We almost ended up living on a course but thankfully didn’t. Turns out 6 months after we would have moved there they shut the course down. Not sure they are maintaining it at all. On the flip side since it was closed and would have been tight be hind the house maybe that would have meant free golf, not good but free.

I have not played them but in looking around a bit it looks a lot like the Nike Crush ball and packaging. Not sure if that was made in another factory or at Nike but could be that Bigg’s is just a name on a ball that has been out there before. For $29 I might be looking somewhere else but that is just my gut feel. It would be great to get feedback from someone who has used the ball.

So not sure this will count but this has come up at our club in the past. When someone is getting strokes on a hole you cannot make a zero. The story goes that some one was getting 2 strokes on a par 3 and made birdie so they would be net 0. Not sure the official rule on this but for us you can only make a minimum of net 1 on a hole. Always found this funny.

That is a bad break. For the final night of the league it would have been nice to have a sudden death playoff or something. I am not a big fan of scorecard playoffs.

Most of the time I go to Rick Shiels and then see what YouTube recommends. Also me and my golf is towards the top of my list too.

For most the season I was a 30 handicap, yes I need to practice my short game more, and I play most weekends with a group that includes a 2.4, 6.8, and 16. We move fast to keep pace of play up and all respect the course. I would hope this type of play is not only found at a privet course (currently what I play on)

Not every day for me. I have moved my eating window a few times but right now I eat early stop around 1pm after lunch. I am picking back up to 3-4 days a week to start losing again.

In the last year I am down 40lb and down 15 since the start of the golf season. This has been a lot of hard work and watching what I eat. That being said I am stuck with about 15-20lb left to get to my goal. Going back to the basics that helped with the 40lb loss. Low to no carbs and intermittent fasting.

I went private this year and it has been great. Similar to you under 35 so no voting rights but less total cost. I have been getting out more and also jumping on for quick 9’s as I can. The club I am at is also part of a network system so that opens up the opportunity to play courses while traveling too. All that said I am not sure that I am really saving on my price per round since it is a bit expensive. In the past when I have played a lot it was on a public course. I would say the main difference is how busy it gets in the summer for me. The private course is more predictable while the public could be under 4 hours or almost 6 depending on the day. Make and make sure there is not an up-charge for the league as some places you need to pay extra.

I have a 50, 54, and 60 right now. Before I would use the 60 a lot to try and get “spin” on the ball but 50% of the time I would skull it over the green. That is when I got the 50 and now use that most of the time unless I am inside of 100 then I will use the 54 for more of a full shot. If I were to add another club and one needed to come out of the bag I do this the 60 would be the first to go.

Looking at getting a new iron set, mine are going on 4-5 years old. I have tested a few at the local golf shop but nothing is performing much different from what I have today. A bit more spin is all I am seeing but that is expected. Anyone else have this experience? I hate to drop a bunch of money on new stuff that preforms the same as what I have. Thanks

I have been using my new MG2 for a few weeks now and really like the feel. I have 2 other Taylormade wedges that I have used for the last few years and this one just feels different. It also passes the eye test as I seem to be getting more spin on the ball than I have before with the other wedges. Would like to know others thoughts on them. Thanks.

145 all of the time. I a living the 175 some of the time right now and it can change over the course of a round depending on how sluggish I feel. To know it will only go 145 would be nice vs. thinking it will go ~150 and blow it by the green because I actually hit it well.

Simple but effective. Set up an indoor hitting bay using 1/2 the garage. Anyone else have a good indoor set up?
