  1. Just wanted to put this here if our experiences weren't good enough for you. Fair warning, Ian struggled with the PW contact. I would take his commentary with that context.
  2. Thanks for starting this thread! 2023 Goals (I thought I put them down some where but can't find them, so going off of memory) Break 90: Push as I shot 90 on combining 2 nines in a week Had several rounds where combined nines were in low 90s and week I hit 90 on the head. Handicap below 20: Win, barely! 19.4 as of now. Down from a high of 22 earlier in the year. Technically reporting ends Nov 31 here in OR but I am likely not able to play many more rounds P Avg Driver distance of >275 yards: Win, barely! 276 for the year. Speed training and swing work really paid off. If you look how my last 15 nines finished the year, I am 283 so I killed it then. 2024 Goals: Break 80 on 2 combined nines and break 90 in a tournament In my one tournament this year, I was on track to break 100 if not for my driver shaft COG breaking on me. I know I can do it. As for breaking 80 on two combined nines, it is a lofty goal but I feel if I learn my game better, I should be able to manage the course enough to make it happen. Get my handicap below 15 Continuous work on my swing and course management and meditation. Really hope the game just starts to flow with me. Along with this, I want to get my GIR up 20 40%. 2023 was 21%. Have a 3-putt % <10% I finished 2023 on average of 20% which is terrible. A lot of it was distance control issues that I really grinded on the last half of the year. The other is technique which I am working on now and the offseason in hopes I stop pulling putts left. Bonus: Take my daughter out for a couple rounds Just to spend daddy/daughter time. We love being outdoors together and I hope as she gets older she doesn't mind walking more. Bonus 2: Keep having fun everytime I golf. My wellness and meditation Journey have really helped me calm my emotions and manage my expectations on the course. If I have a bad round, I remember to just enjoy nature, the sun rise, just being out of the house. Makes the game more enjoyable and not a chore (which it shouldn't be, its our hobby!)
  3. its a dangerous game. Throw in all the shafts out there and it is a dog chasing its tail. (i traded my Rogue White shaft for a Accra TZ5, stay tuned).
  4. reviving this as I am seeing Sub70 now selling their balls (they were once partnered with snell instead). Interesting and the clear balls are still $58 a dozen
  5. before anyone talks about getting a new driver
  6. Nice work! always play our best just before the offseason rolls around. Now maintain over the offseason
  7. For me: maybe wedges but my Cleveland’s still have a lot of life in them maybe a fit driver but my current setup is totally gameable for me my iron play has me thinking of more players like setup but I just need to stop that nonsense. although sub70 and Takomo look on fire! balls, may ask for left dash as I really don’t need more spin. I am able to one hop and stop my XVs. I wish the new snell balls were closer to the mtb -x. lessons. My last of my three pack is gonna be used in a month or two. Did have the chance at a 5 month off-season plan for $700 (live, chat plus submissions which would be about $70 a lesson). Just can’t drop that amount right now. edit: forgot I need shoes. My adidas are starting to peel on the toe from my trail side slide
  8. Used the DI a couple times today from the turf. One memorable one was my last hole. Wanted to hit something low to get back across one fairway and back onto mine. I hit it full and flush and this thing just launched high. Nipped a tree branch and fell. Had it not, I likely woulda only been ~60 yards out. It just went.
  9. Hole after 3rd blow up today. Awesome drive. Pitch to middle of green. Just left birdie short.
  10. Rough nine today. Played back nine of a course I haven’t played in two years. First time this nine from tips. This nine always game me trouble. It’s tight and requires shaping or dropping down several clubs on some holes from the tee, which I didn’t do and it got me in trouble. Aim points were off on some tee shots which lead to penalties or punch outs. Did have three pars though. Just too many other big numbers.
  11. Date 10/22/2023 Course Name Meriwether national Gross Score 97 Course Handicap 21 Gross Strokes over/under par 26 Net Score to Par 5 Net Score 76 Net Birdies or better 6 Longest Drive 289 10 days between nines and it shows. Hit some great shots but others not so good. Struggled mentally on my nine today to start.
  12. How are you guys getting these prototypes?
  13. It was only live for 48 hours after they fixed the code issue
  14. Been rough getting to the course due to weather and late sun rises. Been doing some swing work. My coach has been trying to get me to get my arms moving more as I have a tendency for them to lag behind my hips. Perfect for NTC. video is 25/50/75/100 speed feels. Work in progress but feeling good. Jayson also says I am on the right track.
  15. Nice snag! too bad its likely too cold to want to play them. Those balls just go but I can't imagine playing fall golf with them.
  16. btw, this is somewhat getting into the LD space as well.
  17. Putt well testers! This will be interesting to see how the tech works for everyone
  18. I got your solution. Always play at sunrise. I notice maybe now that fall is here I am down half a club or so but I usually do lay in the 50s or 60s. I dislike sun.
  19. Morning all. Got fogged out again so hit the range. Did lots with my daughter yesterday and preschool pumpkin patch fundraiser today. Have a great day all!
  20. They will. People were doing that deal plus a $20 text sign up and getting 4doz for $100 last year
