I started playing golf Summer ‘18 and currently a 15hcp, so still new to the game. I currently game a Mizuno ST190 with Atmos Blue 5s shaft. Today at the range I said to my uncle let me see your driver and I hit a few. I’m not sure what shaft or weight of the Strata driver is, I could feel it being slightly heavier. I could see at the range I did lose some yards when I hit his driver, but they were almost dead straight. So it made me curious to maybe look at the Atmos Blue 7s shaft replacing my current shaft. Seeing they are expensive, I was curious to know instead of changing shafts could I just add some lead tape to the shaft or the driver head? Or is that silly, and I should do it the right way- buy a new shaft?
