  1. Where did you see that? I thought it said that the sweepstakes ended sep 16th
  2. I've been lucky enough to win a couple lately. One was a caddyshack towel and the other is a a fitting and a set of clubs from Honma. Once I finally get to do that (hopefully this year) I will make a thread about it.
  3. Golf digest is partnering with Taylormade to give away a bag and 14 clubs for DJs win. https://www.golfdigest.com/TaylorMade-Golf-Bag-and-Clubs-Giveaway?sc_src=email_550148&sc_lid=33583547&sc_uid=t1FMu8UR1J&sc_llid=114473&utm_source=us-emarsys&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20201109_gd-full-bag_brd&sc_eh=c501849d8addb6691
  4. Great review, glad to see that it worked out so well for you. So do you think that after testing this club and improving from your current gamer that you could justify spending $650 on it? Seems like a lot but you aren't the only one that has mentioned the great quality a few times.
  5. Loving these reviews guys! It looks like everyone so far has seen some good distance gains! I noticed that @golfingbrock said that he hasn't been fit before and @Getoffmylawn has spent a good bit of time at golftec judging by his posts, but I'm curious as to whether the other two were fit for their current drivers before trying out the Honma and how much they can say that being fitted for the Honma along with the interchangeable weight system helped with any distance gains?
  6. Didn't buy it, but I did just win this cool Caddyshack towel from Bag Boy Golf. Dont think i can bring myself to add it to the bag so it should make a good addition to the man cave.
  7. If you have instagram go visit the pages for Callaway and Taylormade. They are both doing giveaways for the pga championship this week. They each have staff bags with the San Francisco Giants logos on them and headcovers to go along with it.
  8. Let me know how this works out for you. I just picked up a new Bettinardi today and have been considering a stability shaft. Any idea where I can get one at a decent price?
  9. Trying out a new bourbon tonight. Its been a long week... Anyone had this one before?
  10. I wasn't in any way trying to convince someone to change their swing to look like Matthew Wolff's. The reason for the post was just out of curiosity to see if anyone had tried his swing or something similar. What got me interested to test it out is how much power he is able to generate so much power despite not being the biggest guy around. Of course it would be tough to recreate this swing due to his unique timing and positions without a swing coach, but I was able to come up with a very similar swing and for me it puts me in a position that feels more like a baseball swing so it works.
  11. You could have saved the smart ass comment and not said anything at all. Obviously it's not going to be exactly like his swing and would take a lot of work to get down.
  12. Can't wait to see how well it performs compared to your current gamer. What are you using to track you distances on the course?
  13. Thanks for sharing! This is going to be such a great experience for whoever wins
  14. Hey spies! Curious to see if anyone out there has tried out this swing? I went out today after about a month off from a rib injury and after watching a bunch of different types of swings I figured that I would give it a shot. It took a me a few holes to start to get it down but once I did I noticed that it actually felt like a very flowing swing and I wasn't getting stuck in my backswing like I was used to. On the back nine when I started to get it down I noticed that I was averaging more than 10 yards farther on each club especially the driver which I normally average 250-270, but my drives were all going 270+ and I actually had one about 310 today. Overall i didn't shoot great today, I shot 92 but with some practice I think that it could make a huge difference in my game.
  15. I'm with you, I'm big on aesthetics and really like the milled face on all of these brands. Right now I'm leaning towards a scotty select squareback, but i guess my question really was has anyone actually putted better using any of these brands. Obviously they all look good and have great details, but as mgs podcast mentioned last week looks has nothing to do with performance.
  16. Hey guys, I'm in the market for a new putter and have been looking at various putter from these three brands. I'd like to test all of them out but there aren't any stores near me that have all three in stock. Has anyone noticed any performance differences from these three brands?
  17. Thats odd I haven't heard of that happening with callaways. I have the rogue and have hit a couple toward top with no problems. My friend did have that happen with his f9 though and they replaced it no questions asked, but he did it again so he switched to Titleist TS2. He somehow managed to hit it high again but the top only dents instead of cracking
  18. Anyone had a chance to test these yet? From previous tests Callaway golf balls seems to be very inconsistent, so I'm curious as to how these actually perform.

After college sports my body was a little beat up so golf was much easier on me. I had some friends take me out with them a couple of years ago and even though I sucked I was hooked after 1 round. I love how challenging it can be and having something that I have to work hard to be better at. Of course being out with friends and having a few beers is a good time too.
  20. Was that your clubs featured on Honma's Instagram story today? Good looking hats. They really seem to be going all out for their new customers lately thats great to see.
  21. Great to hear! I picked up a couple dozen this past weekend with the BOGO deal. Did you notice that they performed similar around the greens to the pro v1?
  22. Do you have any pictures? And whats the price?
  23. Thats pretty tempting but I'd really like to have at least 35"
