I appreciate that take, I'm not expecting a silver bullet in changing out from a stiff to an x shaft, just looking for incremental improvement in addition to fixing swing/timing issues. I'm left handed so a miss right is a hook for me. I did the fitting on a whim while I was on vacation so I did not have my driver with me for a baseline, I also hit a Sim2 with a ventus blue 70g x shaft and hit a Titleist TSi3 with their stock x-stiff shaft. Smaller sample sizes on those, but shot dispersion was the "best" with the Ping 75gr, according to the fitter.

Hmmm, I just tried a different method hopefully it's up there now. Thank you.

Hello all, I had my first ever fitting experience this past weekend, and while I really enjoyed it I feel like I left with more questions than what I started with. I went into the fitting wanting to find out if I need to be playing an x-stiff shaft in my driver vs my current stiff shaft. The fitter did say they thought I should be in an x-stiff but couldn't offer much information beyond that. I'm about a 16 hcp lefty who hits the ball a long way and constantly fights a hook, and I know the majority of my issues come from swing path and a steep angle of attack but I was hoping to find out if there were any shafts that might help turn more of my hooks into a more palatable draw. I'm currently playing a Cobra F9 Speedback 10.5° with a HZRDUS Smoke Yellow 60 Stiff shaft and 45.75 in length that I was not fitted for. I would categorize my self as a violent swinger of the club with a pretty quick tempo, and I guess I'm looking for help on finding some shaft options based on the trackman data I was given. There are a dizzying amount of shaft options in today's market and I want to make sure I get something suitable for my swing that may help mitigate some of my swing flaws (lol) as well. Thank you
