  1. Who uses barefoot/minimalist shoes as their golf shoe, and what kind? Last season I picked up a pair of New Balance minimus shoes and enjoyed them, but unfortunately they started to rip at the top and I had to get rid of them. I walk all of my rounds, so the idea of a barefoot/minimalist shoe that might help rebuild my arches and all that jazz sounded like a good idea for all that time I spend on my feet. I find it difficult to find Golf-specific shoes like this, so I've started to branch out to trail running shoes and other types in an attempt to find something that works. I bought a pair of VivoBarefoot Trail SG's to try, but they are causing blisters right now so they may not even make it to the golf course.
  2. Hello from BC, Canada! How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I've been golfing for 3-4 years now, but only 2 seasons playing regularly. I average 100, with my usually score being 2-3 strokes over or under 100 depending on the day. What do you love about golf? Lots! It's great to be out in nature and experience different courses. I love when you play a hole/round exactly how you wanted and it works out correctly. I love the strategizing you can put into the game. And of course, I love going from birdie putts to bogeys! :') What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I appreciate the unique approach to the sport and industry! There are a lot of traditionalists in the game, it's nice to see a collective that isn't afraid to take a different look at things. Where are you from? What is your home course? Pass! What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Long season is nice! Worst thing is that it isn't year around I suppose. What do you do for a living? Pass! How’d you pick your user name? I'm keen on anonymity, and bogeys are what I tend to shoot!
