  1. Larry Fitzgerald and Steph Curry since both are avid players and have personalities
  2. I have about 40 others in case this cover starts giving me bad luck lol
  3. I’m a huge fan of the head shape and sound, and as far as performance I haven’t found another driver that’s a better fit for me
  4. I’m extremely happy with it and glad that I switched from the atmos blue. I have similar issues as you in terms of angle of attack creating a lowish ball with high spin and this has definitely helped. I think going with the lighter weight shaft also helped me out a lot.
  5. I really love the combo. I tried it with an atmos shaft and the difference was night and day for me
  6. I had a similar experience to others that have commented. I was at CC for a full bag fitting and the putter portion was the least valuable for me. Seeing the data was somewhat interesting, but putting is so personal for me that the science didn't really tell the full story. The putters that they suggested didn't fit my eye, and I was basically told that me current putter, although it was not well suited for my stroke, was probably my best bet since I had adapted to it over the years. I'm glad that they didn't try to sell me very hard, but there were also very few takeaways.
  7. Hopefully they offer their demo program in a combo set as well. I would love to try these out but would want to hit both head styles before buying.
  8. I live in Simi Valley and I'm always trying to get out and play in the area, so hit me up if you need a single
  9. I use both as well. I have an older GPS watch that I leave attached to my bag and can use for quick yardages like lay up distances, par 4 yardages, etc., and a range finder that I use for shooting pins and specific landmarks like trees, bunkers, etc.. I think it saves me time this way and I like having access to the information.
  10. That’s a bummer. I don’t think I’ll ever let this one out of the collection.
  11. I love it! It has helped eliminate left misses which were a bit of an issue with my last hybrid, and it’s definitely long
  12. It seems like most 3 woods are adjustable enough that you would be able to just add loft to reach 4 wood territory. That’s at least what I did with my epic flash before getting a 5 wood. I know what you mean about long irons though. Occasionally I’m in a spot where I need to hit it low out of the trees, and since I only go as low as a 5 iron it can be tough, but that’s a trade-off I can live with.
  13. After a year of overhauling my bag for the first time in about 5 years, here is my current setup. Driver: Mizuno ST190 with Mitsubishi Tensei CK Orange (ST200 headcover) 3 and 5 wood: Callaway Epic Flash with Tensei CK Blue Hybrid: SIM 4 hybrid Callaway Apex 19 combo irons 5 - PW Cleveland RTX 3 50* and 56* Taylormade Hi-Toe 60* Putter: Scotty Cameron heavy flange oil can bullseye with sight dot (have had for close to 10 years)
  14. I think it would be helpful to know your true carry distances with all of these clubs. I was in a similar situation and opted for for a four wedge setup because my apex pro PW is 45*, so I went with a 50, 56, and 60. I may end up bending my PW to 47 to close the gap, because from 105 to 120 I feel a bit uncomfortable having to hit limited PW shots. That said, I'm curious how you use your long irons/hybrids and how far you fly them. For me, I went with 3 wood, 5 wood, 4 hybrid, and the gapping is really smooth.
  15. Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself really quickly. Feel free to hit me up if you're interested in playing! I've been playing for close to 20 years with a few breaks in there. I'm currently a 6 handicap, so breaking 80 usually feels like a good day on the course. What do you love about golf? The constant challenge, and opportunity to hang with friends outside for a few hours. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I don't know any other members, but I'm somewhat of a gear enthusiast and love hearing other people's perspectives on equipment, the game, courses, etc. Where are you from? What is your home course? I'm from Simi Valley, CA, in Ventura county. I mostly play local courses like Simi Hills, Rustic Canyon, and Tierra Rejada as well as the occasional trip to Palm Springs for a weekend of desert golf. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The best thing is the weather and being able to play year round. The worst thing is the cost and volume of players on weekends which leads to 5+ hour rounds. What do you do for a living? I work in the entertainment legal field at one of the studios. How’d you pick your user name? Simple, it's my real name. Nothing to hide here.
