  1. Pretty happy with it at the moment. Just changed my shaft in the Driver from X-Stiff to Stiff. Hit it pretty good on the range the first go around. We'll see how it goes on the course.
  2. Nice set up. I'm thinking when I do go for new irons I'll at least test some Mizunos. I think the JPX would be a nice fit. Have you ever hit the JPX tour?
  3. I agree with this whole heartedly. Timing is going to be a big key to strike on where you hit it on the face and how much spin you generate. I would think with swing speed in that range that you would be searching for a little more spin and launch to keep the ball in the air a little longer. SubZ heads usually have the weight in the front of the head to knock off spin and launch. My thought would be to try to test something with a little more forgiveness that will stay in the air a little longer. Perhaps you could trade yours or sell yours and find one secondhand that is a better fit. I think you may see that in the long run you may give up some distance here and there but, if you average it all out and those low low spinners that fall out of the air will bring the average way down than one with the MOI towards the back of the club that will be more consistent.
  4. Yeah, I've always had a pretty good relationship with driver. I put a new one in the bag last year TM M1 and once I found the spot it liked to be hit it was pretty consistent. I recently put a new shaft in it and took it to the range. I hit the first 5 exactly where and how I wanted. I was like this is it!! and then I duck hooked the next one... Hit a couple more good ones to erase the memory and then put it away.
  5. Very nice looking bag. I've always wanted to give one of those Evenroll putters a test. I've got 716 AP2s and I love the crisp sound off the face...
  6. A new Fave for me is Vokey 54 degree with Frankenstein Grind. I bought it second hand at a shop here in Plano and I love it. I wanted a 54 for gapping purposes and don't love paying over $100 for a new wedge. You couldn't even see all the #s on the club because they had put their own grind on it. However, I love it. I rarely hit that odd thin or chunk around the greens anymore. Worst has got to be 6 iron. Never really got along with 5 and 6 iron. I haven't had as much of a problem these days but, it's got to be all mental. I can stripe a 4 iron all day but, will fat a 6 iron if I'm not careful. I think I have confidence with my 4 iron because as a junior I would tee off with 4 iron if I was having a bad day with my woods. It was always my fairway finder.
  7. I used to carrry a 2 iron back in the day. I don't think I ever hit it too often. Now that I don't play as often I carry a 3 hybrid and have recently put a 17 degree 5 wood in the bag. The 5 wood launches a little higher than my 3 wood that is set at 14.5 and carries just a little less. I can hit the hybrid and 5 wood both well off the tee and on the deck. If I have to drop a club I think I'd lean towards the hybrid and keep the 5 wood in. I feel just a fraction more confident with the 5 wood at the moment.
