Hey all, Excited to get involved in the community: I have been playing since I was in eight grade. I love being outside and the feeling you get when you flush a shot just how you wanted to. I came to MGS because I was tired of trying to figure out the golf equipment world on my own and I believe this to be the most unbiased place for information. I currently reside in North Jersey and I play most of my rounds at Preakness Valley in Totawa, NJ. There are a lot of courses in the area that offer up different styles of play. The winters make it next to impossible to play. I work as a college administrator and adjunct professor. Username is just my name (Jason Smith).
I joined this community after much debate. I spent months looking at posts on social media from MGS and then doing my own fact checking. Point blank I think there is a need for more people to be at the table when it comes to providing information to the average golfer/ consumer. It has gotten to the point where the cost of products and the life cycle that the big brands run out are too high, too short and really unsustainable. Excited to see what sort of content I will come across as a member of this community.
