  1. I almost had a heart attack too. Was worried DK was going to drop that 4th down pass in the endzone.
  2. You should see how many putters I have gone through since December 2019 LOL.
  3. For sure. I have been lucky with LAB Golf, they have respond to emails, call me back, and even respond to my text messages. And this is all after the sale when i am trying to switch out the shaft myself, which i don't think any OEM or small company would help to answer.
  4. Sorry to hear about the delay and lack of communication. For me, timely communication is important.
  5. Nice. I went the cheap route, got the Ebay factory second, and then separately got a good deal on a stability shaft and installed it yesterday and regripped this morning. It is possible that my self-installation of the stability shaft could mess with the balance slightly, but they said likely not noticeable. If the DF 2.1 continues to work out well, i have a bad feeling that I will sell this one and get a brand new one. That probably doesn't make sense, but if i were to by a brand new one, it would be perfectly balanced to spec including shaft selection and grip selection.
  6. Seems like a good marketing tactic for a smaller company. Don't have to pay pros to use, just offer free product to social media influencers.
  7. My best shot of the day yesterday was almost making a 50 foot putt (missed by 1 foot) with my new LAB Golf DF 2.1. Normally a missed putt isn't that awesome, but this putt was uphill two levels. If I hit the putt short at all, it would have rolled back to where i was putting from or worse. If I hit it long, I would have rolled off the back of the green.
  8. I have a station i use for clubmaking tasks, but half the time I change grips outside without a vice grip.
  9. Yep changing grips is easy. The hard part is trying to save the non-rubber putter grips. Those take a lot of patience if you want to try to save them
  10. For anyone considering changing out the stock KBS shaft with a Stability shaft and are considering doing it themselves, two things based on my experience from today: If you use the method of installing the Stability shaft where you cut off part of the old shaft, the stock KBS shaft is heavily tipped. Stability shaft says to cut 8.25" above the putter head, but if you measure the diameter of the stock KBS shaft in the Stability shaft, it is above 0.400" which won't fit into any of the Stability shaft adapters If you want to use the method where you put in a full Stability shaft including the straight in tip that comes with it, this one is not easy either. Some of the older versions of the DF 2.1 (I think Matt said March and earlier), uses an interference fit (i.e. not just putting the epoxy on the tip, but pounding the shaft into the head for a super tight fit). LAB does not recommend pulling the shaft on the versions with the interference fit, but I did it anyway. Even with a lot of heat, its not as easy as pulling an iron or putter with a steel shaft. I had to keep twisting with all of my strength to get that thing out. Got it out successfully though, and then put in the new tip that comes with the Stability shaft by putting on epoxy and pounding it in with a rubber mallet.
  11. Putting my DF 2.1 in play later today, will update with how it goes. One thing I will say is that LAB Golf has great customer service. I had a question about self installing a stability shaft on a DF 2.1 and Matt from LAB Golf gave me a call and talked through a few things to look out for when installing a stability shaft into a putter.
  12. I can't wait to retire (i am only 36, so that is a long time from now). Hoping my finances allow me to have a winter home and a regular home, so i can play good weather golf year around. I have always been pretty conservative with retirement savings and make a pretty good living right now.
  13. Sorry to hear about your brother.
  14. Yeah i wouldn’t buy it. Their excuse was that there first batch had adapter issues because of “bad epoxy”. Thats the worst excuse ever. I heard the tips weren’t even prepped. A company that sells shafts should know how to prep and epoxy a tip.
  15. Good work. I had the version 1 of this (with the insert) and it didnt last very long in the bag and then i recently sold it.
  16. I have a Galway Bay rain jacket and Proquip pants. I went Proquip on the pants because they offer shorter length pants than 30”
  17. This thread has potential, i like where it is going
  18. Looks wise, not really any adjustment, except for making sure the putter is grounded completely flat and not toe up at all. I guess the other partially looks related adjustment is moving the ball more forward in the stance. At first, it looks way too far forward and you feel like there is no way you can hit the ball on the correct path, but it works, you have to get used to trusting it.
  19. Puts a really nice roll on the ball
  20. Umm, this is a new one for me. Create your own thread to enter a review...
  21. If I am fortunate enough to get selected for the Titleist testing opportunity, I am going to convince my wife I need to buy an iPhone 12 so i can take better pictures for the review than my iPhone 6S. If I do not get selected, then I need to find another reason to justify to my wife why I need an iPhone 12...
  22. Here is my new LAB DF2.1. If anyone is curious how it compares in size to another mallet, see below. It is enormous.
  23. Just got an absurd deal on a Stability shaft, so that will be going in as soon as i get my new LAB grip.
