I feel like for me it's fully about comfort. I have pretty small hands size. I played baseball in college so I am used to having a baseball bat in my hands so standard grips just don't do it for me. I use midsize grips with 2 wraps under those. With standard grips I always felt like I was choking the club.

I've recently invested in shaft clamps epoxy and beads! Just in case I have more issues with head letting loose

I think a lot has to do with attitude. I play with some guys who are mediocre golfers, but expect the world. They get very angry about shots or misses that someone at that level will hit, and they bend the rules. But then there is a 75 your old guy who absolutely loves golf and doesn't care how he does, just happy to be out there, but I play better with him.

I agree, I feel the difference in a shaft from 1 with supposedly same ish specs. I think if I had an opportunity to get fitted in my life I would've save hundreds of dollars on shafts just finding what shaft is right for me as well as the club head I had at the time. On the other hand it might be how my swing has been evolving over time. Like Michael said, no one knows lol. Talk about talking in circles

Yeah, the hole is the same size no matter where you go! I would be proud of the achievement! Good on ya! like you said your clubs were rolling out much farther so that's just something you have to adjust. Congrats!

My goal is to get into the championship flight of our big milokivic tournament this year. Missed it by a stroke last year. First step is to get out of my own way on holes where I know I don't need driver of the tee. I need to improve my full wedge shots. My tendency is to hit full wedges thin. And sure up the putting.

On the course I like to listen to The Avett Brothers 90 percent of the time, but I will throw on classic rock station sometimes depending on what my group likes.

I played yesterday, shot a 75 with a 6 on 6(par 4). I hit every club a half club father, so I wasn't happy hitting different numbers but happy I gained a little iron distance. Used my short drive shaft and stripped everything. 340yrd drive on the last. So not mad about it

well I got to it today, first iron shot on hole 1 perfect 8 iron distance. Club stayed intact!! Had to use it 3 or 4 more times and as of now looking good!! Thanks everyone, I'll keep you posted

Well I've been known to leave some wierd things on the course. So I like to take my kids golfing even when they are too young. I would bungy my sons car seat to the golf cart seat. And he's been known to leave pacifiers on the course. The course manager would tell me once a week I found something that might belong to Ezra (my sons name). As he would swiftly pull out a pacifier with a fox attatched to it.
