  1. Good Friday Morning Spies! Nice Central Florida morning, 65 degrees. It is supposed to reach a high of 92 degrees and sunny today. Finishing first cup of espresso. No golf today, Ranger duties today. Should be busy given the good weather today! Good Community Call yesterday, thanks again Jamie! Have a Great Day Everyone! Hit’em Straight️
  2. Good Morning Spies, I've tried posting two other times this morning from my phone & showed it "submitted" however, nothing appears. Hmm wonder where it posted? LOL, maybe to another Forum Had a 7am tee time and walked 18 holes. Beautiful Central Florida morning, 66 degrees, a bit of a cloud cover which made the morning walk comfortable. I did not play too well, just a lot of distractions this morning. Trying to upload a photo but getting a couple of error messages. Started working from home this afternoon, on my 4th cup of espresso of the day. I think maybe I should go back to bed and get up in time for the Community Call? Happy Birthday @GolfSpy SAM ! Have a Great Day Everyone!! Hit'em Straight! Here is the photo looking down the 10th Fairway this morning at 6:50am:
  3. Great questions @GolfSpy_APH! IMO #2 is a toss-up between Rory, Xander, Aberg & Wyndham Clark. If Aberg continues his consistent play, he could become a solid #2. breaking out of the pack. Rory seems to be struggling right now with his swing change. Something appears to be off. Xander quietly appears in Top 5, but just can't win. Aberg has been really good & could be on the verge of being a Superstar & surpassing Scheffler as #1. Scottie is quite impressive this season. His iron play is fantastic! The LPGA players are having to deal with their Scottie in Nelly Korda!
  4. T200 PW - used generally for full swings 118 to 129 yds Callaway 48 degree 10/S - Jaws Raw - Full, chip (30 to 40yds) & pitch shots. Full swings 100 to 118 yds Vokey SM9 54/ 12D wedge - 85 to 100 yds - full, chip (from 20yds to 35 yd chipping) & sand shots Vokey SM9 58/ 08M wedge - 55 to 85 yds - full, chip (max 20yd chips) & sand shots. This club is used most often for sand shots. For fluffy sand shots, I'll use the 54-degree.
  5. Walked 18 holes this morning, I hadn't played since last Thursday. Hit a few balls over the weekend. Worked specifically on a couple of things. In anticipation of new irons, I reset the 3 & 4 Rescue clubs. Setting 3 rescue to 18 degree from 19 degrees & the 4 rescue setting to 21 degrees from 22 degrees. The results weren't bad. Had one 3 rescue off the tee that was a poor drive. Too much movement during swing. The 4 rescue was hit well and long with baby draws. I reached a par 5 in 2. The drive was about 290yds leaving 197 yards to the hole, a bit uphill. I choked down on the 4 rescue & hit a nice shot ending up about 14 feet from hole. (Missed the eagle putt) Specifically worked on takeaway and making sure for the first 7-8 inches my hands stay quiet allowing my shoulders to start the swing along the toe line & making sure the club comes up vs going out too long & too low. Had a couple of memory lapses during the round on tee shots, specifically with the irons. One led to a double bogey, hitting the tee shot OB on a par 3, which is a rarity. Honestly, it was a poor setup, which led to a poor swing causing me slide instead of turning and get ahead of the shot. However, it did wake me up for the rest of the round. Playing again tomorrow at 7am, will be working on the same things, especially patience & tempo.
  6. Welcome @Jazzdrummer420!! You'll or (Y'all for @sirchunksalot ) will find a Great group at MGS!
  7. Congrats Testers @cnosil @Shlax @Samuel09152 @arodrig29! Great opportunity & thanks to Ghost Golf for supporting MGS!! Looking forward to your reviews!
  8. Good Day Spies! Late Tuesday post, worked opening shift at golf course this morning - 6am, cart barn duties. That was fun! Covering for vacation, plus have to pay for the new irons coming in . Beautiful Central Florida morning & afternoon, sadly No golf today, but planning on walking 18 holes at 7am tomorrow. But have this nagging feeling I have something to do Wednesday morning other than golf. Congrats to all the Lab Putter testers!! Really looking forward to that testing. Something about the LAB putters just convinced yet. Have a Great Day Everyone! Hit'em straight!
  9. Good post @chisag! Thanks for sharing. Thought it odd, the report of him leaving for LIV would occur this week. But he's in the RBC Heritage field. Would not put it beyond Norman & Co for being the "Leakers", to create constant turmoil.
  10. Congratulations TESTERS!! What a great group! Still have reservations about the LAB Putters, really looking forward to reading your testing results! Have fun!!
  11. Well, that would be disappointing news for Rory to defect to a competing Tour - LIV. I am not going to get into the politics of the LIV, but will say, I've not missed one who fled the PGA, including Rahm and DeChambeau. I've not watched 1 second of the LIV & have no interest in watching. Greg Norman made hundreds of millions of $$ building the Shark Brand as a Member of the PGA Tour including being a fan favorite. It's been his mission to start a competing tour for the past 30+ yrs. New players emerge on the PGA Tour as Norman poaches. But there will come a time this all comes to a head and in the end, the fans lose. If true, Adios Rory!
  12. Agree with @sirchunksalot, what a good looking putter & love the Meadowwood Club wood design at the bottom of the putter. The face of the putter is cool as well. I see why you like it Jamie! Great history article too!!
  13. Congrats on your 1,000 Post @TJ Hall!! Here's to another 1,000 - Cheers
  14. Have about 51 rounds in this year.
