  1. Would you be willing to sell the head? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. Fellow Spies, My friends and I are playing a trip in and around the Hurricane, Utah and Mesquite, Nevada area and I am looking for course recommendations other than Wolf Creek and Sand Hollow which are in the list!! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. I am right there with you about seeing someone pull out a range finder from less than 50! Thank you for the feedback!
  4. That is a very valid point about having a range finder on the driving range.
  5. I'm sure this topic has been discussed ad nauseam but I'm going to give it a rip anyway. When playing a round of golf what do you prefer to use a Range Finder or GPS Unit whether it's a watch or handheld device? I play with a Range Finder but I have been entertaining the idea of switching over to a GPS unit. I really like the Garmin Approach S62. I was wondering if anyone as information on the Garmin Approach S62 or information on switching over? Or what y'all prefer to use.
  6. I have had my eye on TPC Sawgrass from the minute I have been interested in golf. I want to see how well or poorly I do on 17.
  7. That's awesome! Getting as many people involved in this great game is what it's all about.
  8. This is a great question! Golf is a challenging sport as is so I am always striving to be better and I feel as if i can always improve. (One of the main reasons I love golf) But for this summer I'm going to put in a lot of range time really getting my swing dialed in something that can be easily repeated. I know it's a lofty goal but i would love to record my first hole in one this summer!
  9. The weather in Colorado can be super unpredictable. But the scenery and elevation is a major bonus.
  10. That would be awesome to tee it up some time! I've play Riverdale Dunes, Walnut Creek, and Colorado National and loved all three! Coal Creek is another great track. I'll have to check out the other recommendations.
  11. I have been looking into GolfWod is it worth it or should I look into a different sort of training program?
  12. Thank you for the recommendations! I live really close to Fossil Trace and I've been told I need to check it out so that's at the top of the list. I'll report back when I play a few.
  13. I did. I moved to Colorado from Texas. It sure is nice to get that added yardage.
  14. I need to make more of an effort to walk. I enjoy walking way more than riding. I also feel like I play better when I walk because I stay loose. The problem is all my golf buddies don't enjoy walking so I end up riding with them.
  15. Spies, I moved to Colorado about two years ago. I haven't been able to get out and play as many courses as I'd like. But I was wondering if there are any Colorado golfers or golfers that have played in Colorado willing to provide some course recommendations that I can check out this summer? I look forward to hearing from y'all.
  16. Michael, Just joined MGS today! Glad to see some fellow Colorado golfers. I moved to Colorado from Texas so I understand the sadness of not being able to golf year round! But it is nice to avoid that heat.
  17. Howdy Fellow Spies, I am new to this forum so I figured I'd let y'all know a little about me. I have been playing golf for around 17 years. Started with a YMCA Summer Camp at 10 and I have been hooked ever since! My handicap is 1.5 currently hoping to get to scratch this summer. What I love most about golf is that I can bring anyone together and you can find some of your best friends in a random Sunday fourball. I was drawn to MyGolfSpy because of the honest No BS reviews and product testing. I was born and raised in Montana. Moved to California, to Washington, to Texas, and finally settled in Colorado. My home course is Lake Arbor Golf Club in Arvada. The best thing about golf in this region is the diversity of all the courses and being able to travel to different locations to play. The worst thing about golf in this region is being shut down due to the snow in the winter. I am an Assistant Golf Professional at Lake Arbor Golf Club I am not the most creative fella so I picked my user name by combining my first and last name and Montana's area code.
