Anyone have any ideas or concrete info on whether or not the manufacturers and retailers are going to fire sale the equipment? Or will manufacturers just hold their new releases for another year? There was an article on this a while back but wanted to hear if there are new ideas. I remember back in 2008 or 2009 Callaway gave me free fairway metal when I bought a Diablo driver. I’m looking for new irons and might be prompted to buy if the $1500-$1200 price point comes to sub $999. Thoughts?

Two days after my 5 over 77 I shot a 4 over at a 9 hole executive course. WTF?!

What’s the new driver?

I did something today I’ve neve done before. I shot a round in the 70s (79) one week after shooting a 77. Two consecutive rounds in the 70s. I’m stoked. Another goal achieved. Aguila Gold course PHX, AZ and Verrado Founders course Buckeye, AZ.

Back in the early 2000s I had the Scotty Cameron Bulls Eye with no flange. Loved it. But eventually sold it. Regret not keeping it.

I have a question...what’s the craziest thing you’ve seen on a golf ball that you found while playing? Pictures, or written sharpie? I found a ball with hand written sharpie that said “**** Jay Cutler”

Hi there, I added a photo of WITB. I live in Phoenix and have golfed at least once a week during pandemic as golf courses are open here in AZ. I learned to play in Northern Virginia when I started playing at age 20. I quit drinking 2& 1/2 years ago and golf is my rehab. I got the Arccos system two years ago and have worked hard to bring my handicap down from a 15 to a 9.5. I’m finally feeling confident enough where I’m considering joining a league or tour like the Golf Channel pro am. I don’t know yet.

I’m at a 9.5. Perhaps one step at a time. Play some tournaments which I haven’t yet and try and get better that way. Thanks

Looks a lot like the Spornia but cheaper. Anyone know if they are similar or is it just that they look similar? You hit driver into it? The Spornia got good reviews on the MGS best nets article.

How do you like the tour links? Thought about getting one. Have it in the garage during the summer and in the shade as I live in Phoenix and Th em our in backyard during the gorgeous weather months.

Looking forward to a more in-depth review if you get e chance. Hopefully it will work on the bigger screen of the iPad. Any ambition to get a projector?

Wellputt mat. It’s already helped my putting. I have two young girls and it has helped them with limited use as we just got it. Really helps alignment, target acquisition, distance control.

Is it just for college kids or people in consistent tournaments?

I have both. Adidas 360 spiked have had two pair and they are the most comfortable spiked shoes I’ve ever worn. And I love the BOA. I have spikeless also. Ecco BIOM Hybrid 2 and just recently got the Adidas Code Chaos. My god the Code Chaos are amazingly comfortable for walking around. More flexible and cushiony than spiked shoes. I have not tried them in wet conditions though. If it were a very hilly or wet track I would go spiked. if it’s a nice dry walk spike less.

I once played on New Year’s day and didn’t reach a par three over the pond. It was frozen so when the ball hit it, it made an incredible and weird sound and the ball bounced up to the green! Yes I’ve had some frost delays here. But rare. I don’t miss the sting in my hands. I’ll play in rain. I’ll play in the cold. I won’t play when it’s cold and raining!

That’s a bomb drive in those conditions and your size. Well done. I remember those cool days. I learned to play gold just outside Washington DC in Northern VA. Fall and winter gold were fun!
