  1. Hey everyone, I’m also pumped to be a first time tester! I have already bought some triple track erc balls and look forward to doing some tests to compare. I chose the Bridgestone Tour B XS with “pineapples” as my custom word. I’m big into visualization and positive thinking. Just like Jack. Pineapples is just a word that makes me relax, think of a beach, takes me to a sweet feeling. Hopefully that will make me put better? Anyways, I already have been practicing with the triple track and oh boy they help a lot! I’ve always used the small line to line up puts, except for long ones. I’m looking forward to seeing how the XL looks and helps with alignment. I’m also excited to play the new Tour B’s with the reactv cover. I switched to them last year and love the ball! 2. So I’ve been really trying to get my clubs paired down, since using arccos I’ve found that I have a weakness from 3w to 5i and with my up and down performance around the green. It started to make me think. Why do I have a 58* wedge when I can easily open up a for flops and turn it down for a numb and run? I’m starting wonder why an amateur needs a 54 and 58 wedge when I can’t devote the time to practice with either. I’m thinking of going with just a 56 and then next up would be my 50 gap. I also play one length and love it. The standard length wedges are so short too that I never feel confident when a full shot. Would going from 50 to 56* too much of a gap? Anyone else have this thought? Or am I just crazy? Also anyone tried out the new cobra MIM wedge? I’ll hang up and listen. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Yep, I feel I still find my moving the ball up and back through out the set but it’s not as drastic. I’m also starting to test out the Bryson one plane swing. Early returns are good for the woods and poor for the irons! Maybe I should just stop tinkering lol Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. I would do it at the extended plateau. Also keep in mind that dry swings/range speed takes longer to translate to the course. At least it did for me. There is a memory our body has and I think off the tee takes the longest translate. I tend to swing softer on the course to ensure the accuracy given I play on a lot of wooden/tight courses. I think if you keep at it you’ll see a big improvement in the overall game. @ChasingSratch is spit on those. I switched shafts to a x and was about 10-15 yard farther. 5. So I think @ChasingSratch is rubbing off on me. Was racing my wife yesterday at the football field while we let the kiddos run around on the turf and I pulled my groin! So unfortunately after hitting 110-112 consistently at the range earlier in the day I’m going to have to take a few week hiatus. The good new is I beat her in our 30 yard sprint prior to said injury (this is impressive cause she was an all-America long jumper in college). Glad to see everyone’s progress though! Keep it up! When I’m healed up I’m on to the third phase! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Same here!! Im literally in the same boat with the same clubs. They’ve been great for me. I even feel like I’ve improved since switching. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. I got the same one!!! [emoji33] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. [emoji1316] amen. I don’t get to play a ton due to a demanding jobs and two little kids, but when I do it always seems to rain! Pretty much to only down side to PNW golf. My wife jokes that it’s a sign I shouldn’t be leaving my family to golf [emoji81] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Where did you get that? Cause I want one! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Played the cow pasture by my house after and few days (and 2 holes) of heavy rain. So basically every drive stopped at its carry distance but I still getting over 240 carry. Shot 6 over on 9 with two double and no birdies. Hit my driver and 3 wood well, irons felt solid and putter is always on point thanks the back to back most wanted undisputed champ TA #3. Just need to be a bit more accurate on my approach and better around the greens with the wedges... maybe I should practice that more [emoji848] But still a lot of fun to be out there with pops and his new clicgear Rovix push cart (again thanks MGS testing) and my brothers.

  12. He helped design this ball. The graphics at least. They are Oklahoma St colors. That’s why he was playing it. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Taylor Wilsonville, OR Cobra F8 105-110 I’d love to try the 440 model. I’ve always been interested in a smaller head and how it would correlate to speed improvements. I’m am testing the Align XL so not real expecting to get this one too. Good luck to all who apply! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. It’s the classic “guy who never lifted, gets addicted to the mirror” seen it all the time. But I would say as long as he keeps his mobility is fun to watch. I went through the same thing my freshman year or college. I was moved from SS to 1st/3rd and was told to bulk up for power. 2 years of muscle milk and deadlifts lead to lots of power and now lots of knee pain! Lol He probably isn’t skipping the stretching though Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. My lefty has never caught up. I’m not overly concerned about it. I think it’s just to keep symmetry in the body and to not over develop one side of the body. I’m pretty much screwed from years of baseball has left me fairly uneven according to my Chiropractor. There wasn’t any fancy workout coaches at Division II ball. 16. It’s happening!! Got home and decided to hit some wiffles out of the garage to work on some mechanics before my Father’s Day round this weekend and really felt quick. So I through down the radar and BOOM! SPEED BABY! I’m on the last week of the second protocol and with some easy swings and basically no warmup I was hitting the second bump! Hope this is an encouragement for anyone experiencing a plateau/recession. I know I did. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  17. It’s probably just your previous injury flaring up. Start a mobility regiment and take a few days to really just stretch. If you can see a PT to test your overall mobility and strength to find your deficiency. It’s more likely a breakdown in your kinetic chain rather than a swing deficiency. Stress (this protocol) is just revealing a weakness somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  18. This is such a great resource. I'm a big fan of Stallings and his story. I guess I never really looked into what his workouts were but was always interested. Looking forward to giving these a shot!
  19. I know I’m pumped! I’m a little nervous about doing a good job on the review. I’m a Bridgestone guy myself. I’ve been wanting to try snell but didn’t see them as an option. I’ve played srixon too they’re really nice too! I’m trying the whole play one ball thing the MGS guys keep preaching Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. I like the look of the MIM’s. I play the TM MG in 54 and 58 and love them. They seem to spin really well and are very workable. But I’m truly jealous! Lol Have fun bud! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. I want to go to there. [emoji531][emoji531][emoji531] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  22. My set is straight stock from global. Considering I have young children and a substantial student loan bill the golf budget isn’t as big as I’d like. I’m happy to see Cobra come out with their new player distance clubs in one length. I’m hoping to be able to upgrade in a year or two and actually get fit for them this time.
