  1. I bought a Tour Edge Driver and have been very happy with them. (C721, 722 and 723 - more on that lower down) THey are designed for seniors and have a lot of forgiveness. The Real dividing line here is money. Cerrtainly the Calloway, Taylor Made, Ping and Titlist drivers are great and you will be happy with them, but can you afford to spend $500+ on a golf club?! IF you can, then definately stick with the Ping. TE comes in around $350 and can be found for less. Now why did I go through three different models? They are a little fragile. One cracked at the back, the other took a nick when on the driving range, Both times Tour Edge backed up their Lifetime warranty by sending me a replacement- what ever the current model was! Beleive me , They are a much easier company to deal with then Ping is! If you think you can get a timely response from TM or Callaway if you have a problem- then stick with them. (I do love the Paradym line, just bought a 5 wood and will soon get a hybrid)
  2. came into some money so I went to buy a 5 wood. Only ones in stock were a Callaway Paradyme and a TM stealth (wonder why that is?). Tried them both- Callaway felt just a little lighter and easier to swing so took that one (@ $389!!!!). So far I am loving it and definately hitting more consistently then my 3 wood.
  3. Does anyone else ever experience glare from the top of the putter on sunny days during a round? I am using a black finished putter now partially for this reason. I am considering a new putter and like the TM Del Monte blade with this "hydro blast" finish and am wondering if it will have the same shine from this surface as I have experienced on other bright metal finishes. ANy exprience to share out there?
  4. I received the same email and my question about it is not the quality of the club itself (which is allegedly free except for the shipping I guess) but more "what's the catch?" . Somebody mentioned Warrior Golf in this thread and that is a perfect example. I think Warrior clubs are perfectly good. The problem with them is they use the club and other giveaways to get your contact info and then RELENTLESSLY market time shares/condo sales to you. So wha tis Patriot Golf selling? Has anyone done this - received the driver and then had to fend off telemarketing calls?
