  1. I’ve always had good response from emailing them. Both when I cancelled and restarted my subscription.
  2. Good for her. I hope she wins with this ball. Im sure that would make people question how much they spend on golf balls.
  3. That was a good read. I would like to see MGS do a similar study and publish the data such as compression, weight, and diameter before and after a one year submersion.
  4. It was not in its own pitch mark, therefore couldn’t be embedded. Good catch. I missed that.
  5. I've marked a red line on the picture. This was taken from directly on top. What you're saying is the red line is what would be considered the "edge" of the bunker? I couldn't find any definition in the rules on what "inside the edge" means.
  6. So I hit my third short on a par 5 into a green side bunker. The grass at the front lip of the bunker is sort of folded over at the edge. My ball rolled under this fold. The bottom of the ball was touching the sand and the top was touching the folded over grass/dirt. I attached two pictures. One is what I saw when I walked up and the second is taken front directly over top of the ball position. I initially took it as an unplayable lie, but as I read the definition of an embedded ball, it say, “part of the ball is below the level of the ground.” This was grass and dirt turf that it was sitting below. Now, I kind of think it fits the definition of an embedded ball. Anyone have thoughts?
  7. I agree on being able to post swings. If I’m not mistaken, the Cogorno site allows this as well. Does you friend have any feedback on those? I would assume the feedback is something a little less than a full blown online lesson such as on Skillest?
  8. I use my Apple Watch 6 with Arcoss all the time and it works great.
  9. #1 - Finish the beta version already! #2 - The “personal bests” don’t register on 9 hole rounds. #3 - Easy way to differentiate stats by season or some type of compare two date ranges function. I’d like to compare last year to this year, etc. #4 - Add wedge icons for pairing 48, 46, 44 degrees as well as chipper. I like to use the x and xx clubs for experimenting.
  10. Has anyone used and has feedback they can share from any of the paid golf websites, like Meandmygolf.com, Cogornogolf.com, or athleticmotiongolf.com? I’m thinking about paying for some of the content/services, but would like to hear if anybody would share their experience.
  11. I’ve done this numerous times over the past 3-4 years. I’ve done both exchanges in the store and filing a claim thru the “insurance” website for the gift card for the purchase amount. It’s a great deal if you know the correct steps and not let the time limit expire. I always make sure to keep the receipt for the purchase together with the original packaging in a cupboard so as not to lose it to make the whole process easier.
  12. I know I’m a little late to the party here, but I have a CCE mat. I love being able to put a real tee into it, but I do get some wrist pain when using it on my garage floor in the winter. If I were to do it again, I would have probably bought a different mat.
  13. I’m an Arccos user with an Apple Watch. My round tonight had no missed shots. I do have the latest P3 putter sensor which I just got a couple months ago. The only interaction I had tonight with Arccos was marking putts from the fringe as chips and the pin locations. Both with my watch as I was walking off the green. I do concede though that it’s not a perfect system and I do have the occasional missed shot that I have to add via the phone app. The thing that bugs me most about the Arccos system is the web page interface. I think with all the data they collect, it could be much better. I’m not a big fan of the subscription price, but it did help to buy myself a gift certificate during a 20% off sale around Christmas!
  14. Arccos works great with my Apple Watch. My phone stays in the cart. They just added a new feature that allows you to start a round right from the Watch, so it’s much more convenient.
  15. I agree on Michael Block. I’ve enjoyed watching that story unfold. I’ve read somewhere that they are considering reducing the number of PGA pros that are allowed in, which I think would be a shame.
  16. I was thinking about the mat. I have a country club elite 3x5 mat. It’s nice in that it can take a tee, but I think if I were to do it again, I’d have leaned towards the fiberbuilt for the injury protection. Good luck!
  17. I have the Spornia 8 foot net and it’s great. It is expensive, but the well worth the money in my humble opinion.
  18. I would ask a pro while getting a lesson. They may even say to loft up to 12 degrees, who knows. In my humble opinion, it’s better to be a little shorter and in the short grass as opposed to bombing them OB. Good luck!
  19. Yes, if you go activity, click on the “more..” tab. Then it should prompt you to post. Although, depending on what state you’re playing in, you may not be able to post prior to a certain date. It’s April 1st here in Michigan according to the USGA.
  20. I agree. It would be interesting to see MGS do some type of on course testing to see if the Ballnamic recommendations actually result in better scores.
  21. I tried Ballnamic and it also fit me into the Bridgestone Tour BX at 94.5%. Chromesoft X was at 93.2%. It was surprising to me because my driver swing speed is 93-95mph. Ball speed in the 130’s. Well under the 105 mph type of player that the marketing says that ball is for. It’s still winter in Michigan, but I was able to play a round in Alabama a couple weeks ago and really liked the BX. I plan to put it in the bag this season.
  22. My prediction would put Nelly Korda at #1 and Lydia Ko at #2. I would agree with most of the remaining top 10.
  23. That’s great news. I’ve been on the fence on an Awesome golf software purchase. I did the trial and really liked it, but if I were to later upgrade to a different launch monitor, it’s good to know I could take the software with me.
  24. If you were to switch from the R10 to the MLM2, can you transfer your Awesome Golf subscription, or is that bound forever to your R10?
