of the face. Th Lampkin Sink Fit grip offers a nice blend of tackiness and comfort. The putter I was previously using is a Cleveland Huntington Beach #1 with a Winn Pro X Jumbo grip I really didn't have any issues with the HB. I just wanted to try something different. Anyone here using the Betti 2020 BB series? If so, what are your thoughts? Any issues with the finish wearing off quickly, etc?

  20. Hello all, I'm in the Metro-Detroit area. I just started seriously playing in October of last year and became absolutely addicted to the game. My WHS handicap is currently 20.2. As for what I love about golf, what really grabbed me was hitting a 157 yard shot on a Par 3 about 3' from the cup at our company golf outing last September. Everything in that brief second of contact captured me. So a well struck shot, yeah, that's what I love most about the game. That feeling you get when you hit a great shot. I found MGS while looking for club reviews, probably the same as most.. The track I play most at is Rackham Golf Course. It's located right next The Detroit Zoo. It's a Donald Ross designed course. While renovations, and mis-management by the city has it lacking from it's former glory. The last year or so it's improved, and the greens, yeah, they're Ross all the way. I'm a purchasing director for a HVAC distributor here in the Detroit are. My user name is from an old Ice Cube skit from AmeriKKKas Most Wanted. Hit Em Straight, All.
